" Please don't go, mom will be upset and mad at me, you can say anything you want at dinner, everyone will be there" she held his cloth tightly, preventing him from taking a step further. " Besides you reek, you have to take a bath"
" What do you mean by I reek?, I just took a bath" trying to defend himself.
" You put too much perfume"
" I'll just change my clothes then"
" No!, I will advise you to take a bath again" she picked up the gifts he brought for her and went towards the door. " Ae yeon will bring your food any minute from now, eat, rest and don't forget to take a bath, bye" she quickly closed the door behind her, she noticed he had many things to say but didn't pay attention.
" Huh!", She sighed, " that went well"
She was heading to ik-jun's chambers, holding a wooden tray with different dishes on it which was covered with a white cloth as thought's ran through her mind.
' I doubt if he can even remember me, it's been six years now, I can still remember when he saved me and took me on his horse, his heartbeat was different from any other person and his breath.... no Ae yeon, don't think about that anymore. Think of what you'll say if you meet him. Hi— no, hello young master how was your journey did you find any woman that suit your taste..... No!, he will think I pokenose in other people's affairs.'
She finally arrived at the door and was thinking of how to open it when it suddenly opened, ik-jun was standing by the door, the slim body built twenty seven year old was wearing a black undergarment, he forgot to tie the rope on his shirt which unveiled his muscular fit body built chest, she barely swallow her saliva upon seeing him.
" I brought my food"
" you mean my food" he corrected.
" yes my...I mean your food"
come in, he said as he opened the door and tied the rope on his shirt. As she entered, he collected the tray from her hand. She stood still as his hand brushed hers, it was forward which looked like she's still holding the tray.
" Thanks for the food, so how is Han yul doing? I heard...."
She paid less attention to what he was saying, and more to the imaginary world. The thought of his hand brushing hers makes her heart beat faster.
' huh!!!, Am not taking a bath for a whole day, this is the best thing that has ever happened to me' she felt like screaming.
"... right?, What do you think?" That was the last word she heard after coming back to reality.
" Anything you say young master."
"She'll be alright by tommorow I think, even though I haven't seen the state she's in"
She nodded in unison. " I have to go now." She went out of his chambers and closed the door behind her.
" Have I said anything wrong to her" he murmured.
On her way, she kept thinking if what happened was a dream or not. she placed her hand on the left side of her chest, trying to feel her heartbeat.
" At this rate, I think it's about to explode" she ran away with heart full of joy.
Lady chaewon was feeding Han yul in the living room.
" Eat up, you only had three spoons."
" Mom, I think I'll throw up if I take another spoon."
" What about soup?"
" Just a little."
Trader Soo byung hu came in, he was astonished at the sight, it felt like a dream.
" This is a miracle..." He sat down next to them. " Did you call physician ma-dong?"
" Yes he's probably on his way now, I sent ji woon to call him."
" Han yul, do you feel any pain?" Her father asked.
" No, just a slight headache."
Physician ma-dong came in, with ji woon following him.
Upon seeing Han yul, " I see...she woke up!"
" Yes"
After some minutes of diagnosis.
" She's fine, she needs a lot of rest, as for the headache I'll send an intern to bring it over, I'll be on my way now"
" Thank you so much, we can't thank you enough"
" Don't say that, to be sincere it's really a miracle that she's awake" he turned to leave, " I have to hurry back to the clinic, I'll stop and check on her from time to time."
" Let's go i'll walk you out" trader Soo byung hu collected his bag as they went out.
**Heeleng palace**
A beautiful slim lady, wearing a royal purple hanbok with a white garment on top was walking through prince buyong's Chambers. Eunuch Yun saw her approaching and announced her arrival. " Your highness princess Lu Chen is here."
" Trying to cover up for him huh?, It won't work this time."
She bumped the door open. He was wearing a simple cloth, a bottle of wine on a table infront of him, being entertained by a dancer.
" I see, you're busy" she said bitterly.
" Yes, why don't you sit down and enjoy?" His attention was more on the dancer who was dancing professionally.
" No, I've had enough for today." she stared angrily at the dancer who noticed the message she was sending but pretended not to. " Would you go out willing or do you want me to use force."
She quickly ran out upon hearing those words. She continued
" when will you stop all this childish behaviour and start acting like a man?"
" Is that what brings you here?, I was enjoying my evening, yet you ruined it. What do you want?"
" Oh sweetie, am here to tell you a good news.."
He cuts her off quickly " you're going back to jegu? Please let that be it!" He refilled the cup with some wine and took a sip.
" No, we'll be getting married in two weeks"
He choked upon hearing the news which he presumed bad.
" Surprising right!!, We were engaged since we were kids, it's been 20 years now. We would have married seven years ago, but you keep up bringing silly excuses, you either faint, disappear ... Last time you pretended you were possessed by an evil spirit!!" She said roaming about his room.
" Just get to the point, am tired of all your nagging."
" The point is, no matter what trick you come up with this time, even if you pretend to be dead, i'll still marry your corpse."
" Wow!!! You see right through me. Lu Chen, you know this marriage was arranged a very long time ago... I mean we didn't even know what love is. But now, we're all grown ups. we know what's good and bad for us, so I'll really appreciate if you break this foolish engagement and find a prince somewhere."
She Giggled, " easy for you to say, you're the only man I love and this marriage will take place, I'll take my leave now sweetie." She turned and left his chambers.
Agitated, he smashed the wine glass on the floor and smirked
" marriage!!, Huh....she has guts."
