Chapter 221: 221. Treated
Doranbolt's unit arrives on Magnolia in a small airship that they have on their ship. They moved fast because Ben's condition is very bad and none of them are skilled enough to treat him. Luckily, Doranbolt who infiltrated Fairy Tail knows some useful information that can help them.
Their airship doesn't stop on Magnolia though and they keep going to the west forest. The airship can't land in the thick forest, so Doranbolt uses his teleportation magic to take Ben, Mira, & Bella down together with some men who carry them.
They appear in front of a very big tree that has a door, windows, and even ornaments. This tree is Fairy Tail's best doctor's house, Porlyusica's house. She is the only one that Doranbolt can think of to save Ben, Mira, & Bella.
There must be other skilled doctors out there but they won't treat the 3 as seriously as Porlyusica. Also, they don't have time to find another skilled doctor. Magnolia is also quite close to Hargeon Port so it took less time to reach this place.
Doranbolt knocks on the door hastily and calls Porlyusica repeatedly. This is an urgent matter and he is quite panicking right now. Luckily, the old woman comes out fast because she is quite angry at how he knocks on her door.
"What's wrong with you? Can't you knock on the door slowly? I am not deaf even though I'm old," says Porlyusica angrily.
"I'm sorry, but this is urgent. I will explain everything later, but please help them," says Doranbolt hastily while bowing and pointing at Ben & co.
Porlyusica finally realizes that he is from the Magic Council. She is very surprised to see someone from the Magic Council bow to her. That only means that something really bad has happened so she looks at where Doranbolt pointed at.
The old woman widens her eyes when she sees Ben's bloody appearance. His body has been covered fully by blood and none of his original appearances can be seen. He is also still sticking onto the ship's body parts and holds Mira & Bella in his arms.
"MIRA! BELLA!" shouts Porlyusica while running hastily towards the 3.
She knows Mira & Bella quite well because they've interacted often. Their appearance is quite normal, so she can recognize them. But she can't recognize Ben who has blood all over his body, even on his hair.
"Who is this person?" asks Porlyusica while looking at Ben with shaking eyes.
"It's Ben Cooper, a Fairy Tail Mage," says Doranbolt.
Porlyusica gets even more surprised and she shouts, "WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO HIM? AND WHY DON'T YOU DO SOMETHING? HOW COULD YOU LET HIM STAY LIKE THIS WITHOUT TREATING HIM?"
Doranbolt bites his lips before saying, "We don't have anyone skilled enough to help him with his condition. We were afraid that we might make things worse if we do something wrong."
Porlyusica grits her teeth because she knows that it's true. But she still can't accept the fact that they let Ben stay like this on their way here. His condition must have deteriorated while they were on their way here.
Without wasting time, Porlyusica immediately moves to help the 3. She moves Ben's arms from Mira & Bella and then tells the Council members to move the girls inside her house. They do as she says while she starts to take care of Ben.
She removes the metals pieces that stabbed Ben's body. Her movements are fast and precise without any hesitation. The Council medics who watch her are amazed by it because they can't do the same feat.
After removing all the small metal pieces, she tells the medics to help her move Ben's body from the big ship part where his body sticks. She gives them detailed instructions while she also works on them. Ben finally gets released soon and they move him inside the house.
Porlyusica orders the Council's medics to treat Mira & Bella while she treats Ben. The girls' conditions are bad, but not as bad as Ben's. He is hanging on the verge of death with a very thin thread, after all.
So she needs to move fast now. She uses her magic staff to cast a spell on Ben's body. A blue aura appears on Ben's body and slowly it turns red as the blood that covered his body starts to disappear.
While doing ghat, she takes 5 more magic staffs and places them around the bed where Ben lies. The staffs stand and then a light green magic circle with a pentagram & a star inside it appears. The pentagram & star's corner spots are the 5 staffs.
Then as the light green magic circle shines on him, Ben's external wounds start to close. It is Porlyusica's healing magic that she has learned over the years. This spell will prevent Ben from losing more blood than he already has.
Soon, the blood that covers his body and his external wounds disappear. Now she can take a better look at him to examine the damage that his body suffers. The longer she examines, the more she can't believe what she sees.
But she doesn't have time to be surprised because Ben needs immediate treatment. So she takes some small pieces of lacrima crystals and places them near the 5 staffs. She casts another spell using the 5 staffs and now they just produce a light yellow magic circle with many magic runes inside.
Porlyusica then points her main magic staff in her hand to the center of the magic circle. It makes the magic circle creates a thin yellow light that sines on Ben's body. She keeps the magic circle for an hour until the small lacrima crystals get depleted.
After the bright yellow light disappeared, Ben's complexion has gotten better. He is still not healed but at least his life isn't that threatened right now. However, his condition was very bad so her magic could only prevent his death for now.
This is the best she can do for Ben today. His treatment can't be done in one day and she needs to treat him slowly every day. For now, she needs him to have more blood because he lost too much and without enough blood, he can't receive her treatments.
Then she places another piece of lacrima crystal and puts it near Ben. After that, she casts another spell using her 5 magic staffs. Then a rather white transparent magic dome appears and covers Ben's body.
This dome will protect & sterilize Ben's surroundings so he won't get disturbed because it can worsen his condition. It's like a barrier so people won't enter it and disturb Ben's recovery. The dome is protecting him and also helps him to recover faster. It will only disappear if she cancels it or the lacrima crystal runs out of energy
After she finished, she leaves Ben & go to check on Mira & Bella's condition. The Council's medics have done what they could but they are still troubled. The girls' injuries are mostly internal, so it is very difficult, and they aren't skilled enough to handle complicated internal injuries like these.
Porlyusica doesn't have another choice but to take over their jobs. She kicks them out of her house though because she will need to open Mira's clothes to do a better checking. There's no way she will let the men stay here and see Mira's body.
She checks their conditions and does some treatments on them. Their internal injuries are very bad actually but they aren't that bad compared to Ben. Porlyusica can be more relaxed when treating them.
She finishes their first treatment after half an hour and then leaves them. They need to rest first before they can get treated again. So she leaves them and goes to meet Doranbolt outside.
"How are they?" asks Doranbolt with a concerned tone.
"They are still far from being healed, but at least they won't die today. Now tell me what happened! They should be on Tenrou Island for the S-Class exam with Makarov and other young Mages. And don't tell me you can't say it! It is concerning my guild, after all," says Porlyusica with an intimidating tone.
Doranbolt gets silent for a moment before he starts to explain.
