Chapter 42: Epilogue
The rays of sun pierced through the thin white curtain basking the room in its light.
A beautiful pair of eyes were staring at the face of a man who was utterly handsome. The soft rays of sun were playing with his bit tanned skin and night black hair.
Adonis smiled.
He couldn't help but caress Magnus's hair, slowly caressing his hands down his face and rested his palms on his cheeks.
He leaned in and kissed the most dashing man to ever exist on his lips. As he was about to pull out, he was quickly turned over.
Now a mountain-like body was pressing him from above.
"Magnus."
"Hmmm.
"Ummm...We've got to go. Hah."
Magnus pulled away and now he was hovering over Adonis in all his glory. His hands pinned Adonis on the bed, his bare chest right in front of Adonis with some bruises that Adonis had painted onto it. A certain something was being pressed into his belly. It was quite active and Magnus was panting.
Adonis bit his lips.
He raised his hands and pulled Magnus down, guiding his lips to his own.
Magnus smirked into their kiss.
Holt rolled his eyes 6 feet away from his Duke's bedroom as he turned back.
He saw a maid walking with something and stopped her.
"You guys can go back now. Come back after an hour."
[Hopefully. These people can't keep it to themselves on this big day for their son. Hope they finish soon. We've got to go.]
Magnus extended his hands standing in front of the carriage. Adonis smiled and took it as he got in the carriage. Magnus got in without leaving his hands.
Holt stood as the carriage rider waited for him to get it.
They stared at each other for a while.
Holt understood and spoke,"You seem to be new here. When Duke and Master Adonis are together, no one gets in if they want their life and sanity intact. You won't be able to eat sugar for months. You'll know after a couple of times."
He gave him a sympathetic expression on his face and walked towards another carriage.
The carriage stopped in front of a magnificent building.
Various luxurious looking carriages were lined up.
After getting down, Magnus and Adonis walked, hand on hand.
As they walked, people unconsciously cleared the way for them to walk as they stared at the couple coming towards them.
One had a neural face like it was just carved out of mud by the God themselves and another had a dazzling smile on his face like he was a heavenly flower dropped down to earth.
Those two looked utterly beautiful, especially because of how much love surrounded them.
Already smiling, Adonis, while looking at his Duke, had a slightly different smile on his face. It was so differentiable. And anyone could make out the expressions on Magnus's face as he looked at Adonis.
They were the epitome of love.
Both entered the room and sat in their seats.
Adonis looked at the already seated and smiled at them. All of them smiled at him. Today, he was reminded of the time he had first travelled back. So many things had changed, also in the most amazing way.
First of all, all their business had become successful because of the quality products and courteous services they gave.
All of them supported Second Prince Marius who was now husband of their baby sister, Drusilla, who wasn't a baby anymore.
Sister Juno had decided to not get married and everyone respected that. She opened an orphanage and was taking care of everyone well.
Lucia had started traveling a lot with his historian husband from another kingdom. She collected precious antiques from her travels and her auction she did every 2 years was the biggest auction of the Kingdom.
Ozias's Bar was doing well. He had more than 50 bars throughout the Kingdom. He had married a simple girl from the South and they were happy with their twin son.
As for Mila….
"Excuse me, Master Adonis. Could you let me get inside?"
Adonis nodded at Holt.
He went and sat beside Mila.
"You're late."
Mila said with a poker face.
"I'm sorry, my love. Here."
He took out a bouquet full of sunflowers and gave it to her with the most stupid smile of his face. He looked adorable.
Mila looked at the bouquet and the man with a silly smile.
He couldn't help smiling.
She took the bouquet. The man extended his cheeks towards her and she kissed it.
They held and looked towards the stage.
Yes, Mila and Holt were married and had a daughter too.
"Babe, it's about to start. Rufus came."
Magnus's voice brought Adonis's attention to the present.
He squeezed his hands and looked at the stage.
Rufus was now the Principal of Royal academy.
Two years ago, after the sudden demise of the previous principal, he was chosen as the new principal.
