Chapter 2: Chapter Two: Jopp the Ancient Demon

This was my home, now. I glanced at the marvel of human engineering, a house of cursed wood. Each creak echoed in my bones, telling their stories of how humans had chopped them down from the top of the world, to end up here, beneath my feet and above my head. The groans of the dead filled me with a rage that I knew could not be satisfied until every human was eaten, including the one I now possessed.

He called himself Tark, which was the stupidest thing he could do. All I need is a name to possess a human. Why don't you tell me yours? Ah, you have more than one name. You're safe from me, for now. I have to become stronger to possess humans that have more than one name. Just as a human eats matter, I eat souls: angry souls, desperate souls, sad souls, happy souls; any will do. It just happens that this world is diving into an abyss, and my buffet has just begun.

Where have all the angels gone? They were living with you all along. With the death of the last angel on this world, the moon signaled the beginning of the end with its crimson rays. Darkness will gather the wicked shadows, and fear me, for I am one of them.

You're not scared, you say? Keep telling yourself that. Every human has a limit, and every demon has a shadow that's hungry for your soul.
