Chapter 7: Arena Fight & New Companions (1/2)
As both fighters met in the middle the first person to strike first was the Viking warrior Jovun who moved his red & white shield before ramming into the Kanabo Warrior who had blocked the first strike before he kicked Jovun's shield making him step backwards from the recoil.
Jovun: "You seem more powerful than expected but this is what makes a match interesting!"
Jovun raised his shield before charging forwards which the kanabo warrior raised his kanabo in response before bringing it downwards with a full swing that made contact with the shield making jovun stagger backwards.
CLANG!!!
TCH!
Jovun had quickly swung his short axe to which the kanabo warrior strike back at him. As both attacks were going to collide on one another Jovun had slammed his shield onto the Kanabo Warriors body making him stagger backwards and Jovun quickly taking this chance to swing at the kanabo warriors exposed upper body.
CLANG!!!
Who would have though the axe's swing would connect but not be enough to pierce his chest but it made a dent in the armor with his heavy swing.
The Kanabo warrior had grunted in pain before kicking Jovun's shield and swiftly with his right hand, swinging once more at the iron plated shield.

Slowly but surely both opponents started feeling a rhythm of each other's attacks and the one to be hit this time around was Jovun when he had blocked and swung but the kanabo warrior had riskily grabbed his short axe's handle and pulled him into a headbutt.
And following swiftly with a left hook straight at Jovun's face who had taken the punch knocking him backwards into one of the stone pillars.
ARGH!
CLANG!!!
Jovun had ducked a horizontal swing from the kanabo and spun himself around the kanabo warrior before striking his back making the kanabo warrior shout out in pain with his dented armor pressing against his back tightly.
CLANG!!!
And as if he had taken enough damage, the kanabo warrior shouted before charging straight at Jovun who had just in time raised his shield to block an overhead strike but before he could think of attacking the kanabo warrior struck once again at his shield that slowly started to creak with every heavy blow the kanabo warrior does.
Jovun: 'How does he still have enough strength to keep on fighting!? Two blows from the front and back should make him kneel from the pain!?'
With Kevin's own thoughts he refocused on his enemy who appears to be stronger than expected and he should stop cowering under a shield.
As the kanabo warrior was going to swing once again, Jovun had moved his axe with his shield and waiting for the swing he held both his axe and shield tightly with an iron grip.
Once the swing came crashing down onto him he had timed it perfectly enough to deflect the Kanabo's swing and with the warriors weapon in the air Jovun had slashed his weapon at the kanabo warrior who felt another shock of pain in his chest.
CLANG!!!
AARGH!!
Jovun then slammed his shield into the Kanabo's body but instead of knocking him backwards he had swiftly brought up his shield with the Kanabo's body on it before throwing the Kanabo warrior backwards and as he had hit the ground Jovun had moved in with his axe raised and as it slowly moved downwards at the kanabo warriors head.
CLANG!!!
Jovun: "Wh-"
THUD!
Jovun: "H-How did you...*cough*...do tha-...
And when everyone saw this unbelievable scene it made them shocked with how much bleeding the kanabo warrior had on his armor that is soaked in red.
The Kanabo warrior was disoriented when he was lifted upwards with the shield before being thrown backwards but remembering Alexi's words, he had taken out his wakizashi in that short amount of time.
With what little strength he had left he had grabbed the downward swinging axe's handle before thrusting the Wakizashi into Jovun's chest.
As the kanabo warrior slowly pushed the Vikings tall body off him he started to move towards the Tetsujin side but somehow Jovun had gotten up before he grabbed his short axe and ran towards the kanabo who wasn't ready for it and was struck down with the axe being implanted into his back.
As a last resort the kanabo warrior who was struck down had spun around with a painful body as he held the kanabo in his right hand tightly before slamming it against Jovun's head who was knocked off balanced and fell downwards.
The kanabo warrior although with seeping blood from his back and front, had slowly walked towards the Tetsujin side where his brothers waited for him and he soon fell with Alexis shout being the last thing he had heard.
Alexis: "Quickly help him and someone look for cloth, a needle and a long string!"
After hearing his Clan Leader worry about him made the kanabo's loyalty increase and pride swelling in his chest for showing off the Tetsujin's Strong
The Tetsujin Clan had won it's first fight showing off their warring prowess and vast vitality to those unknown. Soon the Kanabo warrior blacked out while being held by his brothers-in-arms.
Alexis POV
Watching the fight at the start made me excited, and also looking at their difference in strength but Jovun himself had good agility to make fast slashes at the kanabo warrior.

