Chapter 2: Prologue 2
In another part of the realm, an historian, seer and adviser to the late king stood in his library months after the great loss of the realm.
Brushing off an ancient book in his library, which contained about three thousand books and scrolls from different parts of the realm. Secretly... it was more of a fetish to collect books than a necessity for the historian.
A harsh cough echoed through the empty library as a result of the dusty book he was holding, the old man named Gadius took a seat on his reading table in the left corner of the library opposite the wooden door.
Opening the pages of the book in concentration with the help of the morning sun aiding his poor sight... while searching for a particular page of the book.
Smiling in victory he scanned the page slowly reading out the words with both hand lifted towards the air, surprisingly the old man's voice clashed with the eerily quiet room in a thunderous roar.
A strong wind blasted into the library from the windows twirling in front of the chanting old man in some kind of response to his words with a devastating and deafening noise.
In a flash, silence rang through the library, the already forming tornado decreased slowly on the spot spouting out a screen, with thousands of names written in two columns... a name on the left ,another on the right and they were all written in grey colors except for two names which were in white but started fading slowly immediately Gadius set his eyes on them.
In minutes the two names were cleaned off leaving dusty particles in their wake with a new name written on the left column while the right was empty.
A strange glow emanated from the screen painfully blinding Gadius: in shatters the screen parted, tiny pieces flying all over the room. Gasping in horror he landed on the pieces drawing out blood from his wrinkled skin, but that was not the seer's main concern it was the faded names.
"oh no!!" the man rasped voice trembling terribly.
