Chapter 6: Chapter 6: The Queen's Sons
A young man arrived with a bodyguard by his side in a crystal white coat which matched my gown.
"Mother" he said greeting the Queen
"Good Evening" he said greeting my parents with a slight bow with his head.
Then he turned towards me and kissed my hand and said hello. I bowed in reply. After so many years, finally someone touched my heart again and it felt beautiful.
We looked into each other's eyes for a while and our attention was broken by the The Queen.
"Ah! they have the same taste and sense of manners" said the Queen.
"I agree" said Mother nodding gently approving from this handsome boy.
"Oh! I...I didn't properly introduced myself! I am Zander" he said with a smile.
"And I am Sapphire." I said replying.
"You are a gem, I can say that" he said looking in my eyes which made me smile.
Then started a conversation. It was so easy to talk to him and almost all of our preferences matched.
I was amazed by lighting of the hall beautifully outlining his figure. He took my hand and showed me around. The moment he touched it felt like electricity flowing through me.
His hands were slender and soft. His gaze gentle and his smile warm.
It turned out we were talking for quite a while and walked quite away that we was not able to spot our parents. On the way, when we were trying to find them, I found an old rival of mine.
" Hiya! Luke" said Zander and apparently he knew that jerk.
"Hi.." Luke was about to say but stopped after spotting me with Zander and I could still see the horror lurking inside his eyes.
"Seen my mom anywhere?" Zander asked
"No" Luke said walking away.
"What's up with him?" Zander asked himself.
"Probably afraid of me" I said
"Afraid of someone as beautiful as you?" he asked
"Yeah, you see it goes like this.." I told him everything but molded it to hide the parts that don't seem lady like.
"Oh!.. My!.. God! he spilled on your favourite dress. How could he make such a mistake being a gentleman?" Zander repeated
"Yeah!" I said chuckling.
We laughed and told jokes and opened up to each other about the most funniest times we went through.
At a time, I literally saw a full moon with him standing just in the centre. Moonlight blending his outline, hiding his expressions.
He told me that I look just like my parents and that I got traits from both of them. I felt uneasy. He saw my expression and asked me what the matter was?
I told him the story of my childhood just the same way I told the Phychaitrist. Also that I was adopted by the Zile family.
He actually hugged me and told me that he felt sorry for me. And also said that I am the first girl he hugged and he said that he felt nice.
We chuckled. I told how I love my new family like my own and that they love me ever more than my previous family. I also told him that must people confuse me for their actual daughter.
After some time we spotted our parents. By the time we reached them they were talking to someone else and it was the boy from the club, right there!
"This is my young son Eldore" said the Queen
I made sure I looked scared and pale infront of Zander.
"What happened?" he asked me in my ear.
"That's the boy who was in the club and sat beside me and gave me a drink without my permission..so..um I punched him in the face because I was scared..but don't tell my parents I punched him they'll go crazy just listening. I told them my bodyguard punched him" I replied in his ear
"Oh! that's where he got that mark on his face and he told me..he lost a fight in practice." he said in a low voice laughing and laughed gently as well.
"Where did you get that mark, son?" said the Queen
"He was at the club party mother and tried to touch this beautiful lady and got a punch from her bodyguard" said Zander.
"Ah! you guys are bac..wait what, young gentleman you were supposed to do your homeworkwork not go after ladies.." said Queen scolding Eldore
"I am sorry dear" said the Queen.
"No need to apologise Your Majesty, my parents never let me go with out a bodyguard, so I was safe" I Said and my parents smiled with pride and joy and Eldore stood aside embarassed.
After that Zander and I talked some more and ate together but time was swift that it went by so quickly that we had to go or we'd be late in the morning for our flight and my father would miss his meeting.
"Bye my sweet Sapphire" said Zander as he kissed my hand.
"Good bye, I promise I'll visit again" I said hugging him.
We sat in our car and drove to our hotel. We went to bed as soon possible...
