Chapter 54: Chapter 54
The battle with the Republic fleet ended in a total defeat for the Republic with only a small number of ships surrendering or taken by boarding parties. Only a small amount of ships in John's fleet were damaged but the damage was only little but John still had them repaired since he didn't want anything to happen during a battle.
After defeating the fleet John landed troops on the planet's surface to confirm that there weren't any troops on the ground from the Republic.
There were a couple of bases from the Republic on the surface. Some bases surrendered while some wanted to fight. John had acquired thousands of prisoners from the Planet and had them transported to where the other prisoners were located.
John then had the device brought down and the scientists had found a suitable location for the device to be placed.
Once placed the Scientists activated the device and slowly the land around them began to change into a grassy area and trees started to appear. After a while, the device had stopped John thought that it had malfunctioned but the Scientists assured him that it could only terraform a small amount of land at a time.
Hearing that it didn't malfunction John had sighed and thought how when this technology was improved he could make worlds habitable to any species of the Imperium.
Since the device was just a prototype and not fully completed it would take 1 year for the whole world to be completely terraformed.
After observing the device and talking a little with the scientists about the future advancement of the terraforming device John took a shuttle back to the fleet.
John didn't have anything to do at the moment so he went into Confederacy territory to invade some Planets since he wanted to keep himself occupied and practice some more Force powers on his enemies because he knows that there are many ways the force can be used but he would have to discover how to use it.
On Naboo the day after Maul was captured Padme had woken up and was informed of the events that happened the night before. She was lucky that John's soldiers were protecting her since she feared if they weren't then she would probably be dead or captured by Maul.
Now she had to decide what to do with Maul but first, she contacted John to ask him what she should do with Maul.
John had told Padme to keep Maul alive for now since he wanted to see if he could utilize the Mind Control force power to make Maul Loyal to him. So John headed to Naboo to where Maul was being held.
After landing on Naboo John entered the Palace and had Maul brought to him in a secure room. He then ordered the soldiers to hold Maul down who tried to resist and break free but the restraints and the two soldiers holding him down were too much. And he was weak from the fight with the Force user and his arms was cut off so he could only resist with his body.
John approached Maul and place his hand on top of his head and attempted to Mind Control him. During the Mind Control process, John could feel the Pure Hatred that Maul had for John so he eliminated that hatred through the power of the force and replaced it with absolute Loyalty to John and the Imperium.
John could feel the force entering Maul's mind and could sense the Change going through his mind and turn into Loyalty to John.
After a couple more seconds John could feel the pure hatred was gone from Maul and he no longer looked at John with anger on his face.
John then removed his hand from Maul's head and had the soldiers release him from his restraints. The soldiers knew that the Emperor was strong and somebody like Maul wouldn't pose a threat to him or even them since he had no weapon so they didn't hesitate to release Maul.
Once released Maul had his head lowered to the ground showing his devotion to John.
John didn't know exactly how the Mind control worked so he asked the system.
[The Mind control technique is something that the Jedi use but only to manipulate people and never completely control their mind only making them do something. While the technique you used would allow you to completely control the person's mind and make them Loyal to you or change the way a person feels or thinks. The person will listen to every command or order you give to them and never betray you. But just because the person's mind is controlled doesn't mean that their mind is useless as they can still think and make Judgments and decisions and such but their thoughts will never be about betrayal or going against you]
[And since the mind control technique basically establishes a connection between the Host and the person mind controlled the abilities and power of the person mind controlled will improve throughout time and will allow them to become powerful. But those who are not Force-sensitive can not gain more power and unlock the ability to use the force so only people who have a lot of Midi-chlorians and can use the force will be able to improve in the force but those who are powerful in other things like leading and governing can increase their ability to command or their ability to Govern planets and sectors]
Hearing the explanation John thought that he should use this to control powerful people or Siths and make them Loyal to him.
This would allow him to have more Force users who are already trained and they can improve in the Force and he can also have powerful Generals that can improve over time and Governors that will be able to Maintain sectors and much better. And since they are mind-controlled their Loyalty will be unquestioned.
John had told Maul to get up and examine his body. His arms were gone as the Force user had cut them off and his body was a little damaged. The soldier was looking at Maul strangely and wondered why he was acting like that. John had seen the soldiers worried expression and informed them that Maul was completely loyal now so no need to worry.
John then healed Maul restoring all his lost limbs and completely healing his organs. Once Maul had seen this he got on the ground lowering his head and thanking John.
John simply said that he would need Maul in top shape to be able to fight for him. After that John had left with Maul followed by the two soldiers. Since Maul's lightsaber was destroyed John had bought a double-sided purple lightsaber from the system and gave it to Maul. John wondered how Mace would feel when he saw Maul with a purple lightsaber similar to his. He was sure Mace wouldn't be too happy especially since Maul was the one carrying it.
Now that he dealt with Maul John informed Padme of what happened with Maul much her disliking it but one night in the Bed and she lost all objection to it.
John then left with Maul to the Fleet and left to invade the Confederacy worlds.
