*Continuing with Esha's POV*
When I thought it really will be big trouble for us, a handsome well-built guy appeared out of nowhere, and not only did he defend the attack from the masked man, he also counter-attack. His name is Solomon East, one of the highest-rank Generals of the nation.
This caused the masked guy to fly off like a blood bag.
When I looked at my surrounding I saw, one after another helpers are appearing in this place.
I finally felt relief and sat on my butt. This masked man solo'ed us. This world is not as easy as we thought. Brutality is reigned by this world.
They recovered everyone's body it is looked like no one got a fatal injury. However, the attacker looked like he wasn't in a good shape himself.
"Tell me who are you? Are you from the ancient race?"
Mr. Solomon asked the masked man. There was no response from the masked man. I guess he is not dead, is he?
"I am not feeling any aura from you. Even dead man has Aura. I am sure you are not a human."
Oh, wait we didn't notice that this guy has no aura in him. Every living big has Aura. Whether they are dead or alive. This was what we were taught by the teachers who teaches us magic. Especially in my unit, the medic core can tell sensing aura whether they are dead or alive.
The masked man wasn't talking. Mr. Solomon went in front of him, he lifted the guy grabbing his hand. the guy was almost 6 feet himself, however, Mr. Solomon was almost seven and a half feet as well as his hand was so long. So so the masked man was hanging when Mr. Solomon lifted him by hand.
"Speak! you villain!"
I do not know what to say. Because it seems like we are the ones who are started to mess around with this guy. If that blabbering stupid guy give him the room to leave I guess this wouldn't have happened.
However, there is no medicine for regret.
There is also a possibility that this guy was from the ancient race the so-called enemy of ours. Because the ancient race has so many variants that this world has yet to identify its nature clearly, that is why sometimes humans fall under their trap. Having no aura may be one of the nature of those variant ancient races.
"I see, you will keep your mouth shut."
Mr. Solomon said.
"Then let me see your face by myself."
He tries to remove the masked man's mask from his face.
"Heh."
Suddenly that guy sneered.
Every one of us got alert by his sound. That guy drop his sword to the ground. Strange, I thought the sword was dropped from his hand when Mr. Solomon counter-attacked him. When did the sword come back on his hand? Did he use his poltergeist ability? No, if it was that, we would have noticed.
Suddenly 2 red and blue-shaped balls appeared on his hand like a magic trick. Mr. Solomon was also alerted by his action and hurriedly let go of his hand. As well as he backs off from the guy.
As soon as the guy dropped, he smashed those two balls. when every one of us took shelter from the explosion we saw blue and red smoke was surrounding that guy or should I said hidden that guy entirely.
When the smoked got clear. We saw nothing but a sword that was dropped by that guy earlier.
Every one of us was dumbfounded. However, we didn't let our guard down. We looked everywhere. That guy may be attacked as soon as we feel safe.
But even after 10 minutes, he didn't appear. When we were about to leave, Maisha spoke,
"Take that sword. It has a strange ability to turn long and short in a second. I bet that guy will return to take this back."
Solomon nodded.
"Good. You are right."
He took the sword with a towel and took it with him.
Every one of us was taken to a car. I, Evan, Maisha, and Saif was still awake.
"Why I am feeling like his attack was all planned?"
Saif asked or commented.
"Why do you think so?"
"That guy wasn't that strong. However, so tricky. He, as if he knows our power, magic, and fighting style. As if it was all planned."
He said and continue after 2 seconds.
"No, he is strong. Because he is strong, he could defeat us."
After hearing him, every one of us was in deep thought. To be honest, I already thought about that... that may be it was all according to that guy's plan. Well, there is another thing.
"But why didn't you fight?"
I asked him.
"You see. That guy was fighting whoever wanted to attack him. He didn't touch until they move against him. As I said, it is as if that guy knows our magic, fighting style, and detail about our strength, so it will be useless if I fight him. I think, he also knew that I won't attack him. The last attack which he used against me as bait to lure Evan."
Saif said something eerie.
"NO WAY! You are just making things up. How could that guy know our power so well? Even if he knew that it won't be that well executed."
Evan said.
"Maybe."
Saif got into a deep thought mood.
Just when we were in front of the royal palace someone shouted,
"What the! Where is the damn sword?"
"I don't know sir, it was just right side of my seat, when I look into another way that sword vanished."
"And what's with that dog? Why it is under your seat?"
"I-I guess it got here when we were busy retrieving the heroes."
"Man you guys are useless. Shame on you."
"Should I take the dog in custody?"
"Are you nut? Now you guys wanted to custody a dog because you lost the masked man sword? Want to become the joke of our nation? Shoo him, I am ordering you shoo him."
Damn it! It looks like the sword was taken by the masked man already.
