Instead of answering, Grey proceeds to look at Gin from head to toe. After scanning him, Grey asked a question.
"Can I be honest with you?" He said in a cautious tone.
Seeing his expression, Gin couldn't help but think. 'Ah. Yes, you're right. It's good to be cautious when a stranger meets you then suddenly asks you to be his teammate. I know where this coming…'
Seeing Gin wearing a fake smile on his face, Grey slightly his lips but his life is on the line here, so he got to give his honest answer.
"Actually… Yes…" Grey bows his head in front of Gin and continued. "I'm sorry but I'm not saying this to hate me but with a physique of yours, even the smallest monsters will just kill or hurt you easily."
He continued. "Another one is, if my safety is good when I team up with you."
Hearing that painful answer, Gin still wears his sad smile even though he is really annoyed. 'Yeah, I know that bastard… I know, but I need you so bad can't you see!'
Gin then thinks that word that Grey had said to him. 'But he is right though… With this body of mine that will fall any moment by just seeing it, It will be really bad for him. but I can't lose my shield here!'
"You're right… you're absolutely right." Gin said while shaking his head. He said that but he is still standing in front of Grey, who is now done bowing, raising his head up.
'No. I'm right you're wrong. I can't lose you here! I need you very much…' Gin said inwardly as he really couldn't give up Grey here.
Grey steps back a little, giving space to Gin. 'Maybe that's too harsh…'
Grey said inwardly but he had to do really that. If anyone would team up just like that, then everyone in this cave would already unite and strive forward at the end. And he is also worried about his safety if he teamed up with Gin, who is thinking something for a moment about what to do.
'Ah shit. Maybe I can beat this guy until he almost collapses… no I will be beaten instead. Think Gin. This big guy named Grey, his Status window, his age, his disposition…hmm?'
Thinking those things, an idea had popped up inside his head looking like he had been enlightened by someone. 'I can use it right?'
He didn't wait anymore and quickly formulate a plan, even though the chances of this being successful are slim. After some time, he arranged what he had to say as he looked at Grey, who is slowly stepping back away from him.
"I don't know if you don't trust me and it is a good thing, Grey." Gin said in a low voice that only Grey could hear.
Hearing Gin speak, Grey stopped before thinking the words he had said. Grey focused his senses on Gin and waited for him to continue.
"I know it's strange for someone to suddenly talk to you, saying to ally yourself to him."
'It is really strange bastard, so listen.'
"I know you don't trust strangers like that… I know that really."
'Of course, me too. But I was lucky to have these eyes.'
"But you know Grey..." Gin smiled sadly before continuing.
"I have this feeling when I see you. I don't know what this is… but I can feel it.

Gin raised his head up and saw Grey watching him with shaky eyes. As he looked. Gin saw that Grey's persona earlier is breaking. He felt Grey's emotions are wavering.
Gin purposely stop speaking, letting Grey digest the things he said to him. Gin knew this so that Grey would get the gist he will be saying.
The distance between the two is 1 meter from each other like they're parting ways with someone in the movies.
Seeing that it's working, Gin decided to continue. "I know now…"
Grey waited for Gin with his heart beating faster. Grey saw Gin's face getting sadder.
"It's a sense of 'comradeship'… yes I think it is that." Gin said, turning his body around away from Gin, walking slowly away from him
The bait had now been set up and the thing he will do now is wait for a certain someone to catch it and bite it.
Gin glanced half of his body and said with a sad smile and tone. "So long… partner."
The word partner had been said out loud. Hearing it, The others in the vicinity look at them like they're in some sort of drama. But all those people are nothing to Gin, as long as he can get Grey.

1 meter. 2 meters. 3 meters….
'Wait, wait, wait! Why is he not chasing me? Does it look fake?' Gin, who slowly walks in a straight line, inwardly said nervously.
He walks in a straight line on purpose because of Grey. So when Grey decided to find him, he will only go straight. What if Gin goes around from everywhere and Grey keeps finding him? Then a moment later he didn't find Gin? He will surely give up.
Gin let out a sigh and was ready to proceed with another plan. 'Ah… I'll start to find someone like Grey, but what time is it now? I don't know if an hour has passed already. Unlucky things keep happening.'

