Chapter 12: 11 A business deal

Abi was speechless when she heard those words out of Mother Lee's mouth the way she said those words were like that as if she was announcing it.
"Ahem.." Davidson cleared his throat awkwardly and laughed to ease the atmosphere. he knew that his wife won't like the Guan family's daughter who is trying their best to make a marriage deal with the Lees for their only daughter Juana Guan.
"Come here dear sit with me," said Ariana excitedly. Abigail this is Mr and Mrs Guan and their eldest daughter Juana Guan. they are involved in the construction business.
Abi bowed slightly in respect and sat across them with Ariana. Ariana called Koray and asked him to prepare some breakfast for Abi. he nodded and left toward the kitchen.
Seeing Mrs Lee Love toward the girl everyone was stunned. Mrs Lee only pampered her kids like this. Juana who saw Mrs Lee behaving like this couldn't help but be jealous of this intruder. Although the girl was very beautiful with her red hair and those red eyes she looked like a peerless beauty. She tried her best to be in Mrs Lee's good books but she never gave her face. whenever she tried to get close to her she always declined her.
Abi saw that Mrs Lee and Mrs Guan were gossiping about some product and she felt bored just then she heard Mr guan talking about some land and her interest peeked.
"Mr Lee, then what do you think about the deal? that land near west mart is really in our benefit if you are interested in investment."Said Mr Guan excitedly. he had tried so hard for this project.
Davidson Lee went through the content of the file and nodded slightly. "I'll think about it there is no need to rush."
"But..."
"Didn't I say I'll think about it." Davidson cut him in half and said coldly. " Investment is a matter of money and you just hear it. That money can bring you to the sky but also that money can drag you to your grave. As a businessman, I know what to do. So I hope that Mr Guan will respect my decision."
Abigail who was not sitting far away from them raised her brows and took the file that Mr Davidson placed on the table. she went through the content and closed it. she ignored it and start messing with her phone. Seeing her placing the file back Juana sneered 'She is even a pig head who don't understand a little.'
But little does she know that this little pig head had the idea of snatching her father's big project away.
The land she read about is under Albert Sapphire's name. The land is private property and even is quite expensive because of the location. A random company can't buy it.
Abi walked toward the dining area when Koray carried her breakfast out. she ate her meal and saw the guests leaving. she finished her meal and wrote a thank-you note to Koray. she left the table and went toward the garden. Mr Lee saw her walking in the garden and he walked toward her.
"You should rest more," said Mr Lee.
"it's boring to be alone in that room." she typed it and send it to him.
"Ding" Davidson saw the message and smiled "indeed it's boring," he said and start walking with her.
Seeing the file in his hand Abi asked him about it.
"Ding"
" if you don't mind Mr Lee can I say something about the project which Mr guan mentioned earlier?" Raising his brows he said "why not say it." then he helped her sit on a chair.
"The location is not bad but if Mr Guan is going to use this land for building another shopping mall then it's useless." She typed it and send it to him. "And more importantly the land is private area Mr Guan can't be able to buy this land so easily. that's why he needed investors before buying it. But if you buy this land directly from Mr Steve it will be beneficial for Lee corporation."
when he saw her massage he raised his brows. indeed he thought the same before when he went through the file. "hmm.. interesting even I thought the same when I went through it but don't you think that Guan's family had already kept their eye on that land it's inappropriate for me to snatch it away."
"I thought Mr Lee is a smart man but..." Abi's words were harsh but she knew that it was a golden chance for the Lee family. "Mr Lee In business there is always a rule first come first take and Mr Guan still had to buy a land he is in short of money. Mr Lee I think you have enough money to took over the land. it's a golden ticket and nobody is gonna miss this chance. Mr Guan is buying this land with a help of another company. if you want to buy the land I can arrange a meeting for you directly with Mr Steve." After sending him the message there was a smug smile on her face which made Mr Lee more interested in her. At first he thought she is just a normal girl but now seeing her cleverness in business, it made him excited to work on her plan.
"But what advantage are you gonna get from this? I mean as a business man I know nothing is free in business not even an advice. so why miss Abigail is helping me." when he said that he saw a strange yet devilish smile on her face.
"A condo and a sports car."
