Chapter 3: 4. The robe thief is....
"Splash!"
With a splashing sound, Qin Meng fell right into a pool full of cold water which jumped out everywhere due to the inertia.
"Gasp!"
She let out a loud gasp trying to let the air inside her lungs.
Looking around she noticed that she had fallen inside another bath house which was much larger and spacious than the bathroom of the Emperor but less flashy.
She was wet all over once again, the loose robes fell off her shoulders revealing her sharp shoulder blade and hollow beauty bones that could even contain water droplets that fell from her hair and face.
[Host, how can you do that?]
The pink rabbit was iffy because it was pulled away from the place like that when it could have just followed her form behind.
And now it was in such a simple place that did not have any artistic paintings or expensive materials.
"I just saved your ass from the emperor. Why are you complaining?" Qin Meng tightened the rope of the robe around her waist since it was too loose and too big for her.
As for the wetness of the clothes, she did not mind it one bit as long as she could cover her body.
[Tch Tch Tch host, you are too naive.]
The rabbit shook it's tail and palms at the same time denying her conjecture.
[Only you can see me. There is no one else who can see me except you.]
The rabbit system said smugly.
"Whatever, Now that the deed is done, let's just go away from here." Qin Meng looked around the place they had fallen into.
[You go away yourself, I do not want to go.]
The pink rabbit system was wilful.
It was acting like a brat because before it was forcefully pulled away it was looking at the expensive furnishing materials there in the bathroom and calculating how much they would cost if it made its host sell them in markets.
After all, the materials in the Emperor's washroom were of high quality.
He was positive the profit will skyrocket.
His host was the rightful wife of the emperor so it was even more positive about many things.
The prospect for the future were very high for the little guy.
" Fine, suit yourself." Qin Meng found a small way out of the room they had fallen into and was making preparations to go out.
Since the rabbit said it could follow her itself, she was not worried about it.
Rather she was more than happy as taking care of another perosn while on run was simply adding burden to oneself.
The rabbit system who had both of it's eyes closed in stubbornness slowly opened its eyes to check whether the host was lying or playing a trick.
[GAHHH.....] It was jump stricken seeing the host crawling on her knees to get out of the hole on the room.
-It had not expected her to be this cold bit what could it even expect out of a high ranking assassin who killed people in cold blood.
[Host, I can take both of us out of this room just like how we came.]
The rabbit could no longer endure the struggle of the host to escape from the rat hole.
"I know you can." Qin Meng was still trying to make the hold wider for her body to enter by pulling out why weak planks and bamboo sticks.
[Then why did not you ask me?]
The rabbit system asked with a surprised pikachu face although it was a rabbit....
"Because you will just ask for money for the transportation."
Qin Meng could not be in debt of the rabbit more than she already was.
-Well, that is true. The rabbit system thought upon hearing her reason.
Since the rabbit was silent, Qin Meng decided to use the silence to search for another alternative.

The Emperor entered the washroom with only his white transparent inner robe covering his body.
It had been a tiring day for him, spending the whole day in the royal meeting hall in the palace dealing with cunning and sly ministers. Those old foxes. He cursed under his breathe.
As he was about to take off his inner robe while entering the bathroom, he heard a loud splash sound coming from right out of the window.
He even felt as if he had seen some shadow jumping out of the window like a professional 'assassin.'
Was someone out to get him?? He wondered and there was high chance that it was true.
Being a king amd sitting on a throne was lie a double edged sword.
While it gave you the absolute power, it also made you the absolute enemy of all the people hence being made into a target when ever and where ever.
His sharp eyes looked at the window and the splashing sound was more than enough for him to realize that someone had been inside his bathroom and jumped out as soon as he arrived.
He looked around the bathroom checking for any trap or something dangerous but he found the room intact except...
The water in his tub was used already and even his robe was missing!!!
"This thief is interesting!" A small vein popped up in his forehead realising that someone did made their way into his bathroom.
Maybe it was time to re-train the soldires and guards who were getting laid back and lax in their duties.
He knew he had to think on this matter seriously.
"Guards go and surround the out house bath this instant." He ordered the guard that had been assigned to his room and to patrol the corridors.
All of them without questioning his order, went outside to surround the bath house like how the emperor had commanded them.
Pulling back his inner robe, he went to where the window was and looked at the hole in the roof of the house.
"Daring enough to infiltarte an Emperor's bathroom." The emperor looked at the hole with contempt and disdain in his eyes.
"You will regret stealing the robe of the Emperor."

Qin Meng stopped her action on the spot when she heard many loud footsteps surrounding the bath house.
Rabbit system: ["....."]
Qin Meng: "..."
'Dang! Was I found out this soon?' She cursed inwardly since she could no longer use the hole to escape.
Both the rabbit system and Qin Meng looked in horror as the door of the bath house that was locked out from outside was opening in slow motion.
" We are dead meat."Qin Meng looked at the door anxious as the only one who held key to this place was the Emperor himself.
