Chapter 12: Earth
It took 3 years but i was finally getting close to earth. The absorption of the evil ki crystals was going nice. Though i have realized they are affecting my state of mind. I frequently find myself wanting to destroy things. I just wanted to kill, was this what it was like for other people. Was it possible i could tell because I'm not particular evil, perhaps i would never truly know after all beings like Frieza were basically born evil. So perhaps i would never really know, I found myself constantly upgrading things around the ship and the Cleaning drone is now much closer to an dumb AI than just a drone. I think i would name it Jin, if it ever became an AI. I also found a way to grow ki crystals of various types but the energy required was ridiculous so i left that for later. Perhaps i would grow ki crystals someday, but i would first have to improve the generators on my ship. That required me to land and have access to a large amount of resources. The ship was slowly improving but i could never focus on research long. I had found an easy way to use increase my Ki, but i needed more training. Half way through the years i finally manage to expel ki from my body. The moment i manage to do i was too excited and lost control blowing myself up. The following time training sessions was just me practicing to expel ki reliable.
When i finally could fire ki blast with some easy i wanted to try my hand at some techniques. So i tried my hand at flight for a while. It failed, but i made a different discovery i could create small walls of ki from my feet and hands. How useful it was small, but the idea of having a ki forcefield sounded pretty cool. I named this discover Hardlight Ki, I had a few other names planned for future ideas if the succeed too. My efforts were continuous, and never ending. Problem was i needed to find out what time i was currently in the story. That required going to earth, and with my current abilities meant i would either be decently powerful compared to others or supremely weak in comparison. If it was before the story begins i would be one of the most powerful living creatures on earth, if it was during the Dragon ball and goku's childhood i would be equal in terms of power for most characters even with my higher power level. If it was during DBZ or further i was well and truly fucked.
I saw the earths solar system come into view...
When i saw earth i could only check once more i ran to the console and started typing away. The planet i saw before me was earth. It was a barren wasteland without water and life. I wanted nothing but to go into an absolute rage, but i managed to clam down. This was not the time to go berserk, not the time to lose control and let the evil ki i had go out of control. I sat against the console i was astonished. What had this meant? Earth wasn't a ball of lava, which meant it wasn't in development. Except there was no life so it meant it wasn't in the primordial soup stage either. This meant either i was so far into the future that earth was gone or... This was a failed earth. Tuffles were alive, Earth was lifeless, Empty space... A lot of empty space in the northern region of the universe which should have the Frieza force. No sign of any of the Frieze clan in fact... Tuffles, Dead earth, No Frieza clan...
I got up and summoned the compass, my desire was simple. Where is Planet Vegeta? I got my answer the compass did not react, new question was. Where is Planet Sadala? The compass shifted and pointed into the direction i presume was the saiyan home world. My next question was one, i wasn't sure was possible. I new if i wanted to test it though i would have to go for a long shot. If it changed directions i would learn two things. When i was and more specifically where i was. i had a suspicions and it was time to test it. Where was the God of Destruction Champa? The compass turned to face a new direction. If it truly worked i wasn't sure, could the compass track gods? Could it be some other situation? I wouldn't know until i headed to that direction. I activated the ship. I would need to wait one year. Being killed would be a problem, I would not try to fight Champa. Except simply finding him may make him kill me after all i would be tracking him down to simple confirm if this was universe 6. I can only imagine that he would be pissed. So i need a plan to survive, I would spend this year thinking and writing down everything possible that could help me. I had 3 uses of the compass and had to narrow that list down to 3 options.

ZeOwl before anyone asks, he is in universe 6 but Z doesn't know that. He has suspicions but it nothing can be truly proven to him. He is either very very early in dragon ball or in universe 6 where earth died some how and has to be wished back to life. Before some asks this one too, yes he used it to track champa. Yet, Z doesn't truly know how powerful the compass is why would it be able to track a god of destruction? It begs the question what really is the compass and who went through the trouble to give it to him if its such a powerful object to track gods.
