Chapter 13: National Representative Candidate
As all the girls started whispering to each other, Chifuyu decided to make it stop.
-SILENCE!
-I will make all of you memorize the basics of an IS within 6 months! Until the start of the practical classes, all of you should get used to the basic maneuvers. Understood?
The class went in a very similar way as to the anime, with the green-haired assistant teacher, Maya Yamada, a former IS representative candidate of Japan, giving lessons on rules and what to expect and so on.
If I was to add anything to this class, it that it is very cool.
The way she teaches using a holographic display and a series of gadgets really livened up the atmosphere. Normal schools cannot even come close to the IS academy in those regards. After all, all of this equipment must be very expensive, and using it in normal schools would be very hard. At least, if they were to use it, then it would be in the all-girls schools.
At least, one thing was changed from the anime. And that is Ichika's expression throughout the lesson. In the original, he was in despair for being the only man, but now he only seems confused.
After the first part of morning classes ended, I went to talk with Ichika. Who was also looking at me.
I extended my hand to him and said:
-Nice to meet you, although you already know, I am Miyoshi Seiichi. I hope we can be friends, considering that… You know…
-Don't even start. Sigh, I still don't know what is going on. But that aside, my name is Ichika Orimura, and as you must imagine, the teacher is my sister Chifuyu Orimura. I really hope we can get along well… I don't know what I would do if I was alone.
Although Ichika is dumb for the most part, he is still smarter than most. Alongside that he also has an incredible learning speed, mastering things that most would take months in literally days to weeks. He is also very loyal. But he has an incredible flaw: he has yet to master the true art of gender equality. He might be decisive enough to hit a woman if she wrongs him too much, but he will become a complete pushover if said girl enters his circle of friends.
I have a theory for why that is, but let's leave that for later.
As I and Ichika spoke with each other, a crowd of girls started to form outside of class, they started to giggle and talk with each other as if we weren't even there…
-Hey hey, are those the two-man capable of using IS?
No shit sherlock.
-They look so cute! Even more so the tall one!
She has decent taste.
-Do you think I should go talk with them?
-Don't try to get ahead of us!
-I heard one of them defeated an instructor?
-Wait, really? That 's so cool…
-Hey Ichika? How about we go and take a look around the school?
-I was just about to say that.
Me and Ichika proceeded to walk past the "girl ocean" and go to the rooftop.
-Hey Ichika.
-What is it?
-Do you know about that girl by the widow? I think her name was Houki or something. She was looking at you really seriously there for a moment. Did you do something to her?
-Houki? We are childhood friends! We used to go to the same dojo…
And like that Ichika explained their entire past together and how they stopped meeting a few years ago.
-I think I know why she was angry at you.
-She was angry at me?
-No shit man. Here, I will give you a hint. What was the last thing you said to her?
-Hello?
-No man! Try to remember. Didn't you make a promise to her that day or something six years ago?
The moment Ichika started to use his clogged neurons, a sudden scream followed by flying feet met his face. Thankfully, he avoided it otherwise I would have to bring him to the hospital.
-Wha-What are you discussing?! Said Houki
-Man's talk, don't interfere please. I said
-Houki! What are you doing!
-I am stopping this perverted conversation!
-But why did you kick me?
-Humph!
Ah yes the classic, beat the MC and then blame him. Fascinating.
-It seems you two have a lot to talk about, I will be going then. Oh right, nice to meet you. I am Miyoshi Seiichi.
-Houki.
No second names huh, I guess she still hates her sister…
-Wait! Seiichi, where are you going!? Said Ichika, who was currently with one of my feet on the handrail.

I jumped from the ceiling, around three floors high, perhaps more.
From the perspective of the other two, I was going to get seriously hurt, but I landed with my two feet on the ground with no problem whatsoever.
Waving my hands to them I bolted towards class, as it was almost time for it to start.
-...So, does anyone have any questions?
This subject is the basics of the basics, nothing really complex, boring even.
I spent most of the class toying around with my desk. This desk is incredible. From an interactive interface on top of it to 3D hologram displays of anything the teacher presents on the board, it can connect with the internet and so much more, it's like a high-spec computer.
The teacher then looked at me and Ichika.
Ichika had a look of extreme despair because he didn't understand shit. He lived most of his life under the Spartan-like training of his sister and never really studied anything related to IS in general.
As for me I wasn't really paying attention as my eyes were fixed on a series of texts and numbers flying across the hologram screen on my desk.
Maya's eyes were twitching. She then came to Ichika and asked:
-Orimura-Kun, is there something wrong? If you have any questions just ask okay? After all, I am your teacher. She said with a smile.
-Teacher…
-YES! Just ask!
-I didn't understand anything. Said Ichika nervously.
-Nothing? Does anyone have any questions about this subject? Miyoshi-Kun?
Silence.
I lifted my head and looked at her.
-Isn't it just the basics written on the school guide?
-Indeed! Do you have any questions?
-No Maya-sensei, I already memorized this part of the book.
-That 's great!
Chifuyu then started walking towards Ichika
-Orimura, did you read the mandatory school guidebook?
-Humm… Was it a thick one?
-That one. It was written on it "mandatory read"
-I ended up throwing it away by mistake…
BANG!
Chifuyu slapped her thick book on Ichika's face

-I will send you another one, try to memorize it by the end of the week. Miyoshi-Kun will assist you if you need it. You two are the only boys here, so you should help each other.
-Yes sir! It's better to comply than to be cheeky and suffer the wrath of all her fan-girls
The class continued as always while I toyed with the desk.
After class ended I started to stretch when a sudden shadow was cast on me.
-Would you speak with me for a bit? Said a blonde girl.
-Of course miss, what can I help you with?
-What can you help me with? It should be me helping you!
-... Miss? What do you want from me?
-What a rude answer, shouldn't your attitude be more cordial? It's an honor for you to be able to speak with me after all!
-Sorry miss, but I don't even know who you are…
-HUH! You don't know me, Cecilia Alcott?! The national representative candidate of England and the student who got the highest scores on the admission exam?!
-First, how was I supposed to know your name since I came late for class(I already knew) and second, I was the student with the highest scores since I got full marks on everything.
-Huh? First, you are rude and now a liar? Is that the basis of Japanese man?
To her statement, not only me but Ichika also frowned.
-Here, let's calm down a bit. It's better to show you. I then entered the school system and showed her my files.
-Here, it is full marks on everything including defeating the instructor.
She seemed confused but then recovered. Then Ichika hit her with another ball.
-Hey. What is a national representative candidate?
PFFT! The girls around class fell on the ground once more.
Seriously, what's up with everyone overreacting to everything?
I think this will be my day-to-day life for a while…

For the entire time he spent on the world, he didn't really do much. He just trained and studied.
Now that he has entered the academy, things will start to change. Of course, on they on pace. Remember, it's only the second day.

OHH yeah, there is something more.... I actually made some changes in several chapters. The reason? I actually mistook the protagonist's name for his fathers... so I had to make a change. Also, some people might find it strange why his parents and he don't share the same surname, that will be an explanation for it.
SPOILER-----
Long story short- They just aren't married, so they don't need to share a name, nor do they see it as needed.
As for their son, they just decided on a name and that was it, the same thing for Kona.

What do you think of the story so far? should I increase the speed of how things are progressing or should I just continue with the current speed?
If things continue like this then the first world will most likely end in around 5-10 chaps perhaps more.
