Chapter 6: I completed a 'level up', without even lifting a finger!
"What? I have to choose between them, are they even related to my 'Ability'? What the f*ck is this f*cking bastard system thinking?...." Xian non-stop inwardly imprecated slangs and curses to the system, which the system didn't even bothered to reply.
But, well, what he said really made sense though.
Were, they even related to Xian's 'Ability'?
Alas! Xian had to make any decision, so, he, guess, what — he chose the first choice — a slap in the face.
He took a very long breathe and said inwardly, "System, Yes! I chose the first choice!"
It was indeed a good choice!...
The first one would take less time, energy and power than the other two — not only that, it was also fitting for the task the system gave, while the others were not.....
A group of words once again appeared inward Xian's eyes, replacing the previous.

[ ‹‹Counting face-slaps, the host has done after getting the system›› ]
[ «Finished!» ]
[ «Total slaps : 1» ]
[ «Congratulations! The host has finished the 'Level up' task» ]
[ The S-rank skill, 'Channeling' has been leveled up!
«Current Level: 2» | «Former Level: 1»]
Xian was speechless.
Did, he just finished a 'Level up' without doing anything?
How much ridiculous was this?...
"WHAT THE FUCKKKKKK! DID I JUST....I completed a 'level up', without even lifting a finger! Am I dreaming? Is it me or the system is giving me more power — first, a S-rank ability and then, literally, a level-up! What is this fucking, system thinking?" Xian was furious but at the same time, he was happy and confused too.
'But, wait! Did, I actually did a face-slap of anyone? I clearly can't remember, when did I ?' Xian pondered.
But, anyways, he held his composure and came back down to earth....
'System! Stats!' He said inwardly, as he thought of the system...
A bit familiar, set of words appeared out of the space, replacing the previous ones — it was clearly Xian's 'Stats'.

[ «XP to reach another level» ]

[ «Channeling ~ level 2» (S- rank) - ability to take and use the powers of others.]
[ ‹Time limit: 25 (+5) seconds› ]
[ ‹Quantity limit: 1~ 2› ]
[ ‹Rank limit: (A - B - C Rank)› ]
Really, his ability has leveled up...
Xian was happy, in fact, not happy only but convinced that the system was really speaking the truth.
But, countless questions, rose up inside his mind — his status were as same as before, can he level up them too? Was it possible?
Perhaps, yes or perhaps not?.....
And more, importantly, how can he?
Or,
Simply put, was it possible or not?
Was there any chance, even the slightest?
Xian was in his brown study.....
And, of course, there were many other questions of the similar kind too...
Finally, he asked the system, without wasting any more time, in his brown study, ' System, my status are as same as before, can I increase them? Is it possible to be more stronger, just by face-slapping anyone? And, if, yes, please explain?"
And, to Xian's happiness, the system answered...
[ Host, considering your power, currently, you can not. There are some requirements — such as, reaching «Level 5 Power Level» which the host doesn't have. Also, you cannot become stronger by face-slapping anyone, the system allowed the host to 'Level up' because, he was too weak, and a beginner too. Hope the host, understands.]
Xian was not sad....
He'd already anticipated, such a thing would happen....as it happens to the MC with system of any another novel.
But, Xian's questions were just beginning, "System, I understand! Can you care to explain about this 'XP' stuff ?"
And, once again, the system replied...
[ Dear host, XP or experience denotes directly to the host's real life experience, with the system's help, and his progression, the more the XP, the more the experience and vise versa. Currently, the host has '0' XP. Good Luck! ]
" Then, what about, 'Demi-God Core' ?" Xian asked as his curiousity was tweaked to an unworldly level.
But, the very next moment, his curiousity was shattered into small fragments...
[The, host, doesn't have appropriate 'Power Level' to learn this... ]
The system was too straight forward, I think...
Xian sighed....
But, alas!
What more could he do?....
This was the moment, when Xian was submerged inside his own thoughts that a kick landed on his back, making his to fall and kiss the ground itself.
And, who did this.....?
A boy....
He was fairly handsome, he'd olive, moderate and white-brown skin, deep-crimson short hair, vermillion eyes glowing like a mocking fire, white tee with red stripes, with a dragon tattoo on the front....
He said as he mocked Xian at the same time, "Hey, ya, trash! What's ya doin' here? Mud on your face, ya dirty loser, son of a bi*ch...'
