In the study, the chubby Candy was lying in front of the desk while Vincent stood in front of the desk and opened his laptop.

Emily walked in and gently closed the door.

She walked up to Vincent and reached out to hook his arm.

Vincent raised his eyebrows, "What's wrong?"

"I'm not going to study." Emily thought for a moment and said, "I broke our agreement, so... I decided not to study."

Vincent was surprised, "Are you sure?"

Emily nodded, "Yes."

Vincent sat on the chair, pulled Emily into his arms, and whispered, "Just because you broke our agreement?"

Emily shook her head.

Vincent kissed her ear, "Why is it?"

Emily turned around and hugged his neck, "I seem to understand something."

Vincent quietly waited for Emily to finish speaking, waiting for Emily to take the initiative to mention Beverly. However, Emily did not mention Beverly at all.
