Chapter 10: The Queen of Dragnof
"This is Riverwood, the final rest stop before we continue our journey. The people here are nice and kind. There is an inn nearby so let's go there." Irene was happily hopping, it's been quite a long time since she ventured out of her kingdom, she got herself a friend and even a crush.
The three people head over to the nearest inn which also worked as a bar, the inn wasn't that far from the entrance to the village, there was a blacksmith shop, a general store, farms, an inn, and some houses. If someone needed something, it would mostly be fulfilled.
Irene's voluptuous body attracted every single male, never had they seen such a beauty walk by. Some mercenaries were eyeing her up and down and if the two men, Alduin and Acnologia weren't beside her, they would've asked her out already, or probably forced her.
"Oooh, this is quite the place. It looks so peaceful. It seems the dragon attacks haven't affected this place that much." Alduin's voice was full of wonder, there was also a green dragon in the forest. Seems that he didn't attack this place, but the south waste forest was in a civil war currently since the king of the forest was slain, the animals started to compete for authority.
"Tch, this place will soon be destroyed anyway. The dragons have begun to attack humans at whim and this will soon affect this place." Acnologia sneered, the dragons not attacking this place would be impossible, although his view of the dragons had changed by a bit because of Paarthurnax.
"Now~Now. Let's not talk about such depressive things, let's head to the inn and stay for a day or two. We have to go to my kingdom at once-."
When Irene said, "My Kingdom" she slapped her lips and started to run towards the inn. Her jiggling assets mesmerized every male's eyes while the women felt inferior? Alduin was also no exception, while Acnologia just sneered.
At the same time, a black-haired man with innocent features was picking up herbs in a forest. At that moment, a huge crimson red dragon appeared in front of him. The dragon seemed puzzled at why he would come here.
"Zeref, my friend. Why have you come here?" The crimson red dragon seemed puzzled.
"Igneel, I ask of you to take care of my little brother Natsu. I can't take care of him because of the curse, so I beg of you to properly raise him." Zeref smiled and politely asked Igneel.
"You know the risks are as great even if I take care of him. The Alakatsia dragons are coming over to Ishgar to conquer and rule this place. I have to defend this place and your little brother might not be so safe with me either." Igneel said as he understood how Zeref felt but the risks were great with him too.
"There is a reason why the dragons call you, "Fire Dragon King Igneel" you know that. I believe I CAN FLYYY!!!"
(A/N: Ahem*)
"I believe that you can protect him Igneel. I trust you." Zeref's smile was shining brighter than the sun, who would've thought that The Black Mage would be so kind-hearted
*Sigh*
"Very well, Zeref. I will look after Natsu Dragneel. I will do my utmost to protect him and this I promise by the pride of a dragon" Igneel agreed and flew away taking Natsu.
"Goodbye Natsu, your Onii-chan will see you again when you probably kill him. After all, you are the E.N.D my final and my greatest creation from the book of Zeref." Zeref's eyes shed some drops of tear and he went back.
Now my dear valued readers, back to the place where our main character was at.
Irene ran away towards the Inn and the mercenaries saw this as a chance and followed her towards the inn. Alduin saw that and didn't like it one bit, he went towards the Inn but Acnologia stopped him.
"Alduin, If what we heard is correct, that she is the queen of Dragnof, let's see how this plays out. If she is the Queen Of Dragnof, then those mercenaries won't ever work." Acnologia spoke in a serious tone and Alduin agreed. He too heard what she said, but it was quite a shocker.
And as they had thought, the mercenaries burst out of the door ragdolled and Irene was looking at them with a furious and angry expression.
"When you go after a lady, you become gentle at first, but those fucktards straight-up tried to grab her ass. Man who does that." Alduin spoke in a tone like a great sage, but he learned that from "The Way of Harem" book. It gave him all the important information that he needed.
'Yea yea, sure. Oh, great Harem Overlord." Acnologia laughed and mocked at Alduin's words, but inwardly he also nodded, not that he was going to show that pfff. Who the fuck does that.
