Chapter 121: Andromeda Fix 4
Both Prince Zinn and Prince Luke was currently orbiting the planet Eos as their ship's did a planetary scan of the planet to find out what was going on on the surface.
While the they were scanning the planet's surface the other crew members on the ship was gathering data on the scourge in order to find a way to better navigate or even create some type of technology to that would allow the scourge to not affect ship's systems.
The scanning of the planet's surface took about an hour before they finally got the data that they needed.
The data showed that the Aliens had lot's of bases on the planet's surface and had a big presence which would make it harder for them to conduct their operations since they are outnumbered at the moment.
But they are Princes of the Imperium being outnumbered is not an excuse to not complete their mission. They were also the son's of the most powerful person that they have ever encountered so losing to some aliens is not an option.
Since the scan's were done Luke and Zinn took their ship's down to the former outpost of the Imitative that has been long abandoned and landed next to it in an opening.
Once they landed they had got dressed in their armor and equipped themselves with their weapons which included their lightsaber and a powerful pistol.
5 people each would go with them outside to explore while around 10 would remain with the ship's to guard them from any unknown people.
Once the preparations was done and all the members were fully armored and had their weapon's and survival kit's they left the ship to explore the planet.
Luke first went to the initiative outpost to see if they could find out what happened while Zinn went towards a signal that they had picked up which was an unknown signal.
Zinn took a small shuttle towards the location of the signal instead of driving the all-terrain planetary assault vehicle that the scout ships had loaded up in their cargo.
While exploring the initiative outpost Luke had met up with some people who were hiding in one of the building's of the outpost.
They claimed to be survivors of the outpost before it got destroyed by the Aliens. Luke told them to go to the scout ship's since they would be getting out of here. And before they left he asked them how to turn the power back on.
One person, an older man had stepped forward and informed Luke of where it was located at, and also warned him that the Kett would come as soon as he starts the power up.
But this didn't scare Luke at all in fact he hoped that they came so that he can see them up close and personal.
He wasn't going to allow them to harass the initiative any longer, now it was their turn to start taking control and stopping the Aliens from halting their progress.
So after being told how to turn the power on Luke had went to the building and attempted to open the doors but they were locked from the inside.
That's when a voice was heard that was coming from inside the building.
"Who are you and what do you want" Asked the voice
"I am Prince Luke of the Initiative now open up so that I can restore power to the outpost" Said Luke. He had thought that these must be some other survivors of the outpost trying to stay alive.
The voice on the other end sighed once they heard this "I see the initiative is now making things up I see trying to claim to be the Prince in order to try and take back control of this base, but unfortunately for you I'm not going to fall for that so you better leave now" Said the voice
Luke was trained to have patience with people but to also be aggressive at times and not let people walk over him.
Now that's not what the person behind the doors was doing since they probably didn't know who truly was behind the door so who can blame them so Luke just left everything to ED.
"ED just override the door's security and open so that we can continue with the mission" Ordered Luke
ED acknowledged and had begun overriding the entire bases security before she opened the doors revealing a surprised human male behind the door who immediately grabbed his weapon and pointed it at Luke.
"I suggest you put that weapon down" Said Luke as he raised his hand telling his team not to shoot this person.
"Are you really prince Luke" Asked the man since right now he could feel a heavy presence in front of him which is something that he only felt when he was standing in front of the Royal Family.
"Yes I am so stop aiming that weapon at me" Said Luke as he made his helmet see through and showed his face to the person.
Once the person seen his face he immediately dropped his weapon and apologized. Luke didn't mind since this person was well within their rights to defend themselves so he just sent him to his ship while he continued on.
Inside the room Luke had found a console that would restore power to the base but he needed to activate some energy generators around the base so he sent 3 people from his team to that while he remained here.
After about 5 minutes all the energy Generators was activated and Luke had started up the outposts power.
This had alerted the nearby Kett who had dispatched 4 transport ships to the outposts to kill or take hostage anybody that was at the outposts.
But unlike before the people that the Kett would face were different and they would soon find that out the hard way.
