Chapter 11: Chapter 11: Opposite Sides

"It's you." Qingzhao recognized them as the group of girls from earlier today. "Why are you interfering with my business?"

"You have no right to ask when you're interfering with my business," Chun Yi replied. She was still wearing her veiled hat. Her three juniors were standing behind her, shooting dagger eyes at Qingzhao.

"Your business?" Qingzhao chuckled lowly then dropped her chin to her chest.

"Your job is done. You have what you came here for and your opponent has left already. Now leave."

Qingzhao looked up with a gasp and the person in the mask wasn't there anymore. "I see, you're here to help them escape aren't you?"

Qingzhao was a short-tempered girl and hated long conversations. She was rather aggressive and candid. She took out her Moon Sabers from her back. The size of her sabers were almost the size of her, making the massive weapon breathtaking every time she took them out.

Qingzhao came at Chun Yi. She double sliced but Chun Yi easily turned her body and fit perfectly in between the sabers. Chun Yi was a different fighter and used very different techniques. She twisted her right hand that was holding onto her sword in that split second, exposing the handle. She used her sheathed sword to jab at Qingzhao, but Qingzhao stepped sideways. The sheath opened up somewhat, exposing the metallic blade. Qingzhao slashed the Moon Sabre into Chun Yi's sword. Chun Yi palmed Qingzhao's shoulder before she could do that, and sheathed her sword back in. Qingzhao withdrew back in defense.

As the two girls fought, the other three girls watched carefully from the side. With the pause in their fight, Qingzhao recognized the sheathed sword in Chun Yi's hand.

"Elixir Sword," she snickered. "You must be Chun Yi from Hidden Butterfly Valley. Lu Pingyu is your Master. It's nice to finally meet you, Holy Cursed Lady."

Chun Yi didn't say anything, but now that her identity had been revealed she was slightly at a disadvantage. Knowing who her Master was, Qingzhao could figure out her style of fighting, what techniques she was going to use, but most importantly how to counter those moves. Even though Qingzhao had never encountered people from Hidden Butterfly Valley before, she knew about them enough to have a decent fight.

"Draw out your sword!" Qingzhao proclaimed, bending her neck back a little to show her angry eyes. "Why does this always happen to me? I will not fight another person who refuses to draw their sword." She gripped her Moon Sabers tighter.

The girl who was wearing light colors and the short frilled skirt, opened her right hand next to her, then brought it into a fist on her chest. The shiny sliver of thread connecting her hand to the sword earlier was finally visible.

"Then fight with me instead!" The girl blared her eyes at Qingzhao.

Her sword on the wooden pillar broke off and became her puppet. She danced in puppeteer techniques at a distance to manipulate the sword in attacking Qingzhao. She used the hair-thin thread to control her sword.

Qingzhao, on the other hand, was actually a much better fighter than her, being that she came from one of the Four Great Sects in martial arts. Qingzhao currently ranked one of the highest in the martial arts community, second highest, to be exact. She could tell that the girl's skills were below Chun Yi, and she doesn't want to play with an amateur.

The girl used her best moves to enclose Qingzhao backwards into the corner of the tavern. Qingzhao swayed her giant weapon and easily blocked all the attacks. She found an opening to put her Moon Sabers away and picked up the iron cauldron in the corner with her bare hands. She swung it at the girl.

The junior girl was rendered helpless as she didn't see the cauldron in time.

"Such strength!" Chun Yi whispered from the other side of the room. She squinted her eyes as if to see better.

The two twin girls behind Chun Yi quickly ran to their sister to cushion the impact of her fall. The twins were able to hold her upright, but she threw up some blood. Her internal energy had been injured from the heavy pot.

Qingzhao prepared to finish the battle with her next move when she let out a fiery breath.

Tearing the sleeves off her arm like it was nothing, she exposed some relatively skinny but meaty arms. She flexed her arms to the side in tight fists and squeezed all her qi into them. Summoning so much qi created wind around her that blew her ponytail back. The skin around her arms turned black and evolved into a metallic armor. Even her hands had turned completely metal. Her whole arm down to her hands had grown almost twice its original size.

She put her metal hands together in a praying position to concentrate for a second. Then, she stepped forward with one foot and clapped both hands again above her head, towards the girl and the two twins. The wind around her magically had picked up metallic elements in the air that started to combine larger and larger until they formed pebble to rock size. They all spun around her whole body powerfully into the direction she desired.

Chun Yi realized that this was a dangerous move and if she didn't act fast, she would lose all three of her junior sisters to this incredible move. She unsheathed her sword and immediately performed the Nine Yin Sword Technique. With one powerful slash, a strong concentrated blast of pink energy hit Qingzhao's attack and diverted it successfully. It crashed right in front of the room Kun Shang and they were sleeping, devastating the entire stairs, the pillar next to the stairs and the hall in front of their room.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Kun Shang was walking around on top of a bright lake that expanded across all horizons. He looked around him and noticed he was the only one here. The clear sky above him was reflected onto the lake, making it look like he was floating in air. Very quickly, he realized that he must be in another plane. He realized he's having a dream.
For miles, he walked, trying to find the sun to pinpoint directions but there doesn't seem to exist one, just a bright sky above him. Suddenly, he spotted ahead of him the black silhouette of a person still far out in the distance. He raced to it and when he got closer, he realized that it was the back of a woman with long silky hair. She was wearing a flowing, beautiful white robe. He couldn't see her face. Every direction that he walked, she spun around on an invisible circular disk so that her back was always towards him. Finally, he had enough and ran to grab her shoulder but a loud noise shook his world!
CREATORS' THOUGHTS
Just_Scissors Just_Scissors
The last scene was a dream. Or a hint.
I just want to say right here that this novel is a slow burn adventure with lots of romance and actions. If you are not used to reading those novel with over hundreds of chapters, then this one is probably not for you. But if you are used to it, then please keep reading.
I promise you will NOT be disappointed! This plot is legit, and incredibly original.
