Chapter 62: Re Ch 61
The Demon Lord turned silent and didn't dare to reply.
Sighing, Jason activated the seal making him grit his teeth in pain while holding his head.
"You two! Show me your treasury." Pointing at Long Sha and Gui Sha, Jason ordered.
Leaving the demon lord in the room, the duo guided Jason respectfully.
The members of the Dark Guild were so shocked to see two of their leaders guiding a young man with such respect, making them curious about his identity.
But no one dared to ask, looking at the glares given by their two leaders.
Long Sha and Gui Sha took him to a basement under the big palace where multiple of formations were placed, guarding a huge treasury.
'Sure enough!...' Jason smiled, looking at it, curious to know what type of treasures they would be holding in this place.
Dispelling the arrays, Long and Gui Sha stood at the side, giving him way.
Jason observed the treasury and took some treasures like defensive artifacts or a few other things that could be useful to him.
After an hour or so, he returned to the Demon Lord's room.
"Do you guys have alchemists?"
"Y-Yes, we have a few..."
Nodding his head, Jason passed several sheets to Long Sha. "These are the elixir formulas you wanted to robe last time when you attacked the Alchemist Association."
"This... this..." Long Sha was dumbfounded, looking at Jason with a funny expression.
Jason had put a seal on them, turning them into slaves with their lives in his hand so he could still take that Jason had robed them, cutting their strength but now Jason gave them the formulas for which they had attacked the Glory City two times. These elixirs could easily raise their strength by a huge margin.
It really made him very puzzled!
Seeing through his thoughts, Jason chuckled. "Even though forced, you guys have become my people so I just can't rob you guys for nothing. For me these things are useless but for you all, it will help you become strong."
Patting Long Sha's shoulder, he continued. "From now on, Dark Guild will not work against the Glory City but for me. And that's why you guys will protect the Glory City from now on in the dark."
Turning from Gui Sha to Demon Lord. "The seals that I applied to you put two restrictions on you all. First, if you guys even think of betraying me, you will feel a soul-tearing pain until your soul will perish. Second, if you plan to attack the Glory City, the seal will put an end to your cultivation paths and you guys will never be able to make any progress ever again even if you will be able to remove the seals in the future. The only way to remove these seals is for me to do it. And If I die somehow then hehe... you will die with me with your souls perishing into nothingness with no hope of rebirth."
Smiling, he said. "Be obedient and I'll give you rewards. And if in the near future, you will be able to defeat me, I'll remove those seals."
Hearing his words until the last sentence caused Demon Lord and his two servants to go into despair with no hope in sight. Their faces twitched hard, and they looked at the devil smiling at them.
The trio cursed him and their luck to the high heaven.
They had not only become slaves but they couldn't even go against the Glory City, now had to protect it instead.
It was like they had been thrown to the depths of Hell from the high heavens.
But the last sentence brought them hope as they released a sigh of relief.
Jason stopped the demon lord's pain and asked. "Now then tell me, do you know about other hidden worlds in the Divine continent?"
"I... M-My..." Demon Lord gritted his teeth, finding it hard to address him with respect.
"Just call me 'Hades'!" Jason waved his hand and said. He didn't care about this 'Lord' shit anyway.
"Hades? Like the King of Hell?!" Demon Lord seemed amused. "Well, you're like him to me."
Chuckling to himself, he said. "Well, there are a few more in the Divine Continent. But I am only able to enter two of them. One is the Hell where I got my demon spirit and the other is the Abyss Prison Realm. But aside from that, there is also the Dreamcloud realm which is filled with only humans, governed by the Primal family, descendants of the Primal Chaos Spiritual God. Aside from it, there are also the Abyss, Infernal, and Lava realms. According to ancient records, there are supposed to be 72 subsidiary realms in all."
"Okay." Jason nodded in his head, planning to make a trip to all of them. After all, he still had to search for the Temporal Demon Spirit Book.
"Now, your first mission. Go to the Glory City secretly and assassinate all the traitors. I don't need them. Someone who can betray once can easily do that again. And I don't have so much patience to keep an eye on them." Jason stood up and spoke while stretching his muscles. "I'll take my leave now. But I can still keep an eye on you from any place in the world, remember that?"
"I get it." Demon Lord sighed and replied.
Jason moved slightly and flashed away in front of them, covering miles in an instant, leaving the Dark Guild.
"Now then since it's over, let's get down to business." Jason appeared over the sky of the Blackrock City. Closing his eyes, he released his spiritual sense, covering the entirety of the Nether realm.
Back at the Dark Guild
After Jason left, Demon Lord plopped on the ground, feeling tired from the events that played just now.
"Demon Lord! Please punish us. We're unable to provide any help." Gui Sha and Long Sha bowed down to the Demon Lord.
Demon Lord didn't reply but continued to stare at the empty spot where Jason was just now. Sighing, he waved his hand. "Even if you both have interfered, you will only get beaten. He only used his physical strength yet suppressed me completely. What a monstrous strength!"
Looking at his two trusted aides, he continued. "If he really wanted to deal with us, we all would have been finished. If I didn't make a mistake in my judgment, he had mastered the Law of Space and Time to a very high level."
His eyes flashed with killing intent as he barked. "Teach a lesson to the members who make the report, how can someone like him depend on his face and tricks to attract the daughter of Ye Zong? I think Ye Zong would even be willing to hand over his daughter to him. The Sacred Family massacre is definitely something to have do with him."
"T-Then Demon Lord, what about his teacher Wu Ming?" Gui Sha asked carefully.
Demon Lord snorted. "What do you mean 'his teacher Wu Ming'? He is Wu Ming himself!"
Just by then, he felt a very terrifying soul power passing through him, shaking him to his core.
'Damn! What an abomination! Such powerful soul force, even if I hid using a stealth artifact, I don't think I can escape from it. Nie Li? Hades?... It seems I have made a terrifying existence my enemy.'
Demon Lord cursed his luck for coming across Jason.
