Chapter 360: 360. Recover
A week after the wars against Tartaros & Acnologia, Ben finally opens his eyes. He finds himself in a familiar room he hasn't visited for 7 years. It's the special treatment room in Porlyusica's house that looks like a small dome greenhouse.
Ben looks around and sees an IV drip being used on him. Then on his right, he sees a white-haired woman sleeping with her head on the bed. He smiles and looks around again, but no one else is there now.
So Ben checks his body now and everything has returned to normal except for his left hand. He has lost his left hand completely, but it doesn't make him mad or regret his choice. His & his friends' lives are worth more than a mere left hand.
Other than the missing left hand, his body is fine if his still skinny body isn't counted. His ripped skin has been fully healed because of his great vitality and self-healing power. Too bad that his self-healing power isn't regeneration, so he can't regrow his left hand.
That's not a problem though because now Ben's biggest concern is the Dragonization. He checks the Evil Dragon God Lacrima immediately to see if there's any change. He can't remember it well, but the 5 Dragons did something before he lost consciousness.
'Hmm? The shape doesn't change, but it looks a little bigger and shines brighter now. It also feels.... alive,' thinks Ben while looking at the lacrima's reflection in his mindscape.

All 5 Dragons have transferred their last magic power, soul, and life forces to stop the Dragonization process. Ben closes his eyes because he wants to thank them, but he can't. Those Dragons have left this world completely now. So he can only say his gratitude to them in his mind because they've saved his life.
[Another change has been detected too.]
Quorra's voice breaks the silence and Ben asks, 'What change?'
[The Dragon Soul Technique that was used by the Dragons has another side effect on you because of everything you've done to remove the seed's effects. The lacrima is now connected to your soul because the Dragons made it to be a real part of your body instead of just an object put inside. It is like an organ to you now and it feels alive because your soul is also in it just like your other organs.]
'What the hell?! So it wasn't a part of me before even though I made it using my Dragon Seed?' asks Ben in his mind.
Rather than having a lacrima as a new organ, he is more surprised by the fact that the lacrima he made using the seed was considered an external object in his body.
'Will it cause any problem?' asks Ben.
[Not enough data to make any conclusion. But there is not any negative effect so far.]
'What about benefit?' asks Ben again.
[You should be able to use all Force modes a lot easier and get better power boosts. However, it is predicted that the side effect after using any Force mode will be more severe.]
'Such side effect is not a problem if it means I can defeat much stronger opponents,' thinks Ben before leaving his mindscape.
Ben's mind has returned to the real world and he opens his eyes again. It seems he was in his mindscape for too long because there are some people in the room now. Mira is awake too and she is holding their children.
"You've finally woken up," says Porlyusica who's checking his condition currently.
"Yeah, how long has it been?" asks Ben.
"A week has passed since that incident," says Porlyusica while still examining him.
The others hear his voice and immediately look at him without saying anything. Ben just smiles before his family members run to hug him. Ariel, Gabriel, and Bella just jump on him while Mira, Wendy, & Carla are hugging him from the sides.
"HEY! DON'T JUMP ON THE PATIENT!" yells Porlyusica while trying to pick up the kids & Bella.
"It's fine grandma, just let them be, they aren't heavy," says Ben while smiling.
"They might be light, but you look as if you'll break apart with a weak tap. I don't know what you did to make all those muscles gone. You're like a twig now and you even lost a hand," says Porlyusica with a pissed tone, but Ben knows she is worried about him now.
"Well, let's just say I did some necessary things and this is the consequence. How about those 6?" asks Ben calmly.
Makarov is the one who answers that, "Thanks to you and the Dragons, they are fine. The Sabertooth Mages have returned to their guild after staying here for 3 days. Natsu, Gray, and Gajeel have been training hard since then. They kept blaming themselves for being too weak and overestimating themselves by staying there. You lost a hand when you protected them, after all, so they feel very guilty."
Ben smirks when he hears that, "Those idiots are too serious. This is but a flesh wound. But I don't hate their wish to become much stronger."
"Flesh wound? Are you seriously want to joke about that now?" asks Mira angrily because she was very worried.
"Yeah, because it means I am healthy enough to joke around now," says Ben.
"You really know how to talk back," says Mira before sighing.
Mira then smiles and says, "I'm glad that you finally woke up. Welcome back, honey."
"Welcome back, papa!" says Ariel & Gabriel.
They all welcome him back and they are happy with his recovery. Ben smiles and thanks them before his stomach suddenly growls. He hasn't eaten for 22 days while training and a week more after that, so it's been 29 days since he last ate food.
Everyone laughs before Mira says that she will take some food here. But Ben stops her and says that they should go to the guild now to eat there. The other guild members also need to know that he has woken up.
"Besides, your hands aren't enough to carry all the food I need," says Ben while smiling.
His words confuse them, but they still agree with his suggestion. Ben wants to teleport them there, but Makarov stops him and calls someone. A man enters the room and Ben is surprised to see him here, it's Doranbolt from Magic Council.
He wants to ask Makarov, but the old man just says, "I will explain it to you later."
Ben just raises an eyebrow and doesn't ask anything. Doranbolt who now has a Fairy Tail mark on his left shoulder teleports them all to the guild. Their sudden appearance surprises everyone there, but then it turns into a party after they see Ben.
While the others are partying, Ben is eating at the bar. He eats very fast and devours every food that comes to the table. Everyone gets silent when they see the empty plates on the bar keep stacking at a crazy speed.
Soon, the bar table becomes full of empty dirty plates. But Ben still asks for more because he is still hungry. His body also has changed noticeably now. He has more muscles even though he is still smaller than his original size.
Ben asks for more food, but nothing comes to the table again. They've run out of ingredients and the cooks have been knocked out because they've worked too hard. So without any choice, Ben goes to a restaurant.
Everyone follows him and sees him repeat what he did in the guild. He keeps 'destroying' restaurants until he is full. It takes their whole guild's and 9 restaurant's supply to satiate his hunger.
No one knows how he can eat that much food and returns to his original appearance in such a short time. Even the Mages can't explain it because they don't know if something like this is possible even with magic.
Ben stretches his body after he gets full and says, "I'm back."
