He silently asked me, "Are you Rihanna?"
He was so tall, I had to look 90 degrees up to see his face. I whispered yes. He asked me once again "Are you the same girl I am looking for?" in a very frustrated voice.
I said yes loudly, so loudly that even passers-by heard me. Both of us got embarrassed. They thought that the rumours are true and one of them even wished us to stay together.
The next second, he grabbed my hands and took me to the assembly hall. Where all the students gather before for a day start. He took me to the stage and got a mike. And things went like this:
James said, "Attention everyone. I am James. I know many of you people already know me by those rumours, don't you? So today I am here to make some clarification. This girl Rihanna or whatever her name is has nothing to do with me. I don't even know her. I wish no other person would bring out any rumours related to me. This year itself I got transferred to this school and I do have some responsibilities as a school captain. I don't want to get involved in such kind of matters anymore."
I was standing still. My feet were cold . Everybody were looking towards me as if I was badly dumped . Everybody started laughing watching me being like that.
I felt so bad because I never expected this boy would do something like this, unconsciously I took a step back and I got entangled with the mikes wire. I was about to fall but he held my hand so that I won't fall and ..and at the next moment he also saved his mike from falling. As I was shocked to see him helping me, I kept staring at him.
Just after that he left my hand and
...............…I felled 😭😭. I felt like, what crime have I committed in my previous life that I am going through all of this and met this idiot 😔😕😣.
He smirked 😏at me watching me fall and said, "You should watch yourself and get up. Why are you lying on the stage? Everyone is watching."
Watching me cry he once again hold the mike and said, "I have never rejected this girl because she never asked me out. So the case is closed we have nothing to do with each other. I wish you all will stop spreading this and won't bother her as well as me."
He went after that .
Well, what was that?
Did he reject me or hinted me that I should have proposed instead? Ooh god! Why these things happen with me only? Why can't I get a single answer like normal girls get?
But I was really hurt a lot. The way he spoke about me and made such a big fuss about it.
I actually started seeing him differently from what I used to. Well I decided to ignore him since he was so rude to me.
Next day onwards I started to go to school usually on time as I used to go. No 45 min earlier anymore.
But inner me was feeling sad because I wanted to see him badly. But couldn't because he was not into me and whenever we met, he always looked furious and always insulted me.
Joe came to me and said "Hey Rihanna let's forget about whatever happened, let's move on and live like we used to forget him. You have so many good friends and don't forget you are our beauty queen you have lots of options for boys.
Joe asked me in a funny way, well what do you think about me?