Suddenly, Gin could hear a running footstep that is coming from his back. It was loud and running so fast as a feeling of happiness is slowly entering his body. And, it felt good.

The footsteps are only getting louder, and the more Gin hear it the more he smiled.
'Ahh! Stop! This is too good. HAHAHA. It feels like I've accomplished something!'
"Hyung!" A man said in a loud voice.
'I clearly hear that but 'Hyung'? Well as long as you bite the bait, does it matter?'
Hearing the voice was far away, Gin decided to move slower than before and waited for Grey to come.
"Hyung!"
Finally, Gin stops and removed his smiling lips. He put back his sad appearance before he turned around, facing Grey.
"Ah… hey Grey. Yeah… what is it?"
Saying it, Gin gets his bag at his back and quickly gets water from it. He shows a bottle of water to Grey who is panting heavily.
"Here Grey, drink this. You must be so thirsty because you had just run. Here you can have this water. I have more." Gin said while giving the water.
Grey who is quite surprised, shake his head, instead, he showed the bag he is bringing and pointed at it.
"It's ok hyu- no Gin. I have a question for you." Grey, who is now back at his serious face, asks Gin to answer his question, but Gin could clearly see the tip of Grey's lips in an upward position.
'Yeah… that's it.'
"Sure Grey what is it?" Gin said with a shaky voice which Grey noticed it, but he needed an answer to this. He's so curious about what Gin had told him earlier.
"A-about earlier. What do you mean by c-comrade and you said that you're feeling it?"
Gin tilts his head and with an Ah! He scratches his cheek using his finger before he answered back.
"Ah… that? A-about that… Uhm, it's embarrassing for me to say it, but... okay." Gin breaths for a second and speak what he had planned in mind.
"Just looking at you I think 'this guy is trustworthy, dependent, reliable and a one that can't leave a 'comrade' behind. I cannot just choose who looks like a criminal right? What does this old brother say to you? I have good eyes."
"And I know that even though you didn't feel it now. Someday, I know you will." Then, Gin ends it with a warm smile.
'Come on, fall for it. I know, it's super good.' Gin said inwardly while looking at the serious Grey.
After saying it, the seriousness on Grey's face has now gone, replacing a smiling one.
'Executed.' Gin said inwardly before talking to Grey. "Ah yes… sorry for that thing. I should go now."
"Wait, Hyung!" Grey said with sparkling eyes, quickly stopping Gin from moving. Gin glance back and tilt his head while looking at Grey.
"I'll join your team Hyung! Let's be a comrade together!" He said while getting Gin's hand, shaking it.
Grey continued. "I don't know why but me too Hyung. I can feel now what you're feeling. And I know that you're a nice guy."
'Nice guy, huh. You just listen to my few sweet words and now we're comrades. It's good that you didn't team up with someone else Grey, what if someone asks you before I do.' Gin stopped for a moment before continuing.
'Well if a situation happened, be a sacrifice for me, Grey. Wait, that's your job right now too though. if something bad happened… that is. pft.'
Gin let out a soft chuckle and Grey followed too. The two then began to talk about various things while moving side by side.
"So Hyung do you want to know my stats because we're partners now. You can just accept my permission then ta-da it will appear to you. It's okay for you not to show your stats to me because I'm the one who rejected it—"
The problem is Grey is a talkative person.
'Ugh… how annoying.' Gin put a stop to Grey, who continued talking nonstop, not ending in any moment.

Grey keeps nodding, listening carefully at Gin, who is only spouting nonsense he could think of.

After Gin had done saying it, silence descended at the two He looked at Grey, waiting for his response to it but nothing.
'I didn't do something wrong right?' Gin said inwardly and stopped when he saw Grey smiling at him widely.
"Hyung… I'm glad to… teamed up with you. Really, I think I was lucky. I'm—"

Grey couldn't continue, as a sound of notification echoed in his ears. The same thing could be the same from Gin, who is looking at Grey currently.
The two then looked at each other worriedly before nodding,