Still, even with a couple of heavy blows to the shield Jovun didn't lower his guard and took chances at attacking the kanabo warrior.
Jovun had made a great counterattack by deflecting the downward blow but his hands were shaking. He then swiftly spun around the kanabo warrior before striking his back denting the medium plate armor.

With some extra blows from the shield and Jovun swinging the kanabo warrior over his head with his shield is amazing to see.
When the Kanabo warrior fell to the ground and Jovun striking downwards, I sucked in a cold breath thinking it would be the end but with the Kanabo's last minute reaction made me release a breath of relief.
I looked at the audience around the arena who too had surprised yet exited faces while shouting in an emotional tone reminding me of sport stadiums being loud.
The kanabo warrior had gotten up slowly picking his Kanabo Weapon as he walked back slowly to our side where Our entire Clan watched him battle.
As everyone had smiling faces Jovun had gotten up slowly before swinging downward his short axe that had cut through the plate armor and a splash of blood was spreading everywhere with the Kanabo warrior shouting in pain but with what little strength he had left he swung his Kanabo to Jovun's face knocking him out.
I jumped over the arena's stands before running towards the slowly falling kanabo but the other two Kanabo warriors jumped over the stands before sprinting straight to the Kanabo warrior.
The closest one had slid towards the falling kanabo warriors body before pushing both his palms forwards pushing the falling warriors body upwards.
The second one had moved his right arm to hook his arm to the warriors neck stopping his fall. Soon they had placed both his arms over their shoulders and walking back to where I was shouting for someone to bring me clean cloth, a needle, and long string to try to sew up his bleeding back.
Once hearing my voice everyone snapped back at me and Aoi had taken out a needle and a long red string with one of the freed slaves ripping a part of their long sleeves.
C'mon baby, please work surgery. Don't let me down!!!
I had the two Kanabo warriors place the injured Kanabo warrior down to which they did slowly and telling them to take off his chest armor.
As they swiftly did what I told them I went through my inner memories on how to do this while also looping the string through the eye of the needle and telling one of the Kanabo warriors to use something the injured Kanabo warrior could bite into.
Alexis: "Someone go to the well outside and soak the cloth until it's clean and come back quickly!"
One of the Trained Footmen grabbed the cloth before sprinting outside where he saw the bloodshed but still ran towards the well where he started to wash the cloth and as he washed he felt something crawl onto his leg and saw a small Black Centipede with a weird symbol on its black carapace.

Although in fear he might be attacked, he had a mission to fulfill so it didn't think much of the little bugger.
When he turned after cleaning the cloth the Black Centipede had crawled it's way up to the footman's neck and started to wrap itself around his neck making him shudder out of fear of being strangled.
Nonetheless, he sprinted back to Alexis-sama's side with the clean cloth and a centipede wrapped around his neck.
When he did arrive, everyone was scared and told him he had a centipede on his neck to which he awkwardly nodded.
He jumped over the arena stands and gave the cloth to me in quick succession to which I took a deep breath and started wiping off his blood from his bloody back.
After cleaning his back, one of the Kanabo warriors gave the injured Kanabo warrior the Wakizashi's handle to bite on to which he looked at him questionably.
Before he could speak his mouth was stuffed with the Wakizashi's handle along with two Kanabo warriors holding his arms and their right ,& left legs wrapped around his.
A third Kanabo warrior was holding down his head and his back from moving making it look like he was about to be tortured badly.
I looked at the three Kanabo warriors who nodded and I soon comm need my first surgeon operation at closing wounds.
(Excuse my sewing knowledge, as I don't know nothing about it)
I slowly pierced his flesh and started to sew his flesh slowly taking my time to not mess up while the kanabo warrior started biting into the handle with his muffled screams while shaking his body to which the three Kanabo warriors held him down.
5 sewing minutes later
Once I was done, I had squeezed the cloth as hard as I could before soaking up the extra blood seeping through the sewed up flesh.
I...think the guy might be unconscious, hah...hah.. I'm never doing this again....Ill leave it to any companion who had better surgery skills than me.
I then had the three Kanabo warriors lift the sewed up Kanabo warrior and take him to our side.
In doing so I heard Zephyr said if we were done and if the next fight would continue to which I said yes and looked at the Kanabo warrior to the left before taking out my Wakizashi and a Tanto I had received from Aoi.

