Chapter 21: Gifting
"Sister Xue, How long is Jiang Chen going to cultivate? "You must be hungry. Come, everyone cooked something for you." Xue Bing said with a smile as she grabbed Jiang Chen's hand.
Jiang Chen was surprised to see so many dishes.
Jiang Chen tried to eat all the food that the girls cooked. He wanted to be fair like Xue Bing had told him. The girls
look at Jiang Chen with a smile on their faces. They felt happy seeing him eating the food that they made. After that, they finished eating, then Jiang Chen suddenly went back to his room to get the fire-controlling art that he copied from the original book from the land of the gods. The girls were confused by Jiang Chen's actions as he left after eating and went straight back to the room.
Nana had told him that he could not bring any physical objects out of the land of the gods until he reached the Golden Core Realm, because if he did, they would only be shattered by a strong force.
Jiang Chen found it inconvenient because he had to memorize all of the content contained within the technique and copy it when he returned to his body.

Su Qing Wen was stunned when she heard Jiang Chen call her by her name. She was overjoyed because this was the first time she had heard Jiang Chen refer to her in this manner.
Su Shanshan looked at her daughter with a hint of jealousy in her eye, but it was quickly banished with a flick of a second.
Su Qing Wen looked at the book in her hand. She couldn't read the name of the book as it was written in an ancient language, so she asked "Jiang Chen, what is this?"
"That is a fire-controlling art. As you told me before, you know the knowledge of alchemy, but you cannot control your alchemist's fire properly. I hope you like it. " Jiang Chen answered with a smile,
"N... no! How can I accept this valuable? " Su Qing Wen rejected her as she pushed back against Jiang Chen's hands.
What Jiang Chen gave her was indeed valuable because Nana told him that it was a technique that belonged to the alchemist god. But Jiang Chen wanted to give it to her. He wanted to see her happy, even though she had just become his wife.
Upon receiving the book back, Jiang Chen felt sour in his heart. He thought that he might have forced his way close to her.
Jiang Chen showed a sad and awkward smile at the same time, as if he had frozen in his spot but didn't say anything.
Seeing him like this, Xue Bing wanted to interfere, but before she could. Su Qing Wen suddenly apologized, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you like that. I just thought it was really valuable for me to accept it. "
