Chapter 90: Back in the city of Ditrayn

As the commander's meeting concluded, Aragon and Vaises emerged from the room. Vaises, overwhelmed by a week of tumultuous events, was eager to return to the comforts of the city. He couldn't help but regret his ill-advised confrontation with Aragon, wishing he had taken more time to prepare. And now he couldn't risk giving Aragon reason to doubt him—the consequences were unknown and potentially dire.

Aragon, on the other hand, seemed unfazed by the events progressed in the forest. Vaises knew that he needed to be cautious around Aragon, as he couldn't predict his next move.

Even after seeing what Aragon had done, he still felt that he hadn't prepared properly. But the feeling of fear made him stop thinking further. For now, he wanted to return and deal with the problem later.

After getting their stuff, they went to pick up their horses.
