Chapter 99: Chapter 99 - Avenger's Assemble?

"Okay people. Get ready for the big reveal!" Tony Stark yelled out. In the past month, he had done loads of rehab and built himself a slimed-down version of the Iron Man suit just for the legs.
(A/N The one Rhodes had in the OG, But way better. Stark is going to keep upgrading those constantly)
"Tony, you are getting way too excited." Peper who was by his side chastised him, but she was smiling. Happy that he was in such a good mood.
"How can I not be excited, The world is about to see the Avengers again. The New and improved Avengers!" Tony started laughing at the end
Steve Rogers sighed at his antics. He was wearing a brand new Capitan America suit. Designed for Shock Nullification. A lesson learned from his fight with Ward.
"Tony I know I have asked this more than a couple of times. But are you sure you want to go public? We have never done things like this before"
Stark just shook his head"Sigh Cap chill out. This is an opportunity to show off our new members.And for people to see that we are still here to help. What do you think rookies? Ready to get this show started??" He turned to the group of people who were trying and failing not to be nervous.
A teenager with brown hair was fidgeting. He was a nervous wreck "Mr.Stark are you sure I need to go out there? Can't I just keep doing what I do? Catching bad guys is a lot less scary than going out there"
"Jesus kid calm down. Peter If you can fling yourself out of the top of the highest buildings and swing around town with your spiderwebs. You can handle a few reporters." Tony tried to calm him down. But it was clear he was enjoying Peter's suffering.
"Kid calm down and breathe. You are going to pass out for god's sake. Just stand there and wave your hand you will be fine." Daisy Johnson, AKA Quake. Was one of the new members of the team. She just like Cap was wearing new gear made by Stark. One that makes it easier for her to control and use her powers.
"I don't get what the big deal is. It's just the press" A tall muscular man was leaning on the wall. He had spiky black hair. Stark just facepalmed
"Really? Now? We have been having common sense classes for 2 weeks now. And you still haven't made any progress" Tony pointed a finger at the man
"Well seeing as how you build me and programmed me. The fault lies with you. Honestly Stark if you are going to make the world's first Android do it right," The man.. no. The Andriod pointed back and mocked Tony
"Boy's not now. It's almost time" Pepper interrupted them. Why Tony made the android so similar to him she will never know. Once they start arguing they can go on for hours
""Fine"" Both of them reluctantly agreed to keep it civil
Clap.Clap.Clap
Everybody turned around to see. T'Challa in his Black Panther suit clapping his hands.
"Every time I see you two amazes me. Even with all the technology on Wakanda. We are nowhere near the level required to build an android."
Stark puffs up his chest "Of course. I'm the one who built it after all. My genius brain is so smart, that it's almost frightening"
Rhodes lightly scoffed "Yea. Your genius brain decided that one Stark wasn't enough. So you made an android that's exactly like you." He then turned to the android "Can you tell me your name again. Just so people know"
The android smiled and pointed his thumb at his chest "My name is Vision Stark. It's a pleasure"
"Get it 'Vision of the Future " Stark grinned like a child while the others groaned from his puns
"Really Tony? That's what you named him?" The Cap facepalmed
"Hey it's a good name. What did you think I was going to call him? Call him Android and slap a number next to it? Please that's so unoriginal" Stark crossed his arms
"Yes. That's exactly what we thought" Daisy pointed at him "After all it's you, we are talking about"
Stark looked offended and slumped down
"I think it's a great name Mr.Stark" Peter complimented awkwardly
Tony got back up and gave a bright smile "See the kid gets it"
"Sighhh. Whatever let's just get this over with" Cap put on his mask and entered the Stage
###Wanda and Pietro's POV
In Nevada. Two people were sitting in a studio apartment (one-room). They were watching the Avengers on TV. Their first appearance after a while.
"So Stark is still going at it. I mean we knew he didn't die. They didn't announce his death, But I was hoping he would be in a bed for the rest of his life" Pietro spat out and refilled his glass.
"Pietro while he is still alive. His life as IronMan is over. People are talking on the web. Apparently, he can't even be in the 'walking prosthetic for too long. We didn't get what we wanted. But he didn't come out of it unscathed.
Pietro we can't risk attacking again. They will know what to look out for. We took our shot and failed. It's time to move on." Wanda took Pietro's hand and gently squeezed
Pietro lowered his head and tears started falling "I know. That doesn't mean I have to like it. But I won't risk your future. We have a shot at being happy, we are hidden here. We dyed our hair and stay out of any cameras. We have good jobs now, thanks to your powers. I don't want to risk losing this on something that will likely get us killed.
It hurts, Just to watch them, smiling living their life. But our parents are dead. We lived through those painful experiments for revenge. Now we have to live with these feelings for a better life"
Wanda just hugged her brother. It was killing them, letting go of revenge.
Not because it's the right thing to do. Because it's the best option for them.