"YOU SHITHEADS MIND YOUR MANNERS!!! IF I SEE YOU DO THIS ONCE AGAIN I WILL RIP OFF YOUR FUCKING ARMS!! GET THAT?!!" Irene shouted at the mercenaries angrily and slammed the door back as she went in
Alduin laughed at those mercenaries while pointing out to Acnologa who was getting irritated by all the laughing and pointing. Man, he had changed a lot.
"OYE!! YOU FUCKERS!! WHO ARE YOU LAUGHING AT?!!" The leader of the mercenaries shouted furiously,
"AHAHAHAHAHA!! Those retards are even blind now. Can't they see that I'm pointing them out and laughing " Alduin looked like he heard the biggest joke in his life and even started to fall on the ground while laughing.
"YOU-YOU!! I WILL FUCKING KILL YOU!!!" The mercenaries charged towards Alduin and Acnologia madly and Irene was looking at them outside in a worried state.
Alduin did a swift decay slash horizontally not too powerful to instantly kill them but enough to make them suffer while decaying their body slowly.
"RAHAHAHA!!! YOU FUCKERS THINK YOU CAN KILL ME!!" Alduin shouted at the mercenaries who were writhing in pain, the skin was slowly decaying and, the muscles could be seen vividly and the bones were starting to pop out.
"Ahem* that was too much laughter, but still to think that you charged at me without any knowledge of how strong. Weakness DISGUSTS ME, and here you are writhing in pain, showing the world how weak you truly are."
Alduin kicked them which caused the decaying speed to move a bit faster,
"Now you all will die an excruciatingly pathetic and painful death." Alduin then instantly smiled and walked off to the inn with Acnologia.
Acnologia smiled and shook his head, he didn't really get how Alduin's personality could change swiftly like that.
(A/N: With that, I hope you understand that I'm trying to make my main character eccentric and have mood swings. I may not have cleared that out properly)
Irene who was watching the whole show from the window never thought that Alduin who was carefree, easy-going, and a nice person would have such aside, and that was also the first time she saw Acnologia smile? laugh? whatever it was, it was a happy expression.
But the seed of crush on Alduin didn't go away, as she found it something unique, not in a bad way. People mostly have just a single way of living life which can be mundane but Alduin... eh, he was blessed by 9 fuckin gods. For some people, Alduin's behavior can be a turn on and for some people, it can be a turn-off
(A/N: Now calm yourself, I won't be making MC a psychopath who loves killing but those who will come at him, he loves toying, breaking, and making them fall into despair. Now he might.. (pressure on might) love torturing them. So, he won't be a mindless psychopath who loves killing, besides his core magic is Chaos Magic, he obviously can't be a gentle and humble man. I will try to make his character like Loki from Marvel Cinematic Universe)
"What? Did I do something wrong?" Alduin looked at the crowd in a confused expression, the crowd well... lost their mind. He killed someone and is just walking like he did nothing wrong, but hey, who got the guts to actually point it out? The man's body is still there decaying slowly while he is conscious.
*Creak*
When Alduin and Acnologia entered the inn, everyone went silent, there was not a single drop of sound. The people just stared at them, after what he just did it was bound to happen.
"Does this town's people not have anything better to do than stare at people?" Alduin spoke and the whole inn became as lively as it could be. The bard started his songs, the men drank their mugs and the fire started crackling.
Alduin and Acnologia approached the bartender and the bartender looked at them,
"What can I get for you gentlemen?"
"We want 5 servings of meat, 3 mugs of beer, and two rooms." Alduin gave the orders and handed the required gold.
The bartender told the same order to the waiter and started to spark some conversation toward Alduin,
"You did put quite the show their young man. Not every people has the guts and strength to do that. I just hope you are not like those mercenaries there, you did help the town a bit." The bartender tended to his mugs while speaking,
Alduin laughed at the bartender's comment and kept eating until a beautiful woman with chocolatey skin who had black cornrow style hair, a scar engraved on her right eyebrow, a blade with a golden hilt, and a green sword with some iron armor approached Alduin with a wild expression on her face.
