Chapter 177: [Hidden Quest Updated!] [The Great Revival!]

"*Cough*… The Obadia Fleet is willing to join the Ark Alliance on a permanent basis, as long as certain conditions are fulfilled.

Besides that, we wish to continue our use of the Full Body Dive Gear.

Our scientists are in love with the game physics and reality, while the others are delighted to explore and find new ways to help themselves outside of the game reality.

Some of our Fighter Class Pilots are improving their skills and abilities marginally, while our engineers have discovered knowledge that's helped them in their field of work."

Commander Sofriya called Esmond after her staff informed her of his calls, but the leader of the Ark Alliance wasn't expecting to hear the Obadia Fleet was willing to join the alliance.

Esmond asked Gabriel to create the right organisational structure for the Ark Alliance during the Necthea Conference, but he never expected to require its need so early in the Tartarus Zone.

"… Please be honest… but is the game the sole reason you're willing to join the Ark Alliance?"

"No.

Actually, it did sway the minds of the scientists for sure.

But the leadership of the fleet understands the Ark Alliance and Atlaesusian Syndicate is the only way for us to survive in the Zone.

I know its wrong to attach ourselves onto your fleet out of desperation but I have to agree with the Obadia Leadership.

The Tartarus Zone is chaotic, and you've somehow entered the space anomaly like it's your second home.

Just the fact you have the time to manage a VR Reality game on your ship servers is beyond any of us from the Obadia Fleet.

But we've found the game has helped our crewmen relieve their stress, while developing their skills and traits.

The efficiency of their work as also increased as a result of playing Stellar Wars.

Even I've found myself on the frontlines, leading a legion of Fighter Class Ships into battle."

"… And what about you, Philippa?"

"Meh…

We've already tied our ship with the Ark Alliance before we entered the Tartarus Zone.

I just hope the Alliance will help me in the future if the time ever comes."

"As long as we know why, the Alliance will be there for its members." Esmond knew Philippa wanted to use the Alliance to retake the Astrok Empire.

Even though it was far ahead in the future, Esmond already planned to help Philippa take the throne from her father.

By then Esmond expected to control the entire Tartarus Zone, which would no doubt play a significant part in the attack.

Leaving Philippa to explain her past when she was ready, Esmond agreed to support the two new permanent members of the Ark Alliance.

The call ended just as Celeste started the makeover of the ships that joined the Ark Alliance.

From emblems on the ships to the armour plating and operational systems, Obadia ships were all changing under the guidance of Carter's Virtual Profile Intelligence team as the crewmen entered the world of Stellar Wars.

Esmond could only laugh at the passionate hardcore gamers who were all enamoured by the complexity of the game.

He asked Gabriel to check the Full Body Dive Gear for any long-term effects on the users because Esmond theorised the equipment could provide better results if it was made from Spiritual Energy infused resources.

Esmond wait to hear from Gabriel, but until then he accepted that the current iteration of the Full Body Dive Gear equipment was fine and safe.

.

"You look exhausted, Essie." Yvetteya said, while lounging on Esmond's couch in his stateroom of the PSS Necthea.

She came over to his office to drink but found herself bartending for Esmond as he asked for refills again and again.

"I think the current Full Body Dive Gear can somehow improve the users physical and mental, body attributes.

For some reason I think I know how to increase the effect, but I don't see any value in creating the equipment for use outside of the Spatial Ark Star World."

"… Why don't you create it and then try it out yourself in the Space Ark?

It'll be safe at the very least and if it works, then people like Kristoff, Zaro and Rian can make the most of this game."

Yvetteya didn't think Esmond would follow her advice at first but after Esmond explained the possible effect of the Spiritual Energy infused resources, she found herself thinking of the future implications of the technology.

Esmond left her alone to think over her new deep thoughts while he stumbled across Zaro on the way to the bridge deck.

.

"Wait…!

The Atlaesusian Syndicate has been employed by the Vucope government?

How the hell did this happen?!"

"Ohh Essie, you need to calm down and breathe."

"…Bite me.

Now tell me the truth.

Don't you dare bullshit me, Zaro."

"*Sigh* Okay, okay.

Since we started selling fresh produce and meats on Vucope, the government and Mercenary Association kept a close eye on our operations.

They never interfered in our work, so the Syndicate proceeded without any problems.

Our sales generated enough credits that we purchased an old dock to perform our Starship refitting service.

More and more ships have turned to kitchens and Food Printers that we sell and install, so the need for our own dock was important.

However, this attracted the attention of the Merchant Association."

"… What did they offer for the cooperation of the Atlaesusian Syndicate?"

"They asked for our help to create a Starship with a working farm taking up most of the available space.

Apparently, they wanted to create their own flotilla of Starship Farms since the demand for fresh produced increased across the Zone with our appearance.

At this point the spokesperson warned our staff that certain members of the Merchant Association wanted to seize our assets.

I alerted the Mercenary Association immediately, who stepped in and asserted their influence to keep the Merchant Association away.

The spokesperson for the Mercenary Association said the higher ups wanted to remain on the good side of the Ark Alliance.

Executives of the Mercenary Association are appreciative of the work performed by the Ark Alliance and don't want to ruin the cooperative relationship.

Their eyes are on the fresh produce and food printers as well, but they understand it's better for the Association to be friends.

