Chapter 5: Meeting new people
As Jin walked around the edge of the campus he couldn't help but take in just how beautiful the campus looked, the way the trees swayed with the gentle breeze causing a few leaves to fall, it was almost as if it was a painting, with a smile on his face, Jin kept walking around taking in the scenery
After around five more minutes of walking, he came to a decent size tree, where he saw a woman, seeing her, Jin immediately recognized her, her brown hair had a silver-ish-white streak through it, and a green long-sleeve shirt with a black tank/crop top over it, spiked collar/ wristbands, and black jeans
Seeing her, Jin got a little excited as he though
'Sung Jin-woo could probably survive touching her, I hope so at least, cause I know damn well imma try!' Jin thought as he approached the woman, who didn't notice him as she was zoned out listening to music with her headphone
Walking up directly in front of her, causing her to jump a little as she took her headphones off and looked up at Jin who was standing basically over top of her
"..." Jin
"C-can I help ya?" Rogue asked with her southern accent
'shit, I didn't think this through, how am I gonna do this? I mean she a southerner, so she outa be nice enough to hold a convo if someone tries,' Jin thought as Rogue looked at him confused
"....Fuck it, " Jin said leading Rogue to about to say something, but before she could Jin's hand was in front of her face as his pointer finger touched her nose
"Boop," Jin said as he pulled his hand back and nodded in satisfaction as he left the confused Rogue sitting there Baffled
It took a few seconds for her to realize that that strange man managed to touch her and not be affected, thinking about that, she bolted up and after Jin who was about fifty feet away from her by now
"HEY WAIT!!!" Rogue yelled only for Jin to keep walking, leading her to have to catch up with him, which she did
"Hey! What the hell was that?!" Rogue
"You looked lonely, so I thought that maybe you needed a boop," Jin said leading her to tilt her head
"Ya can't just go round touchin' people- that's ain't what's important how'in the hell are you even able to walk after touching me?!" Rogue asked Jin
"Why wouldn't I be able to walk?" Jin said playing stupid
"Ya don't even know someone's powers and you just go 'round poking em?!" Rogue
"...." Jin stopped and looked at her
"Yeah pretty much, you looked bored, so I gave you some entertainment, oh, my name's Jin by the way," Jin said as he stuck his hand out causing Rogue to instinctively go to shake it with her black-gloved hands
"Name's Rogue- Wait damn politeness!" Rogue said as she pulled her hand back away from Jin
"Listen 'ah appreciate the thought of trying to make me less bored or whatever, but my power is really harmful if 'ah come into skin-to-skin contact with someone, you might have a little of a resistance to it, but please, don't do it again, 'ah don't want to hurt ya, 'ah can't control it," Rogue said causing Jin to smile slightly
"Thanks for the concern, buuuuuttttt!" Jin said as he grabbed the side of Rogue's face faster than she could react causing her to jump until she looked into his eyes
"I highly doubt you could harm me, see what I mean? Skin-to-skin contact and I'm fine," Jin
"Uh-'ah...." Rogue was speechless as she didn't even try to pull away from Jin as it had been a while since the last time she felt another person's touch
"Also, your accent is cute, welp! I'll be seeing you!" Jin said as he released her face and walked away leaving her there confused about how to react
Jin walked back into the heart of the campus after his run-in with Rogue, he decided he wanted to feel the thrill of fighting again, so he headed to the Danger room, as he entered a giant robotic arm was sent flying directly at his face
'....' Before Jin could even process what was coming at him, his body already reacted, he jumped over the arm, while in mid-air he grabbed it and threw it at a bot that someone was fighting
Landing on his feet, he looked up and only saw one other person in the room, and if it wasn't for the claws coming from her hands, he probably wouldn't have recognized her
'x-23?' Jin thought, but they were quickly interrupted by her voice
"Shit, my bad, I thought I locked the door, hey, that was a pretty good reaction time, your pretty quick," X-23
"Hmm, thanks? Uhh, my name's Jin, nice to meet you," Jin
"You can call me X-23," X-23 said as Jin looked at her, taking in her features, as he was sure she was doing the same to him, she had long flowing black hair, emerald green eyes, she stood at about 5'6 from what Jin could tell, and from her clothes sticking to her sweaty body, he could also tell that she was pretty toned
"Are you gonna say something? Or just keep checking me out?" X-23 said
"Ah, shit my bad, It's just, you have really pretty eyes," Jin replied causing him to see her react a little, but quickly suppress it, Jin guessed that's what happens when you raised as an assassin
"Whatever, I'm training, you can join if you want, just don't get in the way," X-23 said as she went back to fighting, leading Jin to join in, leading X-23 to keep a keen eye on him
Jin practiced to see if he couldn't control his strength when fighting, he wouldn't want to be fighting a human or someone weak and kill them in one blow, after ripping through about twenty or so robots he finally had gotten the hang of his new strength
