Chapter 91: Chapter 82: Relationship Adivsors
'So Filvis likes Alise in a romantic way huh?' I thought.
As I thought about this I also gave Lefiya a silent salute.
Since one of her potential future love interests might disappear.
Well that's only if Alise and Filvis get into "that" kind of relationship.
I took a moment to process what Filvis just revealed to us once more, before looking at her again.
The blush on her face having receded some. Even so she's still not looking either Ryuu and I in our eyes.
"Hey Filvis, why did you come to us with this?" I asked her.
When I did so she finally looked up and looked me in my eyes.
"Not to be rude or anything, but couldn't you have talked to your fellow familia members about this?" I asked.
Filvis shook her head. "No, none of them would understand. Since they haven't been in a lover-like relationship." She explained.
"There is Kaguya." Ryuu pointed out.
"I know, but she and Alise are best friends who basically tell each other everything. So I felt if I talked to her about this and then asked her to keep it a secret it might damage their relationship. Which I don't want." Filvis explained. "So when thinking about these feelings and couples I knew personally you two were the only ones that came to mind I could confide in."
Ryuu and I nodded our heads at her explanation.
"Sound reasoning." Ryuu said. "So, what's next? Are you going to confess to Alise?"
Filvis shook her head back and forth. "No. I mean I want to, but..."
"You're scared, right?" I asked.
Filvis gave me a curt nod of confirmation.
Not that I'm suprised.
Confessing your feelings to the person you like is never easy. No matter what age and what world you live in.
Still...
"While I understand your reasoning Filvis I think it's better to handle this sooner rather than later." I told her.
"Why?" She asked.
"I mean, feelings are complicated things. And whether you want to or not they will affect you. Maybe even at the worst times. Like say if you and the others in the Astraea familia are n the dungeon. I'm not saying your weak-willed nor am I saying you are irresponsible. I just think getting an answer sooner rather than later is better in the long run. That way, if you do get shot down at least you can move on without any regrets." I explained. "But again I'm not telling you to confess or anything. I would never do that."
"I see." Filvis said. "Thank you Morax. You as well Ryuu." She said.
"No problem." I spoke.
"Yes, it was no issue at all." Ryuu added.
As soon she did Filvis excused her and left us back to our date.
Which we finished up on a nice note.
Then we went back to the Owl House for some sexy time.
Which we did all night until the next morning.
Not that I'm bragging or anything.
Well, maybe a little.

Lying on my bed in my room I read a book.
As I did so Ryuu layed at the opposite end, her feet resting beside me, as she also read a book.
The two of us simply enjoying each others company.
'I wonder, since when did we start acting like an old-married couple.' I thought.
Well I certainly don't hate it.
Continuing to read my book I was interrupted by a knock on the door.
"Who is it?" I asked.
"It's Ryner. Am Filvis is here and she would like to speak to you both." He explained.
"Sure, send her in." I said.
As I did so my bedroom door opened and Ryner ushered Filivs in, closing it rifght after he did so.
Meanwhile Ryuu and I stopped reading our books and then sat up, turning in Filvis direction.
"So Filvis, you need something from us?" I asked.
"Well..."
*Boom!*
An explosion went off below us right as Filvis was about to talk.
Drawing her short-sword she put herself on guard.
While I simply pinched the bridge of my nose.
"Filvis, put your sword away. Everything is fine." I explained to her.
"But that explosion just now." She protested.
"That came from Echidna's lab." Ryuu explained.
I then went on to elaborate how we built a lab for Echidna in one of the sub-basement rooms of Owl House over two years ago.
Because somehow that masochistic perverted witch obtained one of the rarest developmental abilities there is during her last level up two years ago.
Mystery.
Which allows her to perform miracles and create magic items.
I don't know how it all works, but all I do know is that ever since Echidna obtained that ability she has been experimenting and working with it non-stop.
It's why we built her the lab in the first place, because before she did experiments in her room and they got out of hand.
I mean they still get out of hand, but at least now the damaged is contained with a certain area.
Most of the time.
'Really, that witch needs to learn some more self-control.' I thought.
When I finished the explanation Filvis nodded. "I see."
"Yes." I said. "Also don't worry she's fine. The others are definitely checking on her right now. So, what did you need to see us for?"
"After we talked the other day I made up my mind to confess to Alise." Filivs said.
"Good for you." I said.
"Yes. It takes great courage to do such a thing." Ryuu added.
"Thank you." Filvis spoke. "But well the thing is, I would like your assistance."
"In what way?" I asked.
"I would like you both to help me come up with ideas to help me confess my feelings." Filivs said. "Please." She continued, slightly bowing her head to us.
Ryuu and I shared a look.
"What do you think?" I asked her.
"I think we should assist her." Ryuu spoke. "I mean, you know how Alise can be."
"That I do." I said.
It's not that Alise is dense like a harem protagonist or anything. It's just that she's only sharp when it comes to certain matters, while totally oblivious to other things.
Like if someone has romantic feelings for her.
And I'm not talking about lustful feelings.
Alise can feel when such gazes are directed towards her.
I'm talking about feelings of wanting to be in a proper relationship.
Having known her for many years I've seen Alise completely ignore people with romantic feelings towards her several times.
It actually hurt to watch sometimes.
So unless you tell Alise you like her directly she probably won't get it.
And with Filivs being a part of Alise's familia and being a girl things are even more complicated.
Since I've never seen Alise express interest in girls with a romantic mindset.
Well that's not to say she doesn't have those sort of feelings. But even though we are friends and comrades it's never been a subject we've discussed.
Since that's extremely personal.
Taking a moment Ryuu and I shared a nod.
"Ok Filvis we've decided to help you out." I said.
"Thank you." She said.
Thus Ryuu and I have somehow ended up becoming relationship advisors.
