Chapter 43: Chapter 43 (H-hidden world!!!)

*BOOM!*

"Holy hell! this guy is relentless!"
Hiro shouted as he frantically galloped ahead in unrest.
"The large hole from before should be around here!... I will have to be quick or else whoever is chasing me will catch up!"
He then proceeded on with his slithering.
Passing by numerous holes and caved in areas.
All of these were the results of his previous excavating project before... but now it comes in handy by marking the way for his path.
He still recalled all of these...
naturally, he needed to grasp these chances to run away.
30 minutes before...
the tremor wasn't that apparent since he had distanced himself far away... but soon his expectations were betrayed by the cruel reality.
Instead of lessening... the eruption and booming above become louder and louder.
And that could only imply one thing which is... whoever was chasing him was getting closer and closer.
He can't even catch a breath for himself as he had been speeding up on his trail for a very long time.
"Dam it!... I already have enough points to evolve but whoever this damned trash is coming too soon!."
" I need to find a place secured for me and evolve and then this existence will pose no threat to me"
Hiro coughed in exhaustion with his body zigzagged away at the same time.
The hole might be small to him... but for normal-sized humans. This place is a giant labyrinth...
Judging by the amount of distance he had ventured till this point... this whole cave is more like a whole county or even a region.
But the permeating aura of death that still lingered from before would instantly kill any normal human that stumbled here by accident.
Minutes passed by...
accompanied behind him would be the periodically muffled sounds of booming above.
Even though the distance had been spanned once again but the momentum was still there...
no time to slack...
"Hahaha! finally!... I finally reached this God damn hole!"
Hiro yelled in excitement as he finally halted his large body next to a large slope with the never-ending darkness on its far end.
Hiro is wagering his odds on this never-ending hole. Betting the possibilities of escaping through here.
The hole is 1km wide and 600-800 meters tall. More than enough for his body size to pass through easily.
"Whatever existed on the other side of this hole... I just hope it won't be that hard to deal with... "
Hiro prayed silently within and then...
"To the unknown shall we... "
He impatiently slithered into the large slope without turning back. His head protruded up as his eyes glanced all over the place in wakefulness.
He can never be too idle and careless. One never knows when a hidden danger would strike...
The slope is slanting downward. It seemed that this hole is leading him deeper and deeper into the earth. Bye-bye, the surface world huh?...
His very first plan was actually to go to the ocean... but with the sudden appearance of this new danger. All of his plans went into a flop.
Better be safe than sorry...
As he was slithering away inside this hole...
A couple of kilometers above...
*giss*
"The consumption to drill inside here is too much!"
"Unless I am a monster that could utilize an energy bomb... then it will be extremely handy."
*sigh*
Mildred postponed his action as he contemplated for a minute.
The mission was to seize any remains or even the smallest fraction of energy from the prince's body
but now...
the plan is obstructed by this thick soil beneath him. The hardness of the old continent soil is 100 times stronger than the human continent.
His normal excavating skill originated from the human side...
naturally, it won't have that much of an effect.
"Whatever was running below just now... doesn't appear to be related to the prince's death. But the chances are still there"
"Though... if I were to proceed on with this method. The target would have escaped thousand of kilometers away already by the next hour"
"And judging by it... it should be a monster"

He then slowly fluttered his wings behind and floated away from the ground... up along the prior hole that he had created.
It seemed that Mildred had given up on chasing Hiro...
One would be that it required too much energy and his excavating skill is an extremely low-grade one.
His human world doesn't have a higher level one since... such type of skill won't be used by many.

Back to where Hiro was...

*cracks*
"Urgh?... why is there suddenly so many stones and rubbles?. I think I had never reached here before... "
He mumbled to himself while noticing the small stones scattered around on his path.
Well... it is small to him but not to us.
Along the way... he had been crushing against these stones with his rock-hard body.
And it's not like he was getting injured or anything. It just felt a bit uncomfortable... with the rubbing noises of it...
Even though he doesn't like it... but he can't avoid these rocks either. There were too many of them scattered around.
"This should be a new area that I had never explored before... "
"But just what type of hole is this?... there's no way this hole is a natural one. It's too properly made in... "
Hiro thought to himself...
Looking over the polished ceiling up above and the completely squared hole slanting downward.
There's no way for this to be natural...
After thinking about it for a while... he then decided to put it on hold for the time and continued on his journey.
Even though the booming sounds had ceased away from his ears... but that doesn't mean he is 100% safe now.
No risk should be taken!...

...
Roughly 30 minutes later...
"There's light?"
Hiro exclaimed in surprise as he gazed intently to the far end of his sight.
There he saw it... a blinding square-shaped source of light coming from the so-called outside of this hole.
"I should mark my moves slowly... it's better to be careful here"
He asserted while slithering ahead with his head lowered more than 30 meters below. Well... to him it is low... but obviously from afar it still looks like a giant hill.
After that...
He eventually entered on the edge of the end with his large body blended in with the ground color...
and soon enough...
"T-this place is?!?!?"
He blurted out in surprise with his eyes shined in amazement. His words staggered but his heart trickled in excitement!...
Looking around the whole area before him...
The scene before him presently is astonishing!.
"A hidden world!!!"
He murmured to himself.
There before him...
an endless forest from above with large mountains and lakes scattered all around. And the strange thing would be for the earth ceiling up above. Tens of kilometers in height and for the size?.... he can't see the end of it.
"A-amazing!... it's like an underground world! "
"I need to explore this place first before going to the ocean then!"
"B-but...How do I get down?"
Unexpectedly... a problem occurred next.
How should he get down from here?.
Determining the height from above, this hole mouth should be more than 5 kilometers on the sky... which is in any normal means. It is too far up.
If he were to jump down recklessly...
certainly, an enormous consequence and explosion would occur next and thus lead to unwanted attention.
Maybe there are many powerful creatures here that he is not aware of?. Then... that's too risky...

Lowering down lower and lower from the sky as Hiro created a small peeking hole from his side to look around.
