Chapter 27: CONCERT WITH SUYIN

"Let me hear the crowd! You sing this with me!"

"Sis I'm wondering, can you actually see Chaoxiang with your shades on?", Lein asked Meixiu after seeing her wearing those dark shaded sun glasses.

"I have to hear and feel him Lein more than just seeing him.", she reasoned out but Lein still finds it weird. "The arena's dim and she's wearing shades?", Lein laughed with her own thoughts.

Because the both of them are in the VIP area, Chaoxiang feels so close to the both of them. He felt so real, as if their dreams are somehow turning into reality. Some of them can even touch his hands. How fortunate are these women?

And because they are very close to him, Meixiu has to do this stuff for him not to see her. She wore a black shaded eyewear, a hood and even a black mask. She is really scared of the thought he'll know she's a fan of him. "How can he be so caring and sweet on stage and a monster when we're at home?" Meixiu keeps her observation to herself for she doesn't want anyone to know how damaging it is to be married with the guy almost every woman adores.

"I would like all of you to meet my ex girlfriend, Yang Suyin."

All of the women in the crowd felt the butterflies in their stomach after he introduced Suyin and kissed her on her cheek. An unexplainable pain suddenly took over Heiran's body after seeing them reunited for the second time. She once thought Chaoxiang's worst betrayal was when he flew to Japan and even had an interview with his ex girlfriend. Then it got worse to the point that he can already call Suyin through her phone number and he can talk to her even if his wife is still around.

She thought that was it but the ex lovers even came to this point, Chaoxiang reveals he had an affair with her and Suyin being able to be kissed by him on her cheek. "She can't even kiss the back of my hand." Meixiu said to herself and even felt jealous.

"Before we broke up, I made her a song. The song was unreleased for a very long time but this single was just released."

"Flowers for Su.", the crowd screamed and Meixiu felt her head's spinning.

"The song was for her? 'Little red roses of June, my flower that blooms?' (lyrics she quoted from the song) Because she was born in June? That's for her?"

Meixiu can't stop herself enumerating all the words from the song. Now it makes sense. The moment Chaoxiang first sang that song, a pair of tears rushed down his eyes even before the song ended. Maybe at that time, he is assuming Suyin was the one singing with him and he can be proud representing her to the public.

At first, Meixiu thought that the song was for his mother since it was well described as if he has been with that persona he is referring for a very long time. It turns out he was referring to Suyin all along. "How I wish he can describe me like that as well. I know my sister isn't pure but he called and treated her like a porcelain with the way he described her. Will he be able to see me as someone valuable too?" Meixiu's tears are now about to escape her eyes as she keeps thinking about it.

"Now can you sing this song with me?", he said and the crowd went wild again.

"Girl, you're a light year away. He's extending his arms to his fans. Go and stretch your arms."

Lein grabbed her and raised her hand in the air, drawing it even closer to Chaoxiang. She keeps on resisting but because Lein is stronger than her, the woman can pull her, push her, rip her, control her, and do everything she wants to do with her.

Suyin is still onstage, snapping along with the beat. Her red dress is swaying with her every move. "Who am I compared to her anyway?" Meixiu said and looked at her casual black pants and a sky blue jacket. She looked away from the stage and stared at the ground. However, Lein is still raising her hand, tossing it in midair.

"Girl, ready? Three two one!"

She looked at the stage again when she noticed she touched her husband's hand. The vibration she felt when they first held each other's hand in Jeju island, she suddenly felt that the moment their fingers intertwined. But her bracelet slipped from her hand so she went down to the ground and searched for it.

"Lein, I feel like throwing up. Can I go home?", she said after she found her bracelet.

"What?"

"Yeah yeah bye.", she said and walked away getting her way through the crowd.

Chaoxiang stopped singing as well. "That was Meixiu's hand. I'm pretty sure it was hers." He scanned the VIP row with his eyes, searching any trace of Meixiu but he just can't find any. He admits he doesn't know his wife that well, but he is really convinced within himself that it was her, it was her soft and long fingers that he just touched.

"May I request the last lady who I just touched to come onstage?", he said.

"She is wearing a diamond ring on her ring finger.", he continued, describing their engagement ring but no one dared to come up.

Everyone was looking for the woman but no one's wearing the said diamond ring. Even Lein doesn't know her friend's wearing that. Chaoxiang shook his head and just said, "Maybe it was just a mistake. The show must go on. Let's go have some fun."

The song dedicated for Suyin ended and it was the last song on his set list. He still wonders who that girl was. "How can her hand be exactly similar with Meixiu's? The long, thin fingers of her." He groaned after thinking and knowing he doesn't make any sense. Meixiu submits herself to him, she follows his orders so how could she be here when he already told her not to intrude with his career?

"Suyin, I'll drive you home."

"Sure sure. Thanks for the free concert. I feel like I'm very special." She said and Chaoxiang just smiled, instructing her to get on his car.
