Chapter 12: The 'Pearl of The Pionner' World Shakes!
"Ahhh!" Ayza cried in pain and Lyte felt like Ayza voice was getting weaker until it became silent, he called out repeatedly but she didn't respond, and wanting to confirm what happened he tried looking at her soul in his sea of consciousness and he quickly found out the problem, the Control Orb thought that Ayza was also a part of Lyte's soul so it recognized her as his and took a part of her soul as well.
The Control Orb didn't stop yet as it kept floating in the air in front of Lyte and shined with purple color, Lyte saw a part of the purple light heading towards his brain and it went directly to his soul and fused together with it, a wonderful feeling flooded him, feeling like he gained a new part he was missing in his body and his soul grew stronger and one time bigger in size but he felt no happiness he was feeling anxious over Ayza's situation he hoped she'd respond to his anxious calls.
The Control Orb did the same action again giving a part of the purple light to Ayza's soul, Lyte was keeping an eye on Ayza's soul and he saw it no longer shined weaker but instead became brighter and twice bigger than it used to be the first time he saw it, he suddenly heard the sweet voice of Ayza but it seemed void of emotions.
"[Core experienced unknown changes!]" it was the same message that she first greeted him with but to Lyte it was good enough, it didn't matter as long as Ayza was still there.

Lyte finally sighed in relief, it looked like because Ayza's whole existence was different from him, she had gained many benefits from merging with the Pearl of The Pioneer, unlike him.
He quickly brought himself back on topic finding the Control Orb no longer in his possession, maybe because he thought about it, the orb showed up out of nowhere and floated in front of him it shined purple, he remembered his Senior Brother talking about this before, he gave a thought and the orb disappeared blending with the space.
Lyte felt the whole space in his control every single tree, flower, grass, even soil, belonged to him and he could control it at will but when he tried
nothing happened it appeared like his control required some time to be figured out, other than this he felt the existence of the many places in the Pearl of The Pioneer world, he gave a thought.
Swish!
He appeared in front of the World of Souls, the area around was full of white fog, the fog was so thick Lyte couldn't see his legs, he felt biting cold all over his body even with his new strength he couldn't help but shiver, but he was determined and he sat down on the cold ground which felt cold yet smooth like glass.
Lyte came here for one reason and that is to cultivate the [Truth Seeker's Spirit Cultivation I] because he remembered his master telling him that cultivating closer to the world of souls would be faster and more efficient, this was the only solution Lyte could think of to help Ayza, which is absorbing soul energy.
Closing his eyes and securing his posture, he started chanting the mantra and quickly found himself immersed inside the sea of consciousness forgetting himself completely he only felt that a cool stream of soul energy slowly gathering around his head as it tightened and slipped by heading straight toward his soul and sure enough a small amount was absorbed into Ayza's soul, Lyte couldn't be any happier he indulged in soul cultivation for the first time, completely focused to the point he didn't feel the biting cold anymore.

After an unknown amount of time Lyte felt his soul growing by 10% its current size, which by no means was small, he stopped because he couldn't handle the biting cold anymore otherwise his body would freeze, he felt a strong headache from the soul energy that kept tightening around his head and the cold that made his body shiver, every muscle felt sore, he checked the progress and timer of Ayza's emergency mode by calling out her name which then displayed in his field of vision a screen, this was like old times before Ayza was fused with his soul and became 'alive', this was the old way to interact with Ayza but since their soul's fused he didn't have to use it.

He felt relieved that his plan worked out because according to Lyte's estimation only a few hours have passed since he started cultivating and the progress jumped up so much, 'I'll go sleep! I can't move a muscle from my body!' thought Lyte to himself as he teleported back inside the bedroom of his villa, this teleportation method was very convenient he just imagined the place and ordered with a thought.
Throwing his body on the bed he fell asleep as soon as he touched the pillow, he was too tired.

Early in the morning Lyte woke up and stretched feeling better, thinking back to what happened yesterday he quickly brought the emergency screen in front of him

He'd slept for 10 hours because of the tiredness of his body and the headache he got yesterday but Lyte couldn't care less his only thought was to hear Ayza's voice again, only those who experienced the feeling of gaining something precious then losing it the next second would understand his misery, anxiousness, and agitation right now.
Not wasting any time, he showered, ate, then teleported to the same spot, and started cultivating again, he only stopped after feeling that his soul reached a point that it could no longer absorb soul energy, gaining another 5%.
He brought the emergency screen and checked the progress.

'Finally, she's almost awake!' Lyte rejoiced, he teleported back to the bedroom and lay down on the bed waiting, the countdown was going slower than it used to, but it was just his impatience and agitation making him imagine that time was going slower.
That 5 minutes became 5 hours, it felt like torture, a torture of the mind and mental health, finally...

Before Lyte could rejoice he felt the whole world of the 'Pearl of The Pioneer' shake and rumble, he thought he was hallucinating for a second but the shaking bed told him it was true, he was dumbfounded by what followed as he heard the voice he'd been waiting to hear for a long time but this time it was different than the way it talked in the past.