Alexis: "With whatever opponent you face, don't celebrate too early and strike hard"
Seeing him grab the two short weapons I warned him once again before he left to fight. And from the looks of it, it seems Frode is next in line to fight my chosen fighter.
Zephyr: "Well then, Let's get this fight started! Both fighters step right up to the ring and prepare to die!"
I chuckled somewhat and looked forwards to this coming fight, hopefully I don't have to sew up their torn flesh, but just in case, I told the same footman to clean the bloody rag.
I will say, the footman sure is lucky the large centipede has yet to bite him with it's sharp fangs. Maybe Nobunaga will talk to him about how to take care of the centipede since he took the Demon Wolf Alpha as his mount.
The kanabo warrior swinged himself over the stone wall before jumping into the arena itself and walking to the middle where we saw a 7.2 Warrior who had tribal tattoos on his robust body with a Two-handed Long axe.
He's tall, but not as tall as Zephyr who he himself is somewhere near 8'2 or 8'9 surprisingly for the people of this time.
I stopped my needless thoughts and focused once more on their fight, we shall fight against Zephyr and Teth in two more fights.
With both men walking up to one another, their difference in height was made known and with Frode releasing a ruthless and bloodthirsty aura around him made the Kanabo warrior grin rise slowly.
The kanabo warrior had released his own aura that was bloodthirsty and desire for endless fighting.
With both competitors ready, Zephyr shouted at them to start fighting as he laughed wildly and the first to strike was Frode who, with both hands gripped the long axe tightly in an iron grip before he pushed forwards and hit the kanabo warriors chest denting it in and making him roll backwards while getting up in quick succession.
But, it seems the kanabo warrior had sliced Frode's wrist as he had pushed the pole of his Large axe at the kanabo warrior as he was sent rolling backwards.
Frode: "Tch"
Soon Frode charged forwards but the kanabo warrior had rolled to the side before switching both small arms into a reverse grip and slicing Frode's back that made him grunt and swiftly rolled to the left avoiding a horizontal swing from Frode who slowly started getting faster with the momentum of his swings.
The kanabo kept rolling to the left or right and making a few shallow cuts in Frode's arms and legs but no deep cuts.
Frode's: "Hah, you scared litte man? Fight me up front instead of running like a coward!"
???: "If you desire, I will fight you straight on, you big Yak..."
Confused with what the words he spoke Frode was about to comment before a sharp object was thrown straight at his eye as it pierced his eye and went through his skull barely missing his brain as he started screaming out in pain.
All of a sudden the same aura as before started being released as a white Dire wolf started to materialize behind Frode as the area around him started being suffocated in pure bloodlust.
Zephyr: Oh! Frode's Going wild!!! Haha, finally someone embarrassed you in a battle!!!"
With Zephyrs words burning the already lit fire, Frode took in a deep breath before he roared. His roaring had bounced around the cave wall as he charged straight at the kanabo warrior who had a grin on his face before he charged forwards and jumped avoiding the White wolfs lunge at him.
He ran towards Frode who looked at him in boiling rage as he swung his Long axe once again but this time more faster than someone his size could do.
Frode: "You damn bastard! How dare you try to kill me by a cheap shot!"
???: "Who said we ever do honorable battles, we fight for the adrenaline it gives us as we fight stronger opponents than ourselves"
As the kanabo warrior said that he rolled to the left avoiding another lunge from the white wolf but this time slashing the white wolf's stomach.
