Chapter 2: CHAPTER 2-YAKISOBA BUN
"Re-chan! Did you bring bento today?" Yura asked when the bell rang for lunch.
"Nah. Not today." Remi answered.
"Oh. I see. Is it because you were late today?" Yura asked. "Again?"
"Hey, don't say it like for the past three days I haven't been coming to school early, hey." The brunette scratched the back of her neck.
"You know yourself!" Yura sighed.
"Hey, short stuff." They heard Tatsume say. "I need to borrow an eraser."
"Borrow someone else's. I don't want your filthy hands on my stuff." Remi said coldly.
"Ooh, so cold. Come on, Re-chan, I'll wash my hands." Tatsume smirked.
"Don't call me that!" Remi exclaimed standing up from her seat.
"Let's go Yu-chan."
"Hmm..." Yura hummed. "You two would make a good couple." She smiled at the two.

"...WHAA...T?!!" The brunette and blackette exclaimed.
"Are you blind?!" Remi asked.
"Me, her? NO way." Tatsume frowned.
"You two can't see, it but I can." Yura started walking out of the classroom.
"Hey, Yu-chan!?" Remi exclaimed, going after her.
Tatsume stood the there spacing out after the two girls had left.
"Naofumi-San!" Someone called out. "Let's go for lunch."
"Yeah."

"Who does she think she is, scolding Tatsume-kun like that?" Someone said to their selves.
As they walked, they got weird stares from everyone in the hallway. Her bubble gum pink hair bounced as she walked. She shrugged as she was used to it.
She was a girl who was constantly bullied for the colour of her hair.
"Hey, pinky!" A blond guy called out to her.
As he approached her, she muttered "Crap! Not this again."
When he got to her he smirked and his lackeys surrounded her. She gulped.
The blond was about to grab her hair when he felt a fist connect with his jaw.
"Damn it!" He cursed.
"What did I tell you last time?" He glared at them.
"N-not to m-mess with Haruka-san an-anymore!" The blond guy stuttered.
"Tatsume-kun!" The pinkette, now known as Haruka, exclaimed.
The group ran away while Tatsume was still glaring their way. After a few moments he sighed and turned to Haruka.
"Are you okay?" He asked her. "I really told you to dye your hair to a normal color."
"No! You know why, don't you? This hair color is special to me. It's like she's still with me." She said.
"Chiyo, You really have to let go of the past." Tatsume quipped.
"I know but...She's my mom! I can't let go of her."

"Yu-chan, stop it!" Remi groaned. "I said I DON'T like him."
"Fufufu, you will soon enough." Yura giggled.
Remi rolled her eyes. The queue moved a bit. At the moment they were in a queue to buy food.
"Finally! This is going so slow." Remi whined.
"I didn't know you liked food, short stuff." Tatsume said coming up to them with Haruka behind him.
"Shut up, jerkface." Remi said in annoyance. She then noticed Haruka. "Who's she?"
"For calling me jerkface, I won't tell you." He taunted. Remi groaned.
"Don't worry! I'll tell yo myself." She said. "My name is Haruka Chiyo, and you can't talk to Tatsume-kun like that!"
"First name basis and defending the guy? Are you his girlfriend?" Remi asked. "Doubt it though. You're too pretty to be his girlfriend."
"Really?! Y-you think so?" She gushed. "Thank you!"
"You're welcome." The brunette beamed.
"One Yakisoba bun, please." Remi requested. Tatsume also requested it. Then both noticed there was only one bun left.
"I asked for it first so, please give it to me, hey!" Remi exclaimed.
"Chill. We asked at the same time so we're going to share it." Tatsume said calmly.
"We're going to what?!" Remi frowned.
"Isn't that more reasonable?" The blackette asked.
"...Fine! Just...just don't cheat me." Remi agreed.
"Sure." Tatsume said. Then he smirked. "I mean, you even need it more than I do, since you're so short!"
Remi elbowed him in the gut. He groaned as held his stomach. Yura giggled at their antics while Chiyo had a concerned look on her face.
They decided to divide the payment between themselves. After they made payment for all of their lunches, the four went to a table to eat lunch.
Remi noticed that Tatsume was not with his guy companions.
"Hey, aren't you supposed to be with your friends, Nao...jerkface?" Remi asked.
"Oh, I decided not to sit with them today." Tatsume said. "Here."
He gave her her share of the bun. She noticed her piece was bigger than his. She bit her lip.
"Are you going to be okay with that piece?"
"Oh? Is Re-chan worried about me?" Tatsume smirked.
Remi blushed a little. "What? No. Of course not!" She lowered her head. "It'll seem like I cheated you, that's all."
"Don't worry. I don't really eat much." He smiled.
"Oh. So that's why you're so skinny." The brunette remarked.
"Hey! At least I have height!" The blackette teased.
Remi groaned. Remi looked at him as he opened his mouth for a bite. She suddenly shoved her piece of the bread into his mouth. His eyes widened and so did everyone's at the table.
"Eat." She muttered.
"Mmf?" Tatsume's words were muffled because of the food.
"I said eat, hey!" She commanded.
"H-hey are you trying to choke him?!" Chiyo asked in a worried tone.
"No, I'm feeding him." Remi replied nonchalantly. "I'm f-feeding him..."
The brunette suddenly realized what she was implying and let go of the Yakisoba bun. She was blushing profusely.
Tatsume swallowed the bite he took and smirked at her red face.
"W-what are you looking at, jerkface?"
"Mm...Nothin'."
The bell rang throughout the school and students started to head for their classes.
"We should go too." Chiyo suggested.
"Yeah, I'm goin' on ahead." Yura said and stood up to go.
"Sure." Remi said.
Chiyo, Tatsume and Remi went a few minutes after Yura exited the cafeteria.
"I think we have chemistry now." Haruka said.
"Dang it! I hate chemistry." Tatsume whined.
"Why's that?" Remi asked with curiosity.
"He always blows up the lab." Haruka gave a lopsided smile.
Tatsume sighed in worry. "Why does it have to be chemistry?!"
