Chapter 1: PAST LIFE (1)
It's been two hours since Jiang Meili has been staring at the ceiling. She still cannot believe that she is alive once again. How many years has it been since she last died? She could still remember when the Holy Priest said that she would die on her 25th birthday as her powers were too much for her fragile body.
Flashback
"NO!! IT CAN'T BE!! I AM STILL YOUNG."
*crash* *crash*
Screams and the sound of breaking things could be heard from the master bedroom of this large mansion. The servants outside the room were shivering and didn't dare to make a single sound, afraid that the witch inside would burn them alive.By witch they literally meant the witch since the one inside is the most powerful witch of the century and she can really burn one alive with a snap of her fingers.
The servants have no idea why their usually happy-go-lucky mistress became so violent. Ever since the Holy Priest left the room five hours ago, their mistress has been shouting and breaking things.
However, the sound all of a sudden stopped. Hearing no sound from inside, the butler o waited for ten minutes before entering the room. As soon as the butler opened the door, he turned pale pale seeing the scene that welcomed him.
The room which was usually neat and clean turned into a battlefield. The mirror has been shattered into so many pieces which is enough to convey the anger the witch had in her. The floor was covered in broken pieces of vases, clothes, and books. Some of them are on fire and some are covered in blood. And in the middle of the room was the mistress of the house lying on the floor.
The once white dress was now covered in blood. However, it did not decrease the beauty of the girl on the floor.
"Hurry up, call the physician right now" the butler ordered the servants as he carried the mistress to another bedroom and laid her on the bed.
Just as the physician left after bandaging the small cuts on the witch's hands and legs, the girl slowly opened her eyes. Seeing the girl gaining her consciousness, the butler and the other servants did not know what to feel. They were happy to see their mistress alive but were scared about what she was going to break now.
However, contradictory to their thoughts, as soon as the witch opened her eyes one could see the calmness in it. It was as if the lady on rampage and the one on the bed were two different people.
" Sorry for the tantrum earlier and thank you for your hard work. You all can leave now," said the witch.
As soon as the servants left, the witch started laughing as she thought about the things she found out when she fainted.
The Holy Priest earlier came to inform her that she would die on her 25th birthday as her powers were too much for her fragile body and her powers became her curse. But she just realized even if she wasn't that powerful, she still would have died. After all, she was just a character in the fantasy novel known as 'Witch you like, my Werewolf.' It is a fantasy-romance novel of a werewolf and witch. However, that's not the main point.
The main point is that this witch with unparalleled power and beauty dies even before appearing in this novel. She was a character called Jiang Meili who is the most beautiful and the power witch of the novel but she dies at a very young age. Jiang Meili was mentioned only once and that too in a flashback.
"Seriously in the flashback. Was this beauty not appealing enough to stay alive for at least one-third of the book. Huh! Mister writer!!!" said Jiang Meili mockingly.
"Was it a good idea to make the younger male and female meet at my funeral..Hmph!" She kept on rambling until she fell asleep once again.
