Chapter 43: THE FOOD WAS GREAT!
ANASTASIA
We had the delicious Italian food, which was of course great. And I enjoyed eating out so much. Xavier sat there and saw me gulp down the food. When I realised he was just watching me and not eating, I asked, "Is the food not good?"
"No...it's just that you're better."
"You want to eat me??"
"I would, but not with our babies in there"
Ohh this man was such a hope killer. I was too needy for sex. Even watching Xavier button up his shirt made me needy, him normally eating his food made me needy. And he wasn't ready to give me what I wanted. But no worries, 4 more months to go.
We were planning to do the gender reveal party soon. But we didn't know the genders yet, Noah did, and he was the one planning the party.
And I tried to butter him everyday, to tell me the gender. But he always caught me, and asked me to go butter up someone else.
Mimi, Papa and Tia were all very excited and visited often now, Tia even sleeps over sometime, despite the scolding mom gave her about not staying at sister's in-laws home.
But when did she listen?
Xavier opened the door for me and I got in. And just when he got in beside me, his phone rung.
It was Amelia, and I nearly burst out laughing, when I saw the name Xavier had saved.
'BABE'S RIVAL'
"My rival?" I laughed.
"Yeah, isn't she" Xavier smirked.
"Yeah she is...let me pick up the phone"
"Kay"
I picked up the phone and put t on speaker.
"Xavi...you picked up the pho..."
"It's Anastasi...as you call me...what do you want?" I asked politely, but in a taunt tone.
"Oh...it's you" she clearly wasn't happy with me picking up the phone.
"Yes...because I'm his wife, BELOVED wife, so can I take a message for him?"
Beside me Xavier was trying his hundred percent not to laugh. But wasn't fully successful.
"No...I'll call him later" and with that she hung up.
And me and Xavier burst out laughing together.
"Good one, Mrs. Possessive"
"Well, thank you Mr. Possessive"
XAVIER
I was so grateful to the god that my wife was so understanding. And was taking this Ex-matter so lightly, and she was really cool with this. She's a wife/girlfriend everyone would want. But I wasn't willing to give.
"Love, are you sure she will go away soon?"
"Yeah...and if she causes serious problems, we can take some legal actions"
"Hmmm" she rested her head on me shoulder.
"Don't worry, babe"
"I'm not, I kinda like teasing her" she chuckled, followed by mine.
When we reached home, my mom asked me to come to her room, I put Anastasia to sleep and went to her.
"Mom..."
"Yeah, come in, love"
"Why did you ask for me?"
"Umm...sit down first"
"Yeah?" I said sitting down.
"Why did she return again?"
"Maybe because I made my relationship public"
"Why but!?"
"Mom, you know she's a gold digger, she's only here for money"
"I know, but she's affecting the life of your wife, you AND the babies"
"She'll go away soon mom"
"I hope so" my mother was worried.
"Mom, don't worry, I love only and only Anastasia, no one else
"I know, love" she kissed my forehead.
"Hmm"
"I just hope she goes away"
"Well, just so you know, my Anastasia is taking this matter in her own way, and she isn't at all pissed with the situation, AND, she's pissing Amelia, when she should be pissed"
"Oh...good" mom laughed.
I returned to my room, to a silently snoring Anastasia.
I sat be her and watched her sleep for hours before I slept.
