Chapter 2: Escape

Kaz and the rest of the villagers are being dragged out of their village and they were forced to sit down and watch as the women are being r##ed and watch the older folks of the village being beheaded.

The soilders are trying to weaken the captives Morale. But for Kaz this was the opposite, it only fueled his rage. But one person he especially wanted to kill. Was the man who killed his family.

A younger solider ran towards the man who Kaz was after. The boy then began to say something, but Kaz couldn't make it out until he finally heard something he could make out. It was the man's name 'Captain Aseus'.

"I'll remember you, bastard." Kaz said quietly.

The captives were forced up but Kaz faltered to get up his legs were still hurting from the stab wounds. The soilders around him got angry at Kaz and started kicking him, while shouting 'Get Up!'.

Kaz finally push through the pain and stood up. He limped with the other captives where the soilders were taking them. They traveled for hours without stop until they went into the woods for the night to set up camp.

Kaz hatched a plan in his head decided to act on it. He looked around and walk towards a guard.

He asked, "Can I let out a leak?"

"Yeah, but to make sure you don't do anything funny I'm going with you." The guard answered.

They walked into the darkness a little and Kaz went behind a tree. He turned to the guard and then he quickly jabbed him in the throat with four of his fingers. His nails dug into the guards skin then glided through his neck.

Kaz stood there with most of his hand in the throat of the guard. Kaz then grabbed something and yanked it out. Kaz ripped out his wind pipe, killing the man.

Kaz then rips off the guard's armour and put it on him. Kaz only knew how to put on the shin pads and the chest piece. He bended down to the guard's side and took off his short sword.

Kaz also grabbed his sheild. Kaz then grabs the guard's shirt and ripped it off and tied it to his legs keeping pressure on his wound to stop the bleeding.

Kaz struggled to limp into the darkness escaping the grasp of his captors.