As the wolf howled there was a red-like substance that leaked out of it's stomach but it came back to the stomach constructing itself back up again.
With the opponent gaining another ally the kanabo warrior's grin widened before he charged forwards and with Frode raising his axe upwards he brought it down making the ground crack and we soon saw a river below the arena surprising everyone except the Bandits, zephyr, his Vikings, Teth, his knights.
With the arena losing a side of the middle it became more dangerous to fight in the middle with it being a strong current and large shadows swimming around.
???: "Tch, you sure are a brute, similar to the Large Hobgoblin Brute we found, no intelligence at all in it's small brain..."
This angered Frode who started swinging his large axe as his muscles became more muscular every time he brought up his large axe and swinging it downwards and the same motion over and over again.
SWOOSH!!!
The kanabo warrior kept dodging and landing shallow cuts in Frode's arms along with ducking whenever the white wolf lunged at him with it's jaws wide open or it's claws swinging at him.
CLANG!!!
Even though the white wolf always reconstructed itself back together it's brightness seemed to decrease with every wound it ends up receiving on it's body.
CLANG!!!
Parrying one of Frode's heavy swinging with the Tanto somehow holding up making me want to asking Aoi what type of metal her tanto is made out of but Ill ask her later after this whole ordeal is over.
With the Kanabo warrior sliding below Frode, He swiftly grabbed Frode's right foot before swinging himself upwards and stabbing the tanto into Frode's neck which pierced but Frode didn't feel it as he had turned his axe's blade pointing at himself before he had brought up his axe before starting to swing it backwards at his back to injure the kanabo warrior.
Frode: "You damnable cockroach!!! Stay still!!!"
With the Kanabo warrior having to grab onto Frode's leather straps and move out of the way of his swings that kept hitting Frode's back that was now heavily bleeding.
As the kanabo warrior was about to stab the Tanto into Frode's skull, Frode had roared loudly as red spikes appeared on his back and stabbed through the Kanabo's medium armor as they all tore through his flesh and being impaled by 8 large red spikes had made the kanabo warrior roar out in pain.
With both opponents heavily bleeding and the Kanabo Warrior being impaled on Frode's back I was worried about him but the air around the Kanabo warrior changed suddenly as he had breathed out hot breaths.
The Kanabo's right hand suddenly moved to grab onto the Wakizashi stuck in the skull of Frode who had his arm lifted about to grab his body.
???: "You better live after this you bastard..."
The kanabo warrior used his tanto to cut off the red tendrils that had torn through his flesh while simultaneously pulling upwards the Wakizashi's inside Frode's skull that sliced his brain making him fall downwards with the Kanabo Warriors jumping off Frode's back.
Unlike the previous fight were the kanabo warrior had walked away, the kanabo warrior backed away and looked at Frode's Corpse with both small arms in a defensive stance
After five seconds Frode got up slowly, He looked straight at the kanabo warrior before he had materialized a set of throwing axes and raising his hand with an axe in hand he threw it at the kanabo warrior who rolled to the left avoiding the throwing axe that had passed the kanabo warrior before it slammed into the arena wall as it cracked the entire wall.
Frode: ".....you don't seem stupid huh...?"
???: "Who would be an idiot to block a throwing axe thrown by a giant like you"
Frode laughed before he grabbed two axes and started running towards the Kanabo warrior and started swinging both his aces that the Kanabo had to continuously dodge or either use both his weapons to redirect the few swings he could manage.

