Chapter 198: Generous donations

Flavius will take care of Lars while I listen to people complaining. It's the King's audience day, and I have to be there as a regent and do what Ignis used to do.

Tonight, another piece of good news reached me. But I didn't spread it yet. It will take time to win this war, so it's better to avoid too many good pieces of information. We have to be careful and patient, even if it's difficult.

I sit on the throne, on my side, and wait for the doors to be open. My back is leaned on the seat, and my shoulders are straight. I place my arms on the armrests and take a deep breath.

Someone will try to convince me to seize power. They will offer to help me make decisions. They will say I shall focus on Lars and let someone else rule in my place.

I will hear all sorts of opinions today. But I won't let any of them get to me. I have my family to protect, and, at this very moment, the only way is to stay here and be unmoving.
