Chapter 33: Chapter 32: Meeting
Izumi materialized his Dark Matter armour and mask before heading outside of the apartment. Just before leaving from the window, he had created a clone of himself that he left in his bed to "sleep". It was nothing impressive as it was just a shell with the appearance of Miyamura Izumi. If he wanted to create a complete body, he would have to read up on medical books I. human body. He could maybe even read books on different animal anatomy so that he doesn't stay limited.
Once the shell was completed, it went to sleep on the bed and Izumi jumped out of the window before unfurling his wings and taking the sky. Making himself invisible, he ten slowly flew in the sky and check his trackers once more. He found out that the group had teleported close to the abandoned building the devils had used and were now walking towards it. He decided to observe them from a distance. He created an earbud that connected with the microphone of the tracker and placed it in his ear.
"So it happened here?" asked Bikou
"It seems the Church did a good job covering it up," replied Vali. " Kuroka, Le Fay, can you see If you can do anything about our mysterious Fallen Angel?"
"But, what are you going to do about the one who was observing us?" asked Arthur.
"He is simply observing us right now. It's not worth our time?"
"I wouldn't be so sure about that." a new voice emerged.
At that moment, white dragon wings emerged from Vali's back. Izumi rose an eyebrow at the voice.
'Who's this?'
"What do you mean Albion?" asked Vali.
'So that's Albion, the White Dragon Emperor.'
"What if that very person observing us was the crow that you were looking for?" replied the Heavenly Dragon.
The group paused as they pondered at his words.
"You may be right. Let's find that person and ask him. He may know about the Fallen we are finding." said Vali.
"And how are we going to find him?" asked Bikou.
At that moment, they heard a voice,
"Well it's a good thing I showed up didn't I?"
The group tensed and went into a battle stance. Bikou had his pole, Arthur put a hand on one of his swords, Kuroka was poised in a combat position, Le Fay held a staff and Vali simply shifted in position. They looked up at the source of the voice and saw a tall teen donning a completely black armour suit and a mask. What surprised them was the five pairs of wings gently flapping behind him as the teen hovered in the air.
"So? I heard you guys were trying to find me, so what do you need?"
When Izumi heard Bikou's words, he grinned.
'Let's go meet them, shall we?' he thought before revealing himself above them.
He saw how everyone tensed and turned towards him.
"So? I heard you guys were trying to find me, so what do you want from me?" he asked.
The group stayed silent before Vali began to speak.
"Indeed, we came to find you as we wanted something from you," Vali said.
"Oh? And what would that be?" Izumi asked as he tilted his head.
He didn't hear anything about wanting something from him.
Arthur, sensing something from Vali's tone, quickly warned his leader.
"Vali, no. You don't want to do this."
"He's right Vali, you don't want to create another scene like last time," added Bikou looking a little distressed.
"Please Vali-sama," interjected Le Fay.
Kuroka didn't say anything as she was intensively staring at Izumi. She was the only one who was quiet.
Before Valu could move a powerful voice interrupted him.
"Wait Vali!" said the voice from the wings behind Vali.
"What is it now Albion?" Vali asked making his irritation know. He was itching to fight him.
"You, what did you do to him?" asked Albion.
"What are you talking about?" Izumi asked innocently.
"Don't play the innocent! You know what I'm talking about." snarled the dragon.
'He sensed the Dark Matter in Vali? Well, that's unexpected. I suppose he's not a Heavenly Dragon for nothing even if he was chopped up and his soul was sealed into a sacred gear.'
"It's just insurance in case they cause any problem here. As long they don't cause any problem, they won't have to worry about anything. I'll remove it when they leave this town." Izumi replied nonchalantly.
Of course, the trackers that he had placed on everyone except Kuroka were fused into their bodies and we're capable of incapacitating them without injuring them. He had lots of practice to be able to do that.
When they heard his words, they immediately pulled out their weapons.
So you are Albion, a pleasure meeting you and the White Dragon Emperor. You may call me Enigma. May I know the names of those who entered this town?" Izumi greeted them after descending from the sky.
Izumi knew who they were, but it was a simple matter of formality and also it wouldn't make sense that he knew their information.
"I am Vali the White Dragon Emperor" the leader replied.
"I am Bikou, a descendant of the Great Sage of Heaven, Sun Wukong."
"I am Arthur Pendragon and she is my sister Le Fay Pendragon. And we are the descendant of King Arthur and Morgan Le Fay."
"Hello, Enigma-sama," Le Fay greeted cheerily.
"And I'm Kuroka nya!" the black cat introduced herself.
"That's good, now that the introductions are out of the way, what do you want?"
"What are you?" Kuroka suddenly asked before anyone could speak up.
They all turned towards her. Izumi frowned,
"What do you mean?"
"I've been around many Fallens before, but you don't feel like them."
"Oh? What do you feel when you look at me?" Izumi said as he kept his calm. But internally, he was anxious.
'Did she realize I am a human?'
"You're Ki is really strong, but it doesn't have the same corrupted light Fallen Angels have. Actually, it doesn't have any properties at all. The only Ki I've felt like yours are the ones found in humans. Besides, those wings of yours do not have Fallen Angel feathers. They're made of something else." She then smirked. You're not a Fallen angel, are you?" she finished with a question.
