Curse of Arcipilia
Millions of years ago in the lands of Arcipilia, a goddess descended from heavens for a stroll.
She was the goddess of magic, Lucilia who blessed all the living creatures with power of magic.
She was allowed to go Arcipilia for a stroll by the approval of other gods but only on one condition.
She has to go in her mortal body and was only allowed to be there for a week. She agreed to the condition.
When she reached Arcipilia, all humans had their eyes on her everywhere she went.
Although, Lucilia was in a mortal body.
She still looked beautiful and stunning. All males couldn't look away from her. Their eyes were glued on her. Every actions, every expression of her was engraved in their mind. They were infatuated with her.
Lucilia wasn't feeling comfortable with these gazes. As these people had their eyes filled with lust for her.
Those unkind gazes made her feel anxious, nervous and humiliated. She was a proud goddess who was always respected and admired. But in this mortal body, these males were dreaming of her.
There burning gaze made her feel judged.
Lucilia ignored the gazes and kept strolling to see how humanity has progressed.
She saw how the humans have made better grasp of magic and have started working together with magical creatures.
She was satisfied with this progress.
Finally, it had became 6 days of the goddess coming to Arcipilia for stroll. The goddess Lucilia had visited different towns and learned a lot about humanity.
Today was the final day of her in Arcipilia.
The goddess went to a private room in restaurant and ordered dishes.
As she was eating, she felt sudden dizziness and plopped. She fainted on her table.
Suddenly few men came to check on her from window. Seeing her fainted, they tied her up and sacked her away.
They had drugged her through the food.
The goddess Lucilia who was in mortal body with no magic couldn't do anything. She was knocked out cold.
When she woke up she found herself in an abandoned factory, tied up with bruises all over her body.
The goddess Lucilia felt a burning rage inside of her. She was never treated like this. As a Goddess she had her pride. But today when she came to check up on the humans, she was humiliated like this.
The men who kidnapped her came to check after hearing noises.
They started to talk lewd things to her.
They told her how females have less magic power compared to males and how they need a man to protect themselves. Or else they would end up like her. A plaything.
Then, the goddess snapped.
She broke the seal in her body returning to her divine body.
The weather suddenly turned chaotic. Rain started pouring. An avalanche of hailstones fell from the sky. The dark sky was lit up by merciless lightning strikes. A ruthless tornado came toward the abandoned factory and killed all the men.
Then, the goddess Lucilia levitated on the air and said,
"MALES OF ARCIPILA, I CURSE YOU! I CURSE YOU TO BE NOT ABLE TO PRODUCE MAGIC. FOR MAGIC WAS MY BLESSING, YET YOU HAVE MISUSED IT. ONLY FEW BLESSED MALES WILL BE BORN WITH THE POWER OF MAGIC. WHILE FEMALES I SHOWER YOU WITH MY BLESSINGS OF MAGIC, MAKE THE LAND OF ARCIPILIA A BETTER PLACE NEXT TIME I RETURN. I PLACE MY HOPES ON YOU."
Her voice reverberated all over the land of Arcipilia.
Then, the goddess Lucilia returned back to the heavens.
And this was how the curse started in the land of Arcipilia.