The executives are waiting out to see the possible long-term benefits, which has been improved by the sale of material resources." Zaro wasn't aware he'd given Esmond another headache to deal with among the pile of crap already on his mind.

"… Let me guess, the Mercenary Association gave the Atlaesusian Syndicate some contract to produce Starships while also paying a decent price to purchase materials in large amounts."

"Pretty much.

The Vucope government gifted the Atlaesusian Syndicate an island roughly 2 million square kilometres.

Furthermore, it's on the equator of the planet and a possible point for a space elevator to be created.

I know the government is trying to tie us to the planet, but we've already decided to create an Arcology city layout around the space elevator dock.

It'll increase the Syndicate's presence on Vucope but the time the space elevator is constructed, the Atlaesusian Syndicate Fleet should arrive to collect the first people moving over to the Star Alazar.

Most of the Zone believes it to be a scam, but since the Syndicate is promoting it nonstop, so the Vucope government and Mercenrary Association are waiting out for the results."

The Atlaesusian Syndicate scientists and engineers designed and created dozens of Heavy Carriers to accommodate the move of millions of people, but they also guessed there would be plenty of people flying their own ships.

So far, 25 million people were ready to take the leap of faith and see if the Star Alcazar truly existed.

The Atlaesusian Syndicate promoted the megastructure as the new future to the space frontier.

Every new citizen of the first wave would receive a home and 1,000 Ark Credits, provided by the Ark Bank.

The greenery and clean atmosphere without chemical population from Starships and mining vessels meant a great deal to people looking for a fresh start.

"Don't accept anything else from the Vucope government and Mercenary Association.

Soon enough they will be hounding us non-stop to join the Star Alcazar.

The megastructure is a feat of engineering that isn't easily replicated.

Star Alcazar will be enough to attract the attention of many different people and organisations, however the moment we release the second Citadel, that's when the Zone will understand we have the capabilities to create more.

That's when the offers of alliance and cooperation will lead to wars across the entire Zone…" Esmond wanted to turn the Zone on its head, since there were too many Champions and Venerable Knights.

He knew better than anyone that it would be near impossible to convince Champions and Venerable Knights to join his Ark Alliance.

Champions could utilise their mental energy whereas Venerable Knights could also activate their body auras without affecting the density of their mental energy strength.

Esmond knew the Venerable Knights of the Tartarus Zone wouldn't easily join his alliance without fighting for the top position.

They weren't people who easily gave up their desire to rule or control others since their personality influenced the mental and body energy.

Because power meant the right to rule in a lawless society, Esmond understood the Venerable Knights and Champions of the Zone would fight for a piece of the Star Alcazar.

In fact, he hoped the community of Venerable Knights and Champions would fight it out for supremacy, only to crumble at the very end by his godly strength.

.

Soon the pair found themselves on the bridge deck with their attention immediately drawn to the display window.

Esmond saw the coordinates in the top right of the display and realised the video feed was from the marble communication and imaging satellites that were sent out earlier on.

From what they could see, the undiscovered planet past the deep blue nebula, had ruins across its surface.

Just by the design of the fading structures, Esmond realised the buildings offered more to him than he first expected.

The System also had something to say after Esmond saw the first fading structures.

.

[Hidden Quest Updated!]

[The Great Revival!]

[10 Great Warring Clans used to rule a particular part of Galactic space.

They held 16 Star Clusters, with each Cluster made up of 24 Star Sectors.

Most Star Sectors were reserved for battlegrounds to be utilised by the Great Warring Clans]

[Their great battles would leave planets destroyed and Star Systems devastated beyond repair at times]

[However, the Great Warring Clans were also known for their life keep and environment-based efforts to restore the regions they destroyed through warfare]

[Their efforts to ensure nature and life prevailed above their need for needless fighting quickly brought about great peace.

Eventually certain parties used the time of peace to gather false evidence to frame the Great Warring Clans for illegal actions]

[Some claimed the Clans broke their own laws and harmed the sanctity of the Clan leadership.

The efforts of the accusers paid off when the Galactic Society Council voted to end the influence of the Great Warring Clans, leading to an all-out eradication of the Clans and their people.

Only a few people survived the onslaught, however their genetic lineage has spread itself far too deeply across the stars…]

[Hosts jobs is to find those genetic lineages and revive the Clans in service of the Host's Empire!]

[!!ATTENTION!!]

[Host has discovered a colony of the Great Warring Clans!]

[Host should make landfall and examine the ruins across the colony planet to discover lost technology of the Great Warring Clans]

..

.

"Holy fuck!!

Celeste, inform the Fleet to prepare several dozen scout teams to check out the ruins.

Also, tell the Elders of the Great Warring Clans that we've discovered an old colony of their people before the Eradication."

Esmond decided to take his position on the bridge deck, leaving behind a stunned and confused Zaro to wonder how Esmond knew about the ruins and their connection to the Great Warring Clans.

Before he had to opportunity to ask, Esmond spoke of the discovery.

"The Great Warring Clans emphasized life and nature above everything else to even create their homes from renewable bio-resources.

As you can see, the buildings are partially destroyed but made intact by the work of nature to bind the buildings in place.

Best thing about this construction concept is the preservation of relics, which in this case, are spread across the planet.

Right now, we are about to endeavour on a mission of discover and growth.

I want everyone focused on the mission.

Draw on the Obadia Fleet and their scouts to help the first team making landfall."