With every deflect the Kanabo's body kept bleeding with his body being torn by holes made by tendrils.
Frode: "Don't die before I run out of my spirit"
CLANG!!!!
Frode had done a horizontal swing that the Kanabo warrior tried blocking quickly but he was swept away by the blow and sent flying into one of the nearby pillars.
CLANG
BOOM!!!
With a cloud of dust arising from the impact, No one was able to see anything except Frode who was still standing with his head split open whilst still standing tall.
???: "*cough* I should have been ready...*cough*"
The kanabo warrior got up slowly with blood now spilling over his torn armor and the wakizashi broken and the tanto dented in half.
Frode: "Let's finish this once and for all!!!"
Frode had shouted out with the Kanabo warrior slowly taking off his upper armor and helmet slowly as he kept breathing out hot breaths.
???: "Let's finish it you big oaf, I can't lose with the entire Clan watching me *cough*..."
Aoi had suddenly thrown a Wakizashi to the Kanabo warrior who had caught the blade between his fingertips. Looking surprised he looked at the wakizashi that was shining radiantly as the sun and with it having golden kanji letters engraved upon the blade itself.
???: "Hōfuku....,then it's time to get back at you..."
The kanabo warrior had changed once again with his body starting to heat up same like my Oni transformation from before. But he didn't grow horns, become bigger, or his hair becoming longer.
Frode had thrown an axe at what was the kanabo warriors previous position but a no one could expect what would happen next, even myself who was dumbfounded as I watched it happen.
BOOM!!
As everyone had watched in horror of the axe spinning towards the kanabo warrior who hadn't moved. As if time itself had slowed, the kanabo warrior had slowly raised the Wakizashi and the kanji letters had lit up in a red color.
The kanabo warrior had then slowly disappeared from the top to bottom as the axe was about to hit his face he fully disappeared.
Frode was confused and before he could put up a better defensive position the kanabo warrior had appeared infront of Frode who had looked at him but as he was about to swing at him.
The kanabo warrior had slowly thrusted the wakizashi into Frode's heart as Frode had completely stopped moving before slumping down into the hard rock floor.
THUD
With his fall and Zephyr staring in shock and wonder we had won this match it seems. The kanabo warrior had slowly walked back to our side with his wounds slowly closing but he fell down and before anyone could catch him.
Aoi was already at his side holding him by his arm before she had thrown him over her shoulder like a sack of potatoes.
Alexis: 'What in the actual hell did I just witnessed in this very moment? Does that mean Ill be able to do those type of moves later in my life when I learn magic...'
How wonderful it is to watch different types of anime and try to recreate their own type of magic but how will the system interpret this worlds magic with their own....hmm thoughts for later...
Zephyr: "Hmm, I truly want to know what type of clan that woman hailed from. If this is just a subsidiary Clan of theirs I might regret making this fight"
Teth: "At least she isn't fighting against us and rather she is focused on protecting her Lord..."
Zephyr: "Well then, let my third warrior, Bjorn, go on to fight an-"
Bjorn: "Wait! Before you forsake me to win this battle, Arne & myself have agreed to fight the next battle as a pair"
Arne: "If the other two agree, we shall start our bloody fight and let the main fighters show off their True prowess"
Bjorn: "Let us fight together to show off our might as the Old Wolves of The Blood Wolves, Jarl Vandrad"
Zephyr had stopped to look at both Arne & Bjorn in surprise as his smile slowly disappeared and the air around him had changed into dread and pure bloodlust.
Vandrad: "Hmm, why did you have to give out my name you damn fools! But, you both better go to Valhalla before I kill you with my own hands..."
I was surprised but chuckled and it seems there's more to Zephyr than it seems. His real name is Vandrad and his rank is that of a Jarl apparently, even his entire personality turned into a 180.
Vandrad: "Lord Alexis, do you accept my foolish subordinates wish...?"
Alexis: "If both my Kanabo warriors agree we shall let them fight, do you both wish to fight in a pair?"
Both kanabo warrior looked at each other briefly before they both nodded to one another before they looked back at me with determination in their eyes.
Alexis: "They accept your subordinates wish to fight in a pair Zephyr"
Zephyr had nodded before both Arne & Bjorn had jumped over the stone railing, into the arena that was almost destroyed with pillar cracked or upper half missing.
A large hole in the middle that had the lingering shadows waiting for one to fall and became it's prey.
With the Viking pair jumping over the stone railing, the kanabo warriors followed suit, jumping over the stone railing with their Kanabo's on their backs ready to be swung.
With all four opponents entered the arena, Zephyr had shouted out to start without his previous enthusiasm but a cold and gruff voice.
Zephyr: "Start the damn fight!"
Both teams got their weapons ready before they charged forwards ready to clash in the middle of the arena. The first one to swing their weapon was Arne who had his shield raised before having to block a vertical swing of the iron kanabo.

