Chapter 20: Samir is a TARGET!
Once Jasper noticed that, he took a screenshot of Samir and started looking his face on google, and ironically, he found his name on Wikipedia as one of the lead team on finding both the vaccine and cure for the COVID-19.
After Jasper read Samir's resume, he got impressed by what Samir had achieved at such a young age, and right after he finished reading his resume, Ryuk shouted from the background "Where are the rapes? The fridge is empty! And what are doing there? You seem too busy for just a daily names and posts writing thing!" Jasper stops reading the news, and turns back to Ryuk, saying "there is something interesting happening! It seems like N took our advice about looking on somewhere else, and he actually found the second death note holder, this quick! I mean hear this (The poor twenty-five years old waitress, out of the bloom she started from running from N's team across the restaurant, then she spoke to him saying "you can never find me! And she jumped off to the street where she died instantly, one of N's team tried to save her, but it was too late, as you can see on the clip, he was screaming for N to help the poor waitress!) and watch this" then Jasper plays the video when Samir was crying and trying his best to save the girl.
Back to N's office.
Right now, N's team is all messed up, except for N they all were feeling low on their desks, N also seemed to be very low, he was sitting on the floor, with his train game, that was turning on circles, that represents their investigation process, and on his right hand's fingers, he had four finger dolls, one of te dolls, looked like Jasper, while the other tree were just three black dolls, without a face.
N was staring at his dolls and the train, he zoned-out while doing so, thinking about how he can put his hands on Liza again, but not put any other life in danger.
So after over twenty-five minutes of thinking he heard Samir talking, he just started talking without notifying them "Alright, our situation with the public is fixed, luckily that waitress looked like a girl that I used to know, because of that I managed to show my grief for losing her, as if she was a close friend of mine, those clips of me will make the world on our side, and not turn against us!" all of the others were just looking at him confused, especially Peter, because he was right next to him when the waitress died, they all just shut, and Nathen spoke "are you telling me that you faked you're anger and sadness earlier?!" Samir was about to start saying something but the question interrupted him, he stood up and started walking slowly in the room, and saying "Alright here is the thing, I felt sad for the waitress's death, I really did, but also I have had many experiences with death, that I got used to it, but I overreacted because if I didn't the media will attack us, and the death note holders will start on recruiting them to control the public opinions, and I believe that we don't need that! So, I decided to make it happen quick!"
By the time Samir finishes speaking, he finds his right foot stopping N's train game from moving forward, and after he sees it by looking down to his feet, N was look at him too with the dolls on his fingers, he didn't say anything but Samir felt that N was suspecting him and he experienced N's presence for the first time ever, N was looking at Samir's eyes with deep concentration, and without blinking.
Samir stepped away from the train game and said "I'm sorry! Any!" That was when N stopped him and started talking while looking at the train game moving "That's a good move Samir, but don't do anything like it again, you could get killed on any moment now, that your full name and picture literally appear on Wikipedia, if you die, it is not my responsibility! Now, I have requested the restaurant for a copy of their recordings from the incident, as well as a record from the other restaurant, to compare the clients and see if we can find her!" then he stands up to keep telling them about his plan but he hears Samir saying "I doubt that they will kill me, I looked so dumb on the clip, and now I'm the people's hero, no one would want to take the people's hero down if they want to become the heroes! So, now where are the recordings?" Sbahacho, on that moment starts laughing, he was with them the whole time and started talking to Jasper "Oh! Boy! This is intense, don't forget that N is also your enemy and I'm surprised how he hasn't captured you yet, I mean you act very suspicious, especially that you have told them how a good actor you are! This is amusing!" and N here after some silence starts talking "Yes! It is time for you all to start checking out each second of the clips, to see if we can find the suspect! You all need to start now!"
In the mean time Xian, was watching the news and not doing anything, after he saw what Liza had done to the waitress, he hated her, and wanted to take her down, so he started doing his investigations too, so he went to the restaurant on the next day, connected his laptop to the café's Wi-Fi network and started hacking their security system, it took him less than five minutes to do so, once he hacked it, he downloaded all the clips from the day before and asked Shido "What will happen if I find this woman, and kill her, how am I supposed to get her death note?" Shido smiles and says "You will be able to get her death note if you write beside her name that she gives it to you before she dies" Xian, while waiting for the files to be fully downloaded and his right knee was shaking, he speaks "But if I meet her, I will take her life by my own hands, so I will make her leave it on some private case in a public place"
Fifteen hours ago, in Juliette's apartment, she gets in and scares TED by the way she enters in while gasping for breath, she just throws her coat and purse on the table then falls on the coach, and Ted asks her "What had happened? Why you seem so terrified? Did anything happen?" Juliette turns her head right to see Ted and starts talking "Alright, I've met N today, and his team, but they were super stupid, I have seen one of his members being taken pictures of, so I will look him up and try to take him down right now, give me a second" then she starts using her laptop, looking for the following titles on google (waitress death on London tonight, detective trying to save a woman, London news tonight) and she finds an article titled THE PEOPLE'S HERO! And she starts reading it.
After reading three paragraphs carefully, she finds on the fourth paragraph, his name SAMIR ******, and she says with excitement, even though she was exhausted "I found you! And you are dead!" then she pulls the death note and starts writing
- SAMIR ******* tomorrow at 7 p.m. will say to his team members this line "I am mistaken for thinking that I can get Liza, she is too hard for us to get" and then he will die by shocking to death in the front of them!"
