Chapter 8: Little Rumi
"You! Fight me!" said a little girl in front of me while pointing her finger at me.
"Why?" I asked her while I pointed my finger at myself with a questioning look.
"My Dad said that uncle is the strongest in this world! So I will defeat you!" said the girl with a crazy smile on her face.
"Well, that's troublesome. I already know you since you were born. How could you even bring yourself to hit me?"
After my words, she looked a bit reluctant. I never thought I would see the famous Rabbit Hero with such a face. Maybe because she is still young and her personality is still not on the level of her twenty-six-year-old counterpart.
Yes, in front of me stands the well-known Rumi Usagiyama. The number 5 hero in the future rankings of japan and the only woman in the top ten.
She is like I thought, the daughter of Azumi and Sora.
They would visit me from time to time as Rumi was still young, and I come to befriend her.
She is almost like her manga self. Always smiling and looking for adventure and strong enemy's that she can fight.
She almost hit every kid in her school. I laughed about it while her mother gave me a stare.
I also gave her a bracelet that shields her from dangerous things.
I wouldn't want such an adorable rabbit to get in danger.
Of course, she will only be shielded from life-threatening things, or she would pout at me for ruining her fights.
I wouldn't want that cute little thing to hate me.
She is now ten years old and already resembles her manga version a bit.
Rumi has dark skin, shining red eyes which are tilted slightly inwards, long eyelashes, and straight white hair reaching down to her neck.
She has a pair of long white rabbit ears with a slight crook pointing upwards on her head. Also, unlike her mother, she has a white round tail.
Overall she resembles a rabbit. Of course, a cute rabbit.
The only thing that is still lacking is her height and the length of her hair. After that, she would probably look exactly the same as her manga version.

If you didn't already notice, I was a fan of her in the manga.
Even if she hadn't enough screen time, in my opinion, she was one of the best heroes. Hopefully, she will end the same.
Of course, even if the future didn't change because of me and she looses an arm, I would probably instantly heal her. But there is no way she would lose her arm when I am here.
Did I just accidentally use the line of All Might? Sorry for that.
"I don't care. Let's fight, and if I win, you will do what I will say!" Rumi said with a loud, confident tone.
There is sadly no way I would ever lose against her. Her chance against All Might would be higher than against me.
"Okay. Let's go to the backyard for that." I answered while starting to walk to the forest.
We arrived in a small quiet part of the forest, and she stretched before smiling at me.
"Alright, don't hold back and fight me!" Rumi said with a crazy smile on her face.
She is one of these battle maniacs that have fun while fighting. I also didn't dislike fighting in a spar, but a death fight is another thing. If I have to, I will fight, but having fun in death battles is a bit too much for me.
While I thought about that, Rumi started to sprint at me. I just looked at her and dodged to the side in a quick step. She looked a bit surprised because she couldn't even see my movement but didn't get discouraged. With quick steps, she jumped against a tree and tried to get me with that move.
I simply dodged again, which repeated itself until she was so exhausted that she could collapse any second now.
It should be considered that she is still ten years old. There is no way that she would have any technique that isn't just rushing at me and trying to hit me.
Still, at the end of the battle, she got a lot faster.
She is highly talented in fighting, and I already checked it, but also pretty talented in cultivation. Of course, not on the same level as me, but still pretty good.
"Well, that is already it," I said to her.
"Wait. You didn't even attack once. Don't belittle me!" Rumi said with an angry face.
She seems a bit mad. She thought I belittle her?
Okay, let's do that.
I pointed my finger in the direction of some trees and released a bit of my qi.
She instantly was shocked and began to tremble on the spot. It seems like her Rabbit instincts warned her of impending danger.
I let loose the power and eradicated almost 200 meters of the forest in a straight line.
"That is not even a 1/1000 of my power. I can control my power pretty well, but if I by mistake used too much and hurt you, I would never forgive myself." I said to her with a warm smile.
Of course, I could heal her or even revive her, but the pain would be bad anyway. I would never hurt cute things.
I thought while she blushed? Huh, isn't she only ten? It must be her rabbit instincts to get a strong partner.
I actually would like to go out with her in the future, but I would never ask before she reached an actual good age and then only if she agreed.
"Alright. Let's go back to my house." I said with an outstretched hand.
I pulled her up, and we started walking to my house while she fidgets from time to time while looking at me.
Is that normal for a ten-year-old to do such things? Maybe? Well, I don't care.
"So what was it that you would do me do when I lose?" I asked her with raised an eyebrow.
"That is a secret for now. Mother said I should wait. But I didn't want to and thought after I won against you, you would do it even if you don't want!" said Rumi with a slight blush on her face.
What is Azumi teaching her? With that blush on her face, I can only think about bad things, like what the heck, she is only ten.
"Okay. Then ask me again in some years, I guess? If your mother said something like that, it should be the best thing to wait for a bit longer." I said to her.
"Yes! I will definitely do that! Just wait! I will get stronger and beat you to a pulp!"
Why does she want to beat me to a pulp?