Arne swiftly had stepped to the left avoiding a strong kick from the kanabo warrior before thrusting his short Iron sword into the kanabo warriors chest.

The kanabo warrior had moved to the left before swinging his Kanabo to which Arne drew back his sword before quickly raising up his shield to block the Kanabo's heavy overhead swing that made Arne kneel on one leg.
CLANG
The other kanabo warrior had swung his Kanabo at Bjorn who blocked with his long Two-handed axe and swiftly pushed him back before kicking Bjorn in his chest.
CLANG
???: "Pull yourself together!"
One of the kanabo warriors had shouted out at Bjorn who had quickly reacted by rolling to the right before sweeping the kanabo warriors off his legs as the iron kanabo was about to struck him.
As both of them rolled out of each other way they got back up near their partner who backed off after testing their opponent.
Arne: "Not bad"
???: "Hmm..."
All four of them had simultaneously charged once again but this time the kanabo warrior had charged forwards with greater strength taking Arne & the Kanabo warrior crashing into one of the few remaining pillars.

The other two had swung at one another in quick succession with sparks flying around them and it seemed as if their weapons weight was non-existent with how fast they kept swinging them at one another.

With an overhead swing from Bjorn the kanabo warrior swung to the right blocking the strike before kicking at Bjorn's stomach making him step back.
The warrior using this chance had raised his left fist before punching out at Bjorn's face who didn't expect a punch coming his way.
CLANG
With the punch hitting Bjorn away, the warrior had backed off avoiding a punch in return before closing in on Bjorn who smirked before he had swiftly raised his leg kicking at the warrior who had to jump to avoid the strong axe kick that would've crushed his left leg.
Bjorn had raised his axe ready to strike the kanabo warrior in the air with a grin on his face. With the ace being brought down slowly as in slow motion for everyone to see the warriors fall.
Even if it was a mistake, the warrior would rather fight with everything he has, than to have his lower limbs broken and no longer being able to fight.
The kanabo warrior saw the large axe heading straight for his head. Unknown how to survive the kanabo warrior had to reassure himself of his coming fall.
But, he would never die without striking his enemy once otherwise he would shame his honor and his Clan.
With his right hand he had quickly unsheathed his wakizashi from his waists belt and moving his head to the side he let the axe strike his shoulder but had grabbed the handle of the hand with a shaking hand before thrusting the Wakizashi into Bjorn's chest, ultimately stabbing him as both had grunted in pain.
Both Bjorn and the Kanabo warrior looked in each other before they both simultaneously brought back their heads before slamming their heads onto one another.

Bjorn had round his head back before head butting the kanabo warriors head and kicking his left leg, intending to sweep him off his feet. The kanabo warrior tried to move his leg but with the axe holding him down from his shoulder he couldn't put more force into moving his legs.
The kanabo warrior had grit his teeth in pain from feeling his legs bone cracking slightly. As the kanabo warrior fell he had kicked Bjorn in his face with the corner of his geta's front tooth. Bjorn stepped backwards holding his right eye while it started to bleed.
As the kanabo warrior had rolled out of Bjorn's quick downward strike he swung his kanabo clashing against Bjorn's strikes.
In the other side Arne was clashing against the kanabo warrior while blocking with his shield. With every fast swing of their weapons, dust kept rising and from the looks of it, they won't be stopping anytime soon.

Arne: "Aren't you fast...?"
With no response from the Kanabo warrior except a grin, Arne charged forwards and blocking with his shield he deflected the kanabo warriors strike.
With the Kanabo up in the air, Arne had instead of striking with his sword, headbutted the unsuspecting kanabo warrior in his head taking him by surprise. With the Kanabo warrior being stunned, Arne kicked the warrior in his stomach before slashing at the Kanabo's right arm.

