Chapter 3: Divinity

The great room located in the camp of the king of Denmark, the same room that the new king was in, shook. At the time Alan the new king was sitting in his throne chair completely desolate.

He was still bonding that He had indeed become the new king by killing someone, the old king who was about to be amicably deposed by his soldiers.

Alan ended up seeing a panel in front of him and when he touched the panel he found it was some sort of system that asked to activate it. The curious man activated the system without even thinking about the consequences.

Then the system showed him the names of Norse gods he knew. among, they were the most powerful and even monster gods who led him to choose one of the monster gods, because of his instinct.

A light flashed following Alan and causing everything around the castle to shudder to cause a small earthquake.

"Where am I?" Opening his eyes Alan looked in all directions

He didn't recognize where he was. One thing, he was sure, he was no longer in the Danish throne room. He was on a huge, completely white glacier that made everything around him white.

Snow falls around you. Alan instinctively shrank back from the cold. but soon he loosened up once more upon realizing that the cold had not touched him.

He wasn't feeling anything, neither cold nor heat it was just the humid ambient temperature he was used to.

"Maybe my dream of running away worked? Why am I not cold?" questioning himself Alan took a step back and turned around "I have to find shelter"

he started walking across the ice slowly looking in all directions. he didn't want to be unlucky enough to run into a predator. Not when he managed to escape the Vikings

*Whistle*

A hiss made Alan's skin shiver. It wasn't the whistle of cricket, there shouldn't be crickets in this place. His eyes focused on everything around him intently.

He had already heard a whistle like that in his house. Which meant it wasn't a good thing. That whistle was a sign that you or anyone else was threatening a dangerous animal and you better watch out.

Having lived most of his life in Rio de Janeiro helped him with that. Having to be vigilant at all times not to get kidnapped, robbed, or killed was something he was an expert at doing.

"Alright, let's not be silly and walk around without any kind of knowledge about the place-- just take it easy without panic and no running, just pretend you know the place and don't despair" Trying to calm down. Alan started trying to remember the basics to survive in case he got lost when he went to a dance in a Community further away from his own.

Of course, for him, going to dances was much more dangerous, as his mother was a policeman and later became a politician. So it would be terrible for him if they found out who he was

At this pace, he walked for over two hours and the whistling sounds continued to follow him. Each time, more scared, He could no longer deal with his fear and stopped walking.

He bit his lip and gritted his teeth as he turned 360 putting his eyes on everything around him.

"Enough, I'm fucking tired of this! who are you? show up now" Kicking the ground hard. Alan cursed whoever was following him

*To snap*

Just below Alan, the ground cracked making him jump back with a start. he took several steps backwards off-balance until he fell to the ground and rolled in the white snow.

Even though he hit his face in the snow, he didn't feel any cold at all, despite being covered in snow. His body shape got stuck in the snow.

He tried to curse, the damn groundbreaking beneath him nearly throwing him into the frozen water.

*BOOOMM*

The ice exploded causing Alan to be completely shocked not even able to finish his curses.

His eyes flicked up to where they found a giant mountain-sized mace standing a few feet away from him. Alan dropped his jaw when he realized it wasn't the mountain he was seeing.

It was a giant snake that was the biggest size of 100 meters tall looking at it almost as if it were from the sky.

The snake lowered its head to look at Alan who curled himself up completely into a ball with his arms and legs already starting to pray.

*This coward is my new reincarnation? Hummp! What a waste!* With contempt the snake spoke.

The snake had an arrogant voice and exactly what could not be described as anything less than authoritative. Once the snake's words were released, it was impossible not to stop and hear it

*Okay, you were chosen by the chair, weren't you? must have some commanding skill without being a coward-- I will accept the contract, but know that if you die a coward and sully my name-- I will destroy your soul*

The snake screamed with a furious roar and its body glowed with the light entering Alan
