Chapter 9: Killing a commander
For more than 10 minutes, Joe and Joshua fought fiercely and the dust and gravel blew roughly in the winds. Joshua grew stronger and and stronger as he is sublimated in the rich combat experince given, which caused his attacks to be more ferocious. In contrast to, Joe who was supressed over and over again, caused his face to be distorted and his eyes filled with hatred.
"Haa.. haa.. damn bastard," Joe glared at Joshua with bloodshot eyes while he heavily pants with strong murderoud intent. His body had various wounds leaking out blood which caused him to look like a horrible bloody creature. Meanwhile, Joshua's state was simple ats its peak only slightly panting every once in a while.
Joshua had a wide grinned on his face but with most of his crazy laugther was supressed. He has gain substantail benefits from Joe but there is always a limit. Joe strength is not bad and what he can gain his limited which caused him to be disappointed. Therefore with that being said, his eyes flashed witha cold light as he looked on the commander. Since you have become useless its time to send you on the road then the aura around him became more dreadful.
Joshua body began to envelope in dark terrifying black flames and these changes which were occuring caused Joe expression to have a drastic change. However, when wanted to draw som3thing from his waist, Joshua was already before him.
"How can he be so fast," Joe thought witha horrified expression. However, Joshua didn't give him time to think things through as he gripped his throat fiercely.
"Arghh,, le...let..m..me..go, you..bas..tar..d," Joe who had trouble breathing demanded with a fierce expression. Joshua did not even pay attention to what he said, as he lightly said,
"burn."
Terrifying weird and gloomy flames engulfed Joe entirely causing him to scream in agony as he burned to death in a blink of an eye.
"Waste," Joshua distainly said as he watched Joe disappear from the face of the earth. Then glanced at the piece of baton like weapon and slowly took it up.
"Sea stone prism," Joshua thought as his eyes flashed with a black light. Sea stone are rare minerals which can weaken a devil fruit user and causing their ability to be nullified.
"He must have thought he could defeat me with this, thats why a slight ray of hope could be still seen in his eyes." Joshua added as he became more distainful, if its not more wanting to polish his combat effectiveness a little, God knows how many times he would have died.
Then Joshua through those messy thoughts to the back as head as he put away the sea stone baton and went to the navy branch base.
5 days later-
A small warship could be seeing docked near an island with dozens of soldiers marching solemnly around the destroyed area. At different time periods, many soldiers look at the weird black flames in the distance with fear in their eyes. Near a broken building 2 individuals were facing a villagers who constantly moved his hand seemingly like he is explained something in deep fear.
The two individuals with one wearing a gas mask stood before the villager as they constantly asked him questions.
"So your saying a kid with black twist hair, who wielded some black flame power did all of this," asked he the man who wore a navy jacket.
"Ye....yes sir," repiled the villager stuttering .
The 2 glance at each other and navy recruit quickly drew a sketch of the description given.
"Really terrible, " the navy in white jacket said in a low voice as he looked on everything solemnly. He was around 8ft tall, muscular built and had short blue hair. He stood imposing and arrogantly as he showed off the the word justice which was imprinted on his shirt.
Navy Captain (a rank higher than commander) = Carl
Even though what the villager said was somewhat unbelieveable he still has to take words of the villager seriously.. He has not too long arrived at the scene and what he saw was really shocking and disturbing . For a kid who was not more than 15 years old to do this, one has to take this seriously. The air was basically black with a alot of weird blame still burning some flesh and blood that dappened the earth and the destroyed navy base. Carl still could pick up some of what the villager said is true caused even he was affected by the negative thoughts that still roam the air. So he told his men to stay near the ship, while he and the current masked recruit went into the village to ask what happened.
"Does this drawing look any thing like him them asked navy said."
Then both the captain and villager looked at the drawing. The drawing showed that the boy looked extremely young who seems to have a pair of shrap eyes and his hair was faded at the side with the top being in black twist and he seems to be in a dark cloak.
'Ye.. yes that looks like him.."
....
Somewhere in the vast ocean, a normal size boat could be seen drifting in the sea with no sense of direction. On the boat a boy in a dark cloak who had dark brown eyes had a dark and gloomy expression. It was Joshua.
But he seems to be...
...a bit lost.
