Chapter 1: Thousand Swords Academy
The birth of males in the following years with the magic power became less and less after the curse. While females increased. Almost all females in the land of Arcipilia had magic power. Only when both father and mother had high level of magic power, their baby boy will have magic power. But males with magic power were less. So, getting a mage husband was harder. And then the council of elders who ruled the Arcipilia made a decision that the male mages will only be allowed to marry the strong female mages and will help to produce more male mages for the future generations.
In the following years, the family who gave birth to a male mage were treated as noble. Starting on every female mage's target was to make a male mage their husband. And to give birth to a more powerful mage baby boy. But millennium has passed with no sign of male mages.
In the present year XXXX
Inside the dorm of the "Thousand Swords Academy", there was a guy giggling to himself while reading a comic.
"Hehehe, lolis are so cute. Ahh, my heart. Hehehe, they are so soft, small and cute."
The guy didn't stop giggling then suddenly,
"Bonk."
His roommate threw a bottle at him.
"Anubis, it's freaking 3 am. Stop giggling like a demon while I am trying to sleep. Your scary giggling makes it millions times harder for me to fall asleep."
Anubis groaned in pain and rubbed his head.
"I'm sorry, Lucas.I didn't mean to wake you up. I was just reading a new comic that I bought yesterday."
Lucas who was laying on the top bunk bed then came down and tried to slap him but Anubis dodged it.
"Stop reading and go to sleep. Did you forget we have a big day tomorrow?"
Anubis then kept his comic under his pillow and looked at Lucas.
"What big day?", he asked clearly in confusion.
"What will I do with this guy?"
Lucas then started shaking him and shouted loudly,
"Tomorrow the head priestess will come to our academy and we will check our magic if we have any. Aren't you excited?! How can you even forget it."
Anubis who was getting shaked constantly by his friend felt dizzy.
"Stop shaking me first."
Lucas stopped shaking and grinned at Anubis.
"I hope I will be tested to positive tomorrow. If I have magic power, lots of girls will come after me. I will have a harem of beautiful ladies. Ahh~"
Lucas exclaimed as his eyes twinkled in hope.
Anubis snorted and started laughing.
"Your face looks like an idiot in love."
Anubis started rolling on the bed while laughing.
Lucas shrugged.
"At least I am not like you who has long hair covering his eyes looking like a hentai protagonist who only like lolis."
Anubis stopped laughing and then jumped on Lucas making them both fall on the ground. Then Anubis started choking Lucas.
"Take that back right now, Lucas. And Lolis are goddess for the millionth time."
Lucas who was getting choked almost couldn't breath. He pinched Anubis hand and shouted in a high pitch voice like a dying horse,
"I-I take that back alright. Now stop, I- I can't breathe."
Anubis finally released Lucas and then flashed a smile for his victory.
Lucas who felt like he was about to die, greedily breathed the air after being released. He took deep breaths and calmed himself.
"Gosh, Anubis. Did you became more stronger again? Are you practicing sword art everyday beside the classes?"
"No, I haven't. Why are you asking?"
Lucas gulped.
"You have become stronger, you monster. I know you tried to choke me as a joke but it almost made unable to breath."
"I swear I didn't meant to do that. Are you alright, Lucas?"
"I know. I am fine now. Let's go to sleep now. We have a big day tomorrow."
"Alright, goodnight Lucas."
"Goodnight Anubis."
Lucas went back to his bed and fell asleep.
While Anubis kept thinking about what happened.
'How did I get stronger? I almost killed Lucas too. I have a bad feeling about this.'
As Anubis was thinking, he fell into a deep slumber.
