Chapter 106: Wraiths and Andromeda
After leaving Proculus and returning to Atlantis, John was attacked by a small Wraith fleet which was quickly destroyed, but something seemed off since the Wraiths were getting more aggressive with their attacks.
But the Wraiths posed no threat to John, so far, so he wouldn't worry, but still he will increase the defenses around Atlantis just in case.
But before he was able to, A massive Wraith fleet of thousands of ships had tracked him back to Atlantis and started attacking the planet.
Within minutes, the entire planet was embroiled in war. Luckily, John had defensive stations set up around the planet, since he was building the Wormhole Gate near the planet. So the fighter's that were docked onto the defensive stations had launched to combat the enemy.
The fighter's numbered in the thousands, but when combined with the Small Royal Fleet, they were winning the battle.
But then suddenly the Wraith fleet had jumped out of the system completely, retreating from the battle.
John was a little bit confused on why they retreated until he thought that they might be testing his defenses or something like that. But he wasn't worried even if they were, since soon the Wormhole gate will be operational, and he will be able to bring his fleet's over to this Galaxy.
He had the builder's come up with an exact timeframe that the gate would be built, and they had informed that it would be built within 2 weeks, so 14 days. 10 of those days would be building the gate, while the remaining 4 would be to make sure that it has enough power to run and that all the systems are fully operational and no problem's are detected.
They would also make sure that the Wormhole actually connects to the other Wormhole, instead of some random place in another universe or Galaxy.

Meanwhile, in the Andromeda Galaxy which is 2.5 million light years away from the Milky Way, the first colonist had arrived and had begun construction of the Nexus which was the massive space station that is designed to anchor the returning arks, process resources, and support colonists before their departure to new worlds.
The Nexus would be similar to the Citadel back in the Milky Way, only instead of it being run by a council it was run by the Director of the Initiative, whose name was Tim Harrison.
He was chosen as the Directer by John because of his abilities and judgment, and would lead the Andromeda initiative into this New galaxy to explore the unknown.
But first they must get thing's set-up, such as building the Nexus, before they start exploring and colonizing habitable planet's.
And since they had extra security due to the presence of the Imperium's destroyer's and soldier's the security of the builders were guaranteed, and any attack would be intercepted.
While this was going on, the Kett had just landed on Aya and have tricked the Angaran's into being friends, while in the future they planned to betray and use them for indoctrination to expand the Kett Empire into the Andromeda Galaxy.