The kanabo warrior had his right arm bleeding but In that quick exchange he had forcefully brought down his Kanabo breaking Arne's shield and his right arm as he had taken multiple steps back while groaning in pain.
CLANG
BANG
Arne: "If you people joined the Jōrvik Kingdom you would be hailed...as a strong clan with incredible strength...*cough*.....and on par with the Old Svart Ulvevakt..."
???: "Hmm, If we ever get the chance we might visit them"
Arne was lost before he started laughing at the warriors statement before chuckling as he quickly ducked before a fast and sharp projectile flew past Arne and towards the kanabo warrior who had heard it at the last moment.
As the sharp axe inched closer to the Kanabo warrior a Wakizashi had been thrown from across the arena by the other kanabo warrior who was now bleeding profusely from his mouth and chest.
???: "I swear, sometimes being a fighting addict is a curse...You shouldn't always put all your focus onto your opponent until...you two are the only ones left..."
With those words the kanabo warrior pushed himself forwards while clashing against Bjorn who had a grin on his face while covered in cuts and slashes that spilled blood around him.
Bjorn: "Guess not everyone is the same huh? Still, your reaction speed and strength is commendable"
???: "Hmm..."
The kanabo warrior headbutted Bjorn before kicking Bjorn in his gut with his right foot pushing him away before he brought back his Kanabo and swung it horizontally hitting Bjorn's Large axe who tried blocking.
With an even greater strength he clashed against Bjorn's Large axe that was slowly creaking before a crack was heard making Bjorn serious as just before it broke he sucked in air.
Bjorn let his axe break and instead of running or dodging he tanked the heavy strike of the Kanabo as he internally groaned in pain from feeling his rib cage crack somewhat.
The kanabo warrior was confused from Bjorn's actions but before he could think of why, Bjorn had breathed out a blue mist towards the warriors face that suddenly wanted to fall asleep.
The kanabo tried to move away but with the blue mist having entered his nostrils into his brain his legs felt weak making him kneel down.
As the kanabo warrior tried blocking his arms couldn't hold his heavy weapon so he took Bjorn's heavy fist straight to his face sending him flying towards one of the pillars.
Boom!
With the huge explosion both Arne and the Kanabo warrior looked towards the other side of the arena only to see the kanabo warrior laying on a pillar while bleeding from his mouth.
As Bjorn slowly walked towards the fallen kanabo warrior, he took out an extra throwing axe from his hide pelt.
Bjorn: "You guys sure pack a punch, 3 of my ribs broke from just the impact. I don't want to know about that smiling womans strength if you can do this much to me..."
NOOO!
As Bjorn raised his hatchet high he looked at Arne who was laying on his back in the cold, stone floor with foam coming out his mouth with his right arm twisted.
Bjorn: "Wha-....Ho-"
Before he could finish he felt extreme pain in his lower abdomen. As he slowly looked down he saw a hand inside his right side and looking at the attacker who was the kanabo warrior Arne was fighting.
The current Kanabo warrior was different than before with him releasing hot breaths and his iris turned red with his pupil becoming that of a snakes slit, and an upward curved Black Horn on the right side of his head.
???: "Don't...touch...him....
Everyone in the arena was surprised by the current change of the Kanabo warrior whom changed completely. Albeit slowly, his injuries slowly started to heal while glaring straight at Bjorn's in the eye.
Bjorn: "Who would think you had this type of power..*cough*...In that case.... it's my turn..."
The Kanabo warrior had instinctively taken out his hand from Bjorn's gut before high kicking Bjorn across the arena into the stands themselves as people scattered to take cover.
The kanabo warrior quickly put his hand over the older kanabo warriors shoulder before swiftly disappearing and appearing near the Tetsujin Clan whose faces were surprised and the newer recruits had exited expressions on their faces.
???:...Keep...him...alive... Alexis-Sama.....Katsuyori -sama....
Alexis: "Rest assured, he will be fine"
???: "Thank....you...."
At the same time they had disappeared, Bjorn had slowly gotten out of the crater he found himself in before looking straight at Vandrad who looked at Bjorn with no expression in his face.
Bjorn turned towards where the kanabo warrior was before silently whispering words that slowly formed around Bjorn as the temperature dropped.
Bjorn: "Isa....sowulo....kenaz...give me the strength to overcome my trial...."
All of a sudden letters started forming more clearly around Bjorn who had grown taller than before standing at 2 meters tall with his skin turning slightly pale with some blue veins around him.
Slowly the letters started to descend onto Bjorn's body who started screaming as he forcefully branded himself with the strange markings.
ARGHH
It seemed to make his pale skin turn blue with frost now spreading from the soles of his feet to the ground. Slowly an Ice club was being formed from the ground up and Bjorn held the Ice club tightly.
Aoi: "Lord Alexis, would you be so kind to lend me your Katana?"
Alexis: "Sure...? What do you need it for?"
Aoi: "Just giving our Kanabo warrior a better way to control his power and to see his potential for the Tetsujin Clan"
I looked at her incredibly before remembering my own transformation and thinking of having another one like me made me get exited so I took out my katana from a vortex that formed when I thought of taking out my katana from my inventory.
Vandrad: 'Hmm, a pocket of space he controls at will without casting it. Truly an interesting person I have met in this continent'
Unknown to Vandrad's thoughts I gave my katana to AoI who smiled at me before she placed two fingers on the blade before chanting silently as she slid her fingers from the handle to the tip of the blade.
When her fingers touched the blade, words in Kanji were being engraved upon the blade before they lit up in flames as Aoi slowly said what it's name is.
Aoi: "Protect your allies and burn all those who oppose you...Honō no Seifuku-sha..."
Once she said it's name it roared out before Aoi threw it towards the kanabo Warrior who caught it before he took a few seconds to get used to his new weapon that engulfed his entire body in flames.
???: "So your name is Honō no Seifuku-sha, I will gladly burn down my enemy....."
The zigzag rune in Bjorn's arm shined before it flew towards the kanabo warrior who slashed at the flying rune that once it made contact with the flames exploded making the kanabo warrior jump back while sucking in the flames around him.
With the flames being sucked into his mouth, he had gotten stronger and looking through the engulfing flames he saw Bjorn smirk before the warrior started moving backwards avoiding sharp pillars made of ice that came from the ground.

