Chapter 7: Party 1

The next day she was standing in front of the mirror after her shower. She saw the mark of bite on her cheek that she hid. Yesterday with concealer, when she went into the washroom to compose herself. When she saw the bite mark again this morning, Eva decided not to go to the office and work from home. Due to two reasons; the first reason, she was not prepared to face him after what happened yesterday and the second one is she has to go to the hotel to check arrangements and everything regarding the party. So, she decided not to go to the office.

On another side, when Aeryn went to the office. He didn't see her. He waited for her arrival. But when she didn't come till 2:30, he asked Emma about her. Why didn't she has come?

"Sorry sir, I forgot to tell you ma'am called me early morning and said she'd not come today she has some urgent work to deal with," Emma replied.

He nodded.

She left.

She won't come today. So, Aeryn also went home. When he reached home, he missed her badly. He had a shower and moved to the bed. On lying bed, he thought about her and exclaimed:

"See you tomorrow at a party, my angel,"

The next day at the party location, everyone was present Mr. Aiden, Mrs. Luna Andrei's, Bella. They were present there as a host and were greeting everyone. Board of directors, share holder's staff everyone was there.

Then Aeryn also came in his navy blue tuxedo with bow tie perfectly fit on his toned body and seemed like his second skin. He wore polished brown shoes. His hair was perfectly set. On his left wrist, he wore Rolex. He was looking like a Greek god in his attire.

Following Aeryn, Gavriel also came. Every woman in this party was drooling over Aeryn. But he didn't give them a single glance. His eyes were looking for someone who was not seeing him at the party. Mr. Andrei greets him and Gavriel and congratulates them on their partnership.

Then they met with many high-class businesses man they all came to this party because of Aeryn. They want to grab this chance of meeting him and propose to him some projects. All of this was too boring. Gavriel left him with an excuse and, Aeryn left with Mr. Andrei's. He also wants to go from there. But Aeryn doesn't want to create an awful impression on her angel's dad. So, he was tolerating him for the sake of his angel.

Gavriel POV;

I was feeling very bored with all of those people. So, I left from there because I knew they were there because of Aeryn. So, I decided to move and have some refreshments.

When I moved towards the refreshment sidebar, I bumped into someone. Who was going to fall, but I caught from the waist. I glanced at the face, and the person closed her eyes. I think she was scared of plummeting. That's why she closed her eyes. But when she realized she didn't fall. She opened her eyes. I skipped my heartbeat. I have never seen such beautiful green eyes and such an innocent face with pure innocence. I tightened my grip on her as if I was scared. If "I lose my grip on her. I will lose her. But due to the impact of my tight grip, her expression changed. She said

"Now it's hurting, leave me, "

and I left her. I don't want to leave. But I don't have any choice.

"Thanks for holding me. I thought I fell to the ground. It'd be an embarrassing moment for me. But you saved me. So, thank you, " She voiced out, and her voice was so sweet like sugar.

"It's all right. It was my mistake. I bumped on you. So I'm sorry," I replied, coming to my senses.

"No, I'm sorry. It's my fault," Her voice Ufff, how can someone be this sweet.

"No, It's my fault. I'm sorry," I replied.

"Fine, it's our fault. No, sorry," She exclaimed in an angelic voice with plump red lips.

"All right," I replied, and my voice was full of amusement,

and she moved to leave. But I stopped her by asking:

"Can I know your name please,"

She exclaimed, "Sure, why not,"

"My name is Bella Andrei's and you,"

"Gavriel Wilson," I voiced out.

She voiced,

"Nice to meet you," and left from there. A whole party I was looking towards her maybe I liked her I don't know what it is. But I like to stare at her, "

Aeryn's POV;

After five more minutes with Mr. Andrei, I left him due to a cell phone call and thanks to my dear father for calling me this time and saving me from boredom. I picked up the call. He said to me that he was not able to come due to some important meeting. I said;

"It's fine. Dad, no problem," and hang up.

I want him to come. So, he can become a friend with Mr. Aiden. It'll help me later. But it's alright If he does not come. Because he also works like us in the office. Despite me and gav. When I returned to the party, I saw gav talking to Bella, my angel's sister. A smirk came to my lips because it's good if they can make a pair.

Everyone was chatting, But my angel was not there till now. It's almost a half-hour past. But she was not there yet. I went to the bar side and took a glass of wine and, gulped down. Then had another glass of wine and turned my side towards the front door from where guests were coming. I fixed my eyes there, swallowing a glass of wine a second time. I was going to turn and take a bottle of beer. I saw a figure appearing on the front door, and a smile came to my lips.
