Chapter 1: I transgrimated into my favourite novel

As I opened my eyes, I saw a European-style bedroom with paintings of angels on the wall and silver detailing on the window frame as the bed frame and white wardrobe, although I don't know where I am b know it's not cheap.

I got out of bed and tried to find a mirror. appearance better although it was not ethereal as this appearance I love it, Suddenly I heard a voice asking.

"You may," I answered, I saw a woman walking towards me in what looks like a maid's uniform, she looked like she's in her 20's, she has red hair, black eyes, dull red lip, and pale white skin, she could be a model with her looks.

I wanted to know where I was, so I asked I know it seems stupid, since I could be reported to whoever owns this place and could put myself under suspension and possibly in danger, but I don't have a choice.
"u-um, excuse me but where are we?."

Why does that name sound oddly familiar wait, duke marble, wheatlike skin tone, emerald eyes, and white hair like the moonlight?

I'm screwed of all people, I got translated as the villainess from light in the dark.

Light in the dark was my favorite otome game, I love it playing during my spare time which allowed me to find comfort in my life as a pushover. The game had the stereotypical route of the cute and naive female lead(lily), the commoner with super rare magic, that everyone loved and had everything handed to her and a bunch of handsome men surrounding her 24/7 and which am pretty such they have better things to do, who would do everything for her and I had translated as the villainess in that game"Elizabeth octiva marboul".
Elizabeth marboul was born into dukedom of marble, the second most powerful after the royals of solaria, and the wealthiest family in the country, at her assessment ceremony for magic affinity, it was found she didn't have any affinity, meaning she didn't possess mana equals to no magic. Her father disdain her because she brought disgrace to the family name so she was regarded as good for nothing.
Her brother "Alexander von marboul" was indifferent because Elizabeth didn't pose as a threat to his position as heir to the duke. After all, the most qualified in terms of magic and intelligence would inherit the dukedom regardless of gender, as it is a family of mages but still felt that she didn't deserve to marble and the worst thing was that she got executed.

I spent two weeks in denial and praying to whatever deity I offended and hoping to wake up from this dream.

I hate her so-called family and her so-called friends, although she was arrogant she was talented at embroidery, dancing, and so many other things and kind to people who had helped her, that bastard was praised while he did outrageous things although Elizabeth did some unforgivable things but courting a girl and blatantly showing disrespect to your fiance and treating her trash, and acting all righteous, that is not someone, I would call a good person.
"Too bad such a beautiful talented individual cared for people that didn't know her worth and threw her life away for people who didn't deserve anything from her, anyway it's not like I am one to talk". she said
But I am really curious, if I translated and the real Elizabeth died or if we merged into one or if I have lived as her my whole life and I am just remembering my past life. I don't know but I will do my best and live my best life because it I don't if this opportunity will come around.
It's been two weeks since I have been living as the villainess in light in the dark, I have nothing to do except eat, sleep and drink, which I did enjoy at first but I need something to do.
I never realized how lucky I was to have electronics and so many things to keep me busy, so I decided to sing one of my favorite songs and dance to relieve my boredom.

I followed the family butler who had brown hair and brown eyes as he lead the way to the duke's office, as we walked down the hallway ways I could hear the maids whispering words of mockery towards my way well.

I didn't care as this isn't my first experience hearing words like that, and it's to expect as the servants of the dukedom hated elizabeth because of her arrogance and even though she isn't favored and is regarded as a good for nothing.
I have other things to worry about like not behaving like the original Elizabeth and attracting unwanted attention from the duke, but I doubt he'll notice anything different as he doesn't know the original that well but I still have to keep my guard up.
We arrived at the duke's office and the head butler announced my presence.
"Your Grace, the lady is her". Said the butler

I entered the office and saw a man with lush white short hair that looks snow, cold blood-red eyes that can see right through someone, pale white skin with blemish and bright pink lips, he looks like in his in 30's sitting on a chair with cold and indifferent aura around him, although I hate him he is good looking I have admitted.
"Greetings, your grace".I bowed.
"Mm". He replied while looking down at the documents in his hands not sparing me a glance, although I don't feel anything since I have no familiar feelings for him even so it's common courtesy to respond.
"Y-your grace".
" In five months, you will be starting your first year at the academy for nobles and rare magic users try to make connections with other nobles and get closer to the crown prince".
" Don't make trouble for your brother and don't bring any more shame and disgrace to this family".
Why do feel like an employee given a task by their employer rather than a father talking to his daughter and if I don't fulfill it I will be fired, well then again, he is the cold-blooded duke marboul, and care about Elizabeth.
"I understand, your grace". I bowed

As soon as I was excused I walked as quickly as my leg could carry me and reached my room and collapsed in bed.

I decided I should come with a plan, from the transmigration novels I read, the main characters will try and get closer to the original families and the male leads to survive and live a quiet life or try to stay away but only bring tension to themselves, but ended falling in love with one of the capture target usually the main love interest and replacing the female lead by acting different or like the original, ironic isn't it.
But I hate Elizabeth's family, the male leads and female lead after all none of them are completely innocent, so scrap that plan but I need a plan to survive.

But I need a source of income, power, and influence to back up the aftermath of my plan, the best way to do that is to slowly obtain power through the best way I know money, so I will live the way I want.

That should be enough for my plan of starting a business for now.

But what kind of business do I want to start up, maybe a dessert shop, then a cosmetic shop that but nobles and commoners can afford, like how we have different grades of products in my original world, now where I am going to sell them.
"Marie, how much is a building in the capital ?".

" Find someone to check if there are any story buildings available for sale downtown, tell them to get back to me by today, and don't tell anyone it's me".

From the original, Marie is a maid who doesn't badmouth her master and does her job accordingly and doesn't expose her master's secret, I would like to hire her when I leave because she job oriented and doesn't do more than she is told but I don't trust her just yet.

It's dinner time, I am eating alone as expected, which isn't bad as I can use this time to enjoy my meal in peace and don't have to be worried about the duke watching my every move.