Izumi sighed, 'Well, the cat is now out of the bag, I didn't expect to be discovered so fast.'
Vali frowned,
"Are you saying that he's just a human? How is that possible?"
"It wasn't easy, but you can't fool a Senjutsu user that easily."
"What do you mean? I'm also a Senjutsu user," interjected Bikou.
"Then you're just trash," Kuroda replied blandly.
"Hey!"
"Wait, are you saying that a human defeated a peerage of Devils and fooled The Strongest Exorcist into thinking he was a Fallen?" asked Arthur a little perplexed.
"It seems so," replied Kuroka.
"I wonder what kind of magic he uses?" asked Le Fay as she looked at Izumi.
"I see, that changes everything," Vali replied before walking in front of the group.
"I want to fight you." Vali started.
"You want to fight me?" Izumi asked.
"Yes."
"I see." Izumi pondered on the request. He also wanted to know how he faired against the strongest White Dragon Emperor in history. Besides, Izumi didn't know if he wanted to join his team or not.
'Let's decide after the fight. But first, let's get. something out of this,' he thought.
"Okay, but in exchange for this fight, you must not tell anyone about me," Izumi stated.
"Sure, why not, but you must remove whatever you placed inside us before the battle." shrugged Vali.
Izumi decided to indulge his request. It's not like he couldn't replace it in case they do something.
"Okay. Do you have a place?"
"Yes, Arthur?" Vali turned towards Arthur.
"Are you sure Vali, you want to do this?"
"Yes, I want to see how he fights," Vali replied with a grin.
"Goddamn battle junkie," Bikou muttered.
Arthur sighed,
"Alright, as you wish," he sighed before adding, "To be honest, he also makes me curious," He turned around, "Everyone behind me. You too, Enigma."
Everyone went behind him and the descendant of the ancient King of Britain unsheathed one of his swords. As he did, Holy energy began to spill out from the sword. It was a long sword with a large cross-like grip that had a round pommel at the and. It also had a gold-coloured edge on its long blade. Izumi had never felt so much holy power so he cast a spell on the sword (Structural Analysis). Information about the sword began spilling into his mind. The sword's name was Caliburn and it was the Sword in the Stone that chose King Arthur as its wielder making him the King of Britain of his time. It is also known as the Strongest Holy Sword in existence surpassing Excalibur and Durandal. It has the largest amount of Holy aura of all the four Holy swords and it is capable of manipulating the very space.
Izumi was amazed by the sword and how powerful it was as the information appeared in his mind. Information about its history also appeared in his mind. He saw the weapon's memory of its time in Camelot, the different techniques used and how it was passed down to its descendants. Meanwhile, in his Reality Marble, stabbed in the ground, stood a replica of the sword that he analyzed.
'Is Caliburn the DxD version of Yamato?' Izumi thought.
He saw the other sword that was in its scabbard and used (Structural Analysis) once more. The other sword is one of the seven fragments of the original Excalibur after it broke. The fragment was then recorded and renamed the Holy Sword of Control or Excalibur Ruler. It was also the strongest out of all the Holy Swords as it grants the user the ability to control anything it wants if the user is strong enough.
Once again Izumi was speechless.
'The anime never showed this! I call bullshit! They only said that it was able to manipulate any living things or organic material. If any other person had this sword, the world would have already been doomed,' thought Izumi as he went through the information of the Excalibur Ruler.
"Are you ready?" Arthur asked everyone. Everyone answered "Yes!" and Arthur lifted Caliburn in the air before slashing it. As he slashed, the very space began to distort and a tear appeared in front of them. The tear then cleared itself and on the other side was a vast plain.
"Let's go," said Vali and stepped through the portal and everyone followed. Izumi went after everyone and Arthur came in last and the tear closed itself once he stepped through.
"Where are we?" asked Izumi as he looked around.
Vali raised his arms in the air,
"This is our personal training ground where no one will see us," he said.
"I see. So when do we start?" asked Izumi.
"When you remove whatever you place inside us."
Izumi removed the bombs inside them.
"Alright, it's done."
"Albion?"
"I can confirm that he removed it," said Albion as the Sacred Gear manifested behind Vali.
"Good," Vali said before showing off a grin.
"Oh man, he went into his battle maniac mode," Bikou said.
"You're right, he went into his battle maniac mode," Arthur sighed.
"It's true, Vali-sama can't help but go into his battle maniac mode," Le Fay followed.
"Vali nya is hot when he goes into his battle maniac mode,"
"Oi. Stop talking as if I'm sick. I don't have a battle maniac mode." retorted Vali to his group who started to snicker.
Izumi also decided to join the fun.
"So you're a battle maniac?" Izumi said with a grin behind his mask.
"You, shut up!" Vali shot back to Izumi annoyed.
"Alright nya! No killing or maiming in this fight!" called out Kuroka
"3!"
Both fighters got into position.
"2!"
Vali readied his sacred gear while Izumi spread his ten wings.
"1!"
Both fighters tensed as their muscles coiled ready for the fight.
"Fight!"
And both fighters went into action.