She was also a fighting traveler, who lusted after fights and battles. One could read her wild aura like an open book. This woman was also one of the "victims" of the mercenary's harassment, of course, the pathetic meatbags were no match for her.
"I challenge you to one-on-one, hand-to-hand combat. If you win I'll pay for all of your expenses and If I win, I want to spend a night with you." The female warrior told Alduin who was eating,
Alduin focusing on eating shooed her away, but he put some pressure in the shooing, so it released pressured wind which would come blasting towards her face. Her instinct told her to dodge the trajectory in which he was shooing and she just did that.
Her desire to fight with him grew even more. She patiently waited while Alduin finished his meal.
"This man is strong, very very strong. Finish your meal fast you fucking bastard! I wanna go on one on one with you". The woman thought to herself while she sat at a table, her foot was tapping the floor impatiently.
"Who is this woman and why does she want to fight with Alduin. Mmm... I should not have spilled that I'm the Queen Of Dragnof. Ahh! Why is she still here?" Irene's thoughts were all over the place, the topic in her head kept changing like the preferences of a man keep changing when searching porn.
"Well, this bastard has attracted another crazy woman. The girls in our town were way better. Tch, what a drag. I want to see this Dragnof kingdom and find out whether the rumors are true, well we'll be heading towards the kingdom the next day, but it really seems that Irene over there is the Queen of Dragnof, I could just force her to spit it all out, but... Alduin here. AHHH!! FUCK!!!"
Acnologia's thought was also over the top, this caused him to release pressure which shook the cutlery and tables but a sudden hit from Alduin caused him to rationalize his mind and himself.
After a while, Alduin finished eating and looked towards the woman who challenged him,
he smiled towards her and said,
"Well, Miss..."
"Andra, I am Andra, and drop the miss.. it sounds weak and frail."
"Well, aren't you an aggressive one, but why do you challenge me? and what are the stakes again, oh right. You sleep with me. Ahahaha! A good joke, but not a funny one."
"You radiate strong and a powerful aura. I saw what you did to those bastards, and I want to fight you so that I can win against you. I don't think I can but we'll see." Andra showed a feral grin and stood up,
"Whoa..whoa.. calm down. Why would you think I will accept anyways"
"Well, the reward is quite promising and good don't you think? I am beautiful and strong. Don't men lust after those types of women-"
Irene then interrupted Andra
"Alduin is not that type of guy who would lust after women just because of that! If he was like that he would've already had his way with me!!!"
Alduin, Acnologia, and Irene herself were surprised, why did she say that? Why did she interrupt them? This isn't her business and she has no right to interrupt. Alduin looked at her with a surprised face.
Irene's face started to turn red and she ran towards her room and slammed the door. Never did she think the Queen Of Dragnof would say something like that. When that woman put on a seductive face and started to pose like that, her heart started to burn so she instinctively spoke that.
One could hear screams coming from the room Irene went inside.
"Well...damn"
"Now that she is out of the way, let's continue back where we were! As I said, if I win you have your way with me, and if you win, I will pay for your expenses here."
"Isn't that just- How- Why? Aren't I benefitting the most? Whether I lose or win?" Alduin asked her with confusion,
"What do you gain from the fight? Tell me?"
"Ohh~ I gain the exciting adrenaline rush, the experience I desire. Besides, why do you care? Just fight me. I haven't seen a single man winning against me. All the people I fought with were terribly weak or they just declined my offer. So I changed my offer a bit.
"You know. If someone "accidentally" ganged up on you. You would be gang r**pd by them all. So you are lucky that you met me first. Now, do you promise to uphold your promises?" Alduin spoke like a priest,
"YES! LET'S FIGHT ALREADY!"
"Hmm... but the fight has already ended"
Alduin smiled at her..
