Chapter 25: LET'S PRACTICE.
Imperial City in Newly Wed's apartment at night,
Today as it was already late so Seren and Louis both decided to order takeout food. After eating, Louis was washing dishes and Seren was just scrolling at her phone while sitting on the dining table. As the kitchen and dinning was attached therefore it was easy for one to look at another. Louis who was just about to finish his work remembered something as he said, " Seren as there is only one bed so you can sleep in the bedroom".
Seren still not looking at Louis and scrolling something on her phone replied, " What about you Mr. Edward?".
Louis replied, " I'll just sleep on the couch in the hall. It's okay. I'm fine with it".
Louis thought, ' Of course I'm an gentleman. How can I let her sleep on the couch? I know she must be impressed by me and will say thanks' .
Seren without any emotions replied, " Fine" and just left towards the bedroom.
Louis thought, ' What? Is she just leaving me like that? I know that it was me who said that I'll sleep on the couch but still shouldn't she at least thank me? Just let it be. It was me who said that hence I can't blame her".
After finishing washing dishes Louis slept on the couch and Seren in the bedroom.

Imperial City at Newly Wed's apartment in morning,
Seren woke up early and made breakfast for both of them. Louis too had a shower and came to the dining table after cleaning the house where Seren had just completed her cooking. Soon the food was served and they both started eating.
Louis asked, " Are you going to work Seren?".
Seren replied, " No".
Louis asked, " Then are you staying at home? It's weekend anyway".
Seren replied, " I haven't decided yet".
Louis asked, " What do you mean?".
Seren put her spoon down and said, " I may not be going to hospital but I still have work to do. I'll either do it at my home or somewhere else. Now can Mr. Edward please eat quietly".
Louis fell silent thinking, 'My home? Does she mean that she will be doing her work either at her house or somewhere else?' .
Louis said, " Seren why don't you just do it at our house? ".
Seren replied, " My assistant will also be working with me".
Louis thought for a while as he replied, " Then tell him to come here. You both can work here and you don't even need to tire yourself from travelling".
Seren stopped as she looked at Louis, " Mr. Edward what do you need from me that you are consistently asking me to stay at home?".
Louis replied, " Let's practice".
Seren was going mad from inside from this guy's questions as she thought, ' Practice? This quack... is he a little kid that he has so many question? Can't he just eat quietly?'.
Louis said, " As you said that your assistant will be working with you. Right? So why not practice the drama? Before we meet my family we must at least practice to pretend to be a married couple so that when we are with my family it may seem real".
Seren didn't reply anything and finished her food. Louis thought, 'Did I say something wrong? Is she mad at me?".
She picked up her phone and dialed Kevin's number.
Kevin on the other line said, " Yes Boss?".
Seren said, " We will be doing the work somewhere else. I'll send you the address. Also bring all the files from my office too".
Kevin asked, " Boss are you planning to complete all the files by today?".
Seren replied, " Hmm. We can't waste our time. I have scheduled surgeries tomorrow and if there's an emergency then it would get really busy".
Kevin replied, " Yes boss" and hung up the call.
After the call was ended, Seren picked up her dish and strode towards the kitchen. Louis had also finished his food and washed the dishes. Seren checked the fridge in the kitchen and said, " What would you like to eat for dinner Mr. Edward?".
Louis replied, " Anything's fine with me. I'm not really a picky eater. Just don't add peanuts in the food. I have an allergy to them".
Seren replied, " Okay. Just tell me whenever you will be eating outside so according to that I can prepare the food".
Louis replied, " Normally I don't eat outside. I love homely food. Even when I was abroad I rarely went out for dinner".
Seren asked, " Don't you have work Mr. Edward today? Will you be staying at home the complete time?".
Louis replied, " Well it's weekend so I don't have much to do. Also as we are going to practice so I'll just stay home".
Seren removed some groceries from the fridge as she was starting to cook again. Louis asked, " Are you cooking again?".
Seren still finding some ingredients replied, " I won't be able to cook lunch afterwards so I'll just do it now. You can reheat it and eat. Is it alright with you Mr. Edward?".
Louis nodded. As he saw Seren finding something he asked, " Do you need something?".
Seren replied, " Do we have soy sauce at home?".
Louis replied as he had just finished his work of washing dishes, " Hmm. It's in the uppermost shelf cupboard".
Seren opened the uppermost shelf but her hand wasn't able to reach till the sauce bottle. She tip-toed her feet but it still wasn't reachable. Louis who saw her struggling moved towards her and stood behind her as he removed the bottle from the shelf.
He said, " If you can't reach it then just ask me to do it".
Seren was unable to reach the bottle but suddenly Louis came and removed it. Though he was just trying to help but still they were really close. Their bodies had almost touched. Louis was tall and had a strong built so it was a piece of cake for him to reach the bottle on the uppermost shelf.
Seren was a little flustered by his actions. Louis passed the bottle to her as he asked, " Do you need anything more?".
Seren replied, " There's one thing that I need".
Louis asked thinking that this woman was finally asking for his help herself, " What do you need more? Tell me"
Seren without any emotions replied, " Will you please move a little Mr. Edward. If my assistant comes then I may not be able to cook lunch for you. I'm pretty busy".
Louis realized that he was still standing close to Seren. Even though Seren was facing her back at him, he could still recognize that she had really cold aura right now. He immediately shifted as he said, " I'm sorry. I didn't realize ".
Louis went to his bedroom as he kept hand on his chest. He asked himself as he looked in the mirror , ' Why are you beating so fast? I didn't even do any exercise so why is my heart irregular? Should I see a doctor? Maybe it's just because I am tired by cleaning house early in morning and even washing dishes. Right. I am tired so this is happening'.
Seren on the other side massaged her temples as she noticed Louis leaving the kitchen and going to the bedroom. Flustered and shocked by the recent incident she thought, ' Is this quack like this with everyone? Why is his hand always reaching for giving help even when not needed? I must keep distance from him. He's just too innocent and young so may not know anything ' .
She sighed and returned to cooking lunch as she remembered that Kevin was going to come for work soon.
