Chapter 4: An Bo
Xian was just....elated!
Just because of a simple task, he gained a S-rank ability.
WTF!! How come can someone gain a S-rank ability, just by running a few kilometres? How ridiculous was this?
Nevertheless, this was the truth.....
Anyways, Xian didn't thought about it, anymore, because it would gain more suspiciousness from the fellow competitors, and even the instructors.
So, he decided, to act more normal and keep his cool.
The ground where the exam was decided was leveled completely, and was somewhat, too big, probably 2x times larger than a normal football ground, I think.....
Also, the amount of teenagers that came there, were enormous, you can just say that 10,000 teenagers or even above, were there.
But, how ironic was that?
Because, only 5,000 out of 10,000 teenagers had abilities and moreover, among those 5,000 teenagers, only 100 will be only selected.
And why not?
The Infinite Phoenix academy was a well-established academy, they were literally the best academy in the J Country, that produced great talents in the Apocalypse.
And, so, was why the elimination rate, was too high!
But, wait!
There were only 4 S-rank, that were produced by the academy and 6 S-rank 'Hunters' in the whole J country.
And, now Xian was also the part of S-rank community, well, I am afraid this was probably the most hilarious and serious incident that happened in one's life!....
After a, couple of few minutes, an elder, who wore a black hat, and a black suit, somewhat Royal, came and stood at the centre of the exam ground and AHEM-ed, which gained a lot of attention of the teenagers towards himself,indeed, even Xian was also interested in this old man.
He had a pair of red eyes, and a few strands of white hair on his bland head. Xian could clearly sense, the power of the old man's 'Ability', probably it was B or A class.
"It's amazing! I can sense his power,literally, sense his power, this is probably because of the 'Senses' in 'Stats', maybe! Anything, this old man is probably not a normal person, uh, it is clear as a day that he is a 'Instructor' in this school. Well, it doesn't matter to me!" Xian was on cloud nine.
The more he thought, the more it made sense to him.
But, for now, he kept silent.....
The old man spoke up, and the moment he did, Xian also turned his head to listen, what he'd to say.
"Dear, boys and girls, welcome to the exam for the admission of our academy, sorry, I forgot to give my introduction — I am An Bo, an instructor at this place. I am an A-rank Hunter. Enough, introductions, let's begin the exam, before that for starters, let me say, this — once you step into the test, you will either pass or fail. Please stay, at your own risk. This was moment, where, out of 10,000, 500, already left the test center out of fear....
How coward of them!....
"Very well! Let's start then!" An Bo clapped his hands appreciating the courage and determination of the left boys and girls.
"Hahaha, these days youngsters are really something. This exam, is divided into 3 parts or rather tests - initial, bottom and final. The initial part consists of testing your ability or abilities, the bottom consists of checking your age, health and physical strength, and the final part, consists of real life experience of fighting with already weakened monsters by forming a team of two. Once anyone, passes these tests, they will be teleported to the registration office, where, they will register, get a 'Hunter certificate', and get a dorm to stay, they will also be getting benifits according to their 'Ranks'. Any questions, so far? Don't feel shy, feel free to ask me. To ask your question, please raise your hand!" The old man asked.
Alas! No one raised their hands, as there were no questions in their mind. But Xian did!...
Xian raised his hand and asked in an utterly serious tone of voice, "Dear, elder, you said, a few moments ago, that, we will pass or fail and the academy will not take any responsibility, right? So, that also means that we can also kill our competitors and you will not care at all, right?"