With each sidestep he got better reaction speed with the flames now spreading to the ground floor where it warned him of abnormal temperature being created.
With every dodge, he became more faster before charging straight at Bjorn who raised his Ice Club high before swinging downward as a wave of ice spikes grew from the ground and charged at the kanabo warrior who had slashed forwards releasing a projectile of flames.

As both waves crashed against one another the air kept changing temperature from cold-to-hot and soon both the Kanabo warrior and Bjorn started spamming each other with large waves of attacks.

After a few seconds of doing the same thing Bjorn charged forwards going through the hot flames before swinging down his ice club that the Kanabo warrior clashed again.
The kanabo warrior kneed Bjorn's stomach that seemed to be tougher than before but it still cracked somewhat from the warriors knee to the stomach
Soon both started swinging their respective weapons at each other with flames affecting Bjorn, and Ice freezing the kanabo warrior but their respective elements kept nullifying each other.

With a heavy punch straight to the face from Bjorn the kanabo warrior reeled his head back before headbutting Bjorn and kicking him in his chest sending Bjorn flying across the arena.

Whilst Bjorn was in the air the kanabo warrior had made several fireballs before blasting Bjorn to the cave ceiling as the cave rumbled from the seismic explosions.

The kanabo warrior quickly appeared before Bjorn who looked at him with a grin as the kanabo warrior had been pierced through his body with countless ice spears.
The Tetsujin clan had shocked and horrified faces but even with the countless spears within him the kanabo warrior looked straight at Bjorn's eyes before he stabbed his katana straight at Bjorn's heart.
Bjorn lowered his head while his pale blue body started to become whiter than before. As the kanabo warrior raised his katana high in the air imbued with pure flames and about to bring it down.

Bjorn raised his head before lightning arcs grew from his hands as he grabbed the Kanabo's head before punching him straight down at the arena where the floor broke off once more

Bjorn started to punch the kanabo straight in his face before backing off as flames erupted from the kanabo warrior and both looked at one another before charging with Bjorn now having a Longsword made of Ice with lightning around it.
As they clashed, the Lightning started striking the Kanabo's body as he struggled from the intense pain his nervous system was sending him from countless shocks.
???: "Just...die already!!!"
Bjorn: "Then Strike me with all you got!!!"
With the flames from the Katana swirling around they started forming together as it's flames became more intense than before.
With another punch from Bjorn the kanabo warrior started swinging his katana at the Longsword that started to melt from the intensity of his flames.
Bjorn let go of his Longsword and breathed in the cold air around him he looked at the kanabo warrior that had no expression in his face.
As Bjorn was about to release the blue mist from within his body the kanabo warrior got past the lightning field surrounding Bjorn's body as it struck the Kanabo's body intensely.
The kanabo warrior had raised his left arm and hit Bjorn's chin with his left palm stopping him from releasing his blue mist. Before Bjorn could move away the kanabo warrior stabbed his katana into Bjorn's stomach and grabbed his shoulder tightly not letting go.
???: "This....is for messing with my family..."
Before Bjorn could do anything else he saw the flames around them surge towards the Kanabo's body as it was sucked through his katana as Bjorn felt the intensity of the flames burn his very intestines as the flames started to spread throughout his body raging about and not long after Bjorn's body slowly grew to tht of a balloon.
???: "Sayonara...."
After saying his goodbye Bjorn's body exploded into pure flames and thus marked the ending to this fight that broke countless bones, teeth, and became an official marking for the Tetsujin Clans arrival to this new World.
All that remains of this small journey is Vandrad vs Alexis, and Katsuyori vs Teth, who shall be the winners of this match?