And today the Royal family were awarding Knights who had contributed to the Kingdom.
Rufus named the Knights one by one and the King and Queen awarded them personally.
"Now I'd like to call the group of Knights who have contributed the most to the Kingdom starting from protecting the Citizens of North from the monster invasion to rescuing the citizens out of enemy Kingdom's grasp, no matter how much we praise them, it's less. Not to forget, they're in their early 20s. I'd like to invite the Bloodworth Silver Knights, along with their leader who's called the Knight of Knights, Osiris Bloodworth."
The hall started being lively after the announcement. People were anticipating the arrival of the Bloodworth Knights.
The big door opened and a group of Knights wearing Bloodworth Knights' uniform entered. They were wearing Maroon suits with silver work at the edge of their suits.
Osiris was walking in front of them all. His suit had more exquisite silverwork on it. He was almost the same height and build as Magnus. He was like the moon shining at night. Alluring, confident and beautiful.
Adonis couldn't help tears forming in his eyes.
Magnus and Adonis looked at each other and squeezed the hands they were holding.
His little baby had grown up to become such an amazing man. He couldn't have been more proud.
The baby who cried whenever he had to go somewhere, now he travelled all around the kingdom, protecting the citizens.
He was regarded as the Angel of the Kingdom.
All the Arnall Cousins looked at Osiris proudly.
Osiris went and bent down before the King and Queen to greet them.
Marius and Drusilla looked equally proud.
The Knights went out after receiving the batch and after a while, all were requested to go to the party hall.
Adonis was walking in the room, when he was suddenly lifted from behind.
He knew exactly who had the nerves to do that. Especially when Magnus was beside him.
"Osiris, let me down."
He was put down. But when he turned back, he was greeted with the pouty face of Osiris.
"What happened?"
"Mommy doesn't love me anymore?"
"Why do you say so? I love you so muchhhhhh."
"Why aren't you calling me baby then?"
Adonis smiled at that and caressing his hair, he said,"Mommy loves his baby the most. Always. Forever."
Magnus smiled at the two.
"Mommy, my handsome kiss."
"Bend down, you've grown too tall for mommy to kiss you easily."
"Why bend when mommy can come up?"
Osiris lifted Adonis and he gave a satisfied smile after he was kissed.
"Mommy, Daddy's handsome kiss."
The Adonis who was put down by a man was lifted up by another man.
But this time, red crept up his face when he was lifted up.
Everyone looked at the scene with twinkling eyes.
"Duke, let me down."
"Handsome kiss."
Adonis kissed him quickly and said,"let me down."
He was let down.
Magnus bent down and whispered something in his eyes. After that, Adonis became as red as a tomato.
They bid farewell to everyone and left in urgency.
The moonlight shone into the room, lightening the glistening skin soaked with sweat of two people.
Adonis held on tight to the neck and shoulder of Magnus and he looked down at Magnus's face.
Both panting.
"Hah….why would you say that there?"
"Hmmm."
"Nnggg. People might have heard….ah….. Osiris.."
"No one did."
"Mmnn...Nng…"
Magnus looked at the man on his lap, lips swollen, eyes glistening with tears, sweat dripping down his flawless skin.
"You really do….look…. beautiful while you're looking at me from top…. while on my lap."
"Magnus…ahhh…it's…..it's embarrassing…..Nng…don't say…ah ah.."
"I love you. Forever."
Adonis smiled at the man smiling at him.
"I love you. Forever."
They reached out to kiss the softest kiss, a kiss that felt like confessing the most beautiful love, their love. For each other.
A love where two people have been with each other for more than 10 years but their kiss was still soothing, their heart still melted for each other and they found peace in each other's company.
Because that's what love is.
The more you love, the more you want to love.
More time passes, deeper it gets.
The time difference of people who are and aren't in love seems to be quite different.
For those who aren't in love, days are days, weeks are weeks, months are months and years are years.
For those who are in love, the days with their love, are minutes and the minutes they aren't with their love, are years.
