Chapter 2: Chapter 1 Death
Tonight just like any other day, Isaac Pendragon was now driving back to his home on his old 2010 Sedan car on a rainy night despite being one of the wealthiest people in the world due to being a revolutionary scientist leading various breakthroughs in the realm of science as well as discovering multiple mysteries of the world that previously thought of as nothing but a hoax while he was still in his early thirties.
And it was due to his old mindset that this modern era is barbaric and wrong attitudes. Still, for Isaac, he didn't care what most people thought of him as his mindset only consisted of achieving results no matter the sacrifice needed. Such as the thousands of people he had to use to get to where he is now in society, Scheming against others to get more benefits, experimenting on those who were poor to test revolutionary medicine that saved millions, and other such acts that can be considered to make him as an evil and monstrous bastard.
But despite Isaac being both one of the world's most revered and hated by all the many groups in the world who disagree with his actions, Isaac continued to pursue his goal to reach new and even greater heights in science and technology to achieve his dream to one day find a way to bring back someone to life...
Isaac "Sigh... After all this time, dammit, why can't I still find a way to do it? It's already been ten years since then, If only back then... if only and all those people I sacrificed should I really deserve to even achieve my goal... No it's worth it no matter what I will do it I will find a way." Isaac then shrugged his head as he thought of these words that plague his mind.
Suddenly as Isaac was driving through a particularly sharp curve on the road ahead, as he was about to turn, he was suddenly confronted with bright light from a Truck's headlights as he had no time to turn or avoid his car from crashing. In a split second, his eyes saw it; it was already too late as he already crashed with the truck leaving his sedan to tumble over on the side of the road.
And as the car tumbled over, on the side of the road, leaving Isaac, who was inside badly wounded with blood flowing through a large wound from his head, leaving him near death's door, opened his eyes barely as he tried to crawl out of the flipped car.
Isaac, who managed to crawl his torso with his will alone outside the car, in the slight hope to save himself, then saw a man that he remembered years ago, which almost immediately caused his hope to survive to null despite still hoping to find some way to survive, as not to let all his life's effort towards his wish not to be destroyed.
Isaac "You aren't you?" Isaac said these words while squinting through the pain coming from his head and coughing due to an injury Isaac sustained from the crash. As he struggled to raise his head to see an older man who wore a black trenchcoat and seemed to have come from the truck his car had crashed into without a single injury.
??? "So you still remember me huh, I had thought that the great Isaac Pendragon would have already forgotten someone as low as me. especially I am only one of thousands of family members of people you have killed for your own selfish gain."
After hearing the older man's words, Isaac confirmed that he was right in his thoughts on who the older man was and finally said his name with difficulty as Isaac now had slowly become weaker due to the loss of blood.
"So you really are Angela's father Mark right."
Angela was a Girl Isaac knew from years ago when Isaac was researching cures for cancer which Angela was one of the few people in the world back then to have a special constitution to have a body that has a certain resistance to most cancers, which was a beautiful thing for many people who wanted to find a way to cure cancer.
And in that time, Angela, despite having that constitution, had a specially dangerous disease that would almost make sure that she would die except for Isaac's recent at that time's cure of Angela's disease that was one in a million diseases.
But at that time, Isaac found out that Angela had the body he needed to cure cancer that he was leading the project on. And at that time, Isaac had the choice of either saving Angela with the limited cure they had or sacrificed her to save possible millions.
And at the time, Isaac chose the latter, which caused him to be hated by Angela's family as aside from being Angela's doctor, he was also a close friend of hers. When her death was reported to her family, they hated Isaac as they knew he had the cure to help her but didn't.
Which still, as of today, was one of Isaac's largest guilt in sacrificing his close friend for his own goals, so even if her family hated him, he still anonymously helped them out to lighten his self-guilt even though on the outside he acted emphatically to everyone.
As for Isaac, Angela was one of the few people he felt bad for sacrificing due to her being an innocent percent, unlike most of the people he sacrificed being criminals supplied by the government, which he did not feel guilty to sacrifice, helping his experiments in exchange for working for doing some of the government's task that most of the time, was more like their dirty work.
And so as he saw Mark in front of him right now, even if he wanted to, he couldn't ask for help for him or mercy as he knew what Mark thought of it, and he couldn't blame him for trying to kill him.
Mark "Hmm, not saying anything Isaac I thought that you would at least ask for mercy to at least...But...But, WHY AREN'T YOU EVEN ASKING FOR HELP AND SHOWING ME THAT UNCHANGING LOOK LIKE SOMEONE LOOKING DOWN ON ME, DON'T YOU HATE ME FOR TRYING TO KILL YOU JUST NOW, I PLANNED THIS FOR A LONG TIME TO SEE YOU IN DESPAIR AND REGRET FOR KILLING HER BUT NOTHING!." as Mark said this, Isaac saw the older man drop down on his knees as he showed both anger and sorrow as he shouted in anger at me for still looking as empathic I had been for most of my life.
As I saw the older man on his knees, he just looked at him with his face with blood as he felt his life slowly disappearing from his grasps, despite himself wanting to survive not to let all of his work disappear, as well as feeling slightly regretful of what he caused to the older man breaking down in front of him.
And as Isaac was looking at the older man with his last breath, he suddenly saw a shadowy figure suddenly appeared behind the older man's back. This shadowy figure suddenly seemed to go inside the older man's body, leaving Isaac, a man of science, to be baffled as he didn't believe his own eyes as he then suddenly saw the older man suddenly rise quickly that shouldn't be possible at his age with glowing red eyes as he heard a different deep voice from Mark's body saying to himself.
Mark(???)" Isaac Pendragon, in this world, you are far too dangerous to be left alive, and although you have done various positive things in your life, goodbye and I hope to see you live your next life as average possible or else..."
And as Isaac was still baffled by the sudden events happening of Mark suddenly seemed to be possessed and being told to be dangerous by whatever Mark was possessed by, he was then shot straight in his head as he died instantly.

Isaac "Huh where am I?"
As I opened my eyes suddenly, I found myself in a completely white room with nothing but a single table with an extremely ordinary-looking Man with one unique feature, which is the halo above his head as well as the folded wings sprouting from his back, seemingly expecting me to arrive as he said.
"Welcome to the Afterlife Mr. Pendragon we've been expecting you to arrive."
