Chapter 30: The Young Fool
So this is quite interesting, it seems burnt corpses don't give me as much strength compared to eating them raw.
Well, it could be due to it being burnt to a complete crisp so i'm not sure at the moment. I need to do more testing if this is the same case with perfectly cooked or at least almost cooked corpses.
Not once have I ever cooked my food as it will be considered a waste of time plus it will attract attention in the surrounding area and I certainly don't want that.
Anyway, Once I had eaten all the corpses I could find, even if they were adults or babies, it gave me a considerable boost in strength. I was eating like a total beast when I started eating due to not being able to eat that much these past few days.
Of course, the boost wasn't that good in comparison to when I almost died but it's good enough. It did sit my hunger at bay for a bit so that's also good.
So what am I going to do next? Nothing, nothing at all. Why? Cause I don't know what to do yet. I want to see how this goes until I can make a plan and act upon it.
I'm no good at planning as I always do it first and then think but since I'm in a dangerous place, I need to start doing things by thinking first or else I can say bye-bye to my dear little self.
So that is why for the past few days I'm doing other stuff from last time you could say so I won't be stuck in the tribe doing there.
*Chew*
Right now I'm eating before I go back to the tribe. Don't want to sleep on an empty stomach now do I?
*Chew* *Chew* *Chew*
After taking multiple large bites, I was done and began to clean up my mess like a true gentleman.
Roar!
I saw a white cat standing in the way, trying to hunt me so what did I do? Kicked the fuck out of it like it was a soccer ball.
In just one hit I manage to kill it, breaking its bones and damaging its organs. I grabbed it and placed it into my eating spot while digging a spot to reserve it for tomorrow.
'I can't believe I almost died to one of those in the past I thought with a small chuckle.
After taking a nice long walk, I finally spotted the Tribe and made my way in it with a few stares here and there, but nothing that doesn't bother me. I walked inside my house while ignoring "mother" who was still grieving over the loss of her daughter and husband.
'You'll visit them soon.'
Honestly though, pretending to be in grief for them is the hard part as I care little to no care for them. That's why I've been silent and have a sad look on my face.
"*Yawn* what a normal day, hope at least something happens tomorrow," I whispered as I lay down on my hard bed trying to go to sleep.

An army, if you could call these feeble numbers that. It wasn't much but it was all the Zrtyo Tribe had as they were going full force in the middle of the night. Wearing slight protection to at least cover themselves from wounds, they stood mighty as they walked steadily through the forest.
"Damn those old fools for underestimating me, I will take down the distuzone tribe and be supreme." A certain young fool said while walking in the midst of midnight
This certain young fool is the very elder of the Zrtyo tribe itself. He stands tall at around over 6 feet with a muscular build. He wasn't too ugly nor stunning, just normal.
"Indeed Elder, they don't seem to understand our power." Someone said trying to butter up to the young elder.
"Yeah! We'll show them our power and will alienate them without mercy."
….
Everyone stood quiet, they didn't trust this fool any bit, after the previous elder died, his son became the next elder. Despite the previous elders' teachings, it seems his arrogance got in the way of his teachings, leading to him being as he is today.
But they say nothing as they might think he could be right for once. The distuzone tribe achievements happened many years ago so their strength couldn't be as great as it is today, right?
There are some of course that didn't want to participate and get killed brutally but they had no choice in the matter or else they will get killed.
"How long until we get there?" The young elder asked
"We will get there shortly, Elder."
'Good."
The terrain wasn't all too difficult to pass as this area is where of course the distuzone tribe owns so it will be a smooth and easy terrain to pass by.
It might be considered a disadvantage for the distuzone tribe and it is but that wouldn't matter as they choose such a place on purpose due to a good place to grow your crops and what not.
But of course, they didn't leave their plane defenseless.
"Arghh!"
"Shit traps."
Yes, traps, many of them were placed all around and more will appear the closer they get."
"Kill him quickly before he alerts us that we are here."
Stab!
A simple stab to the skull managed to kill him off quickly.
"Of course, they would have tribes, why the hell didn't I think of that?"
That's because you are a fool.
"Make sure to tell them to watch out for traps and walk slowly, pass this message along." The young elder said
The one next to him nodded and began to pass the message from one person to another.
After many traps and men were killed, they were slowly closing in on their location.
"Finally. Now then, many of you will get in groups and spread out around the village. Kill any you see as fast as possible."
Passing the message, they all give the single and begin to start their raid.
